Multiple meal orders have been received wrong or missing ingredients. Although we like the service the unpredictability has led us to start looking for other options.

Disappointed

There is always something missing. Be it a recipe card or an ingredient or the wrong ingredient. I haven’t even gotten my box yet for this week and it’s 8:48 on Wednesday night. The new delivery people suck. When it was delivered by fed ex it was always early and on time Monday morning.

The timing required for each meals is…

The timing required for each meals is inaccurate and actually requires almost double what the recipe says. Fairly good food but too many ingredients and time required for busy families

Issues with quality control

I have had issues in the last few months with missing ingredients, missing recipe cards, and wrong meals sent. The quality control seems to be wavering from when I started using this service.

Love the food and recipes generally… but including the meat in the pre-packaged bags would be helpful and prevent mistakes by new unpackers.

The food is great, but...

The food is great. Quality is great. Only negative is that my last box (first one since I came back to Hello Fresh) contained the wrong recipe card for my meal. Kind of a pain in the neck to cook the meal using my phone to view downloaded directions.

It the last several months I've had…

It the last several months I've had more and more issues with the contents of the delivery. Customer support has always been very helpful when I've decided to reach out, but I don't always have the time and energy to do so. It would be better if delivery content was accurate in the first place
I've experienced:
- missing ingredients
- wrong contents of a kit
- whole kits missing (but got the card and the protein)
- ingredients gone bad

Lately this has not been a reliable service

Usually my box comes every Wednesday but I didn’t get a box last week and my box is late this week. Sometimes the meals don’t match the meals but the instructions can be found on the website Not sure what’s going on may cancel

My order was 3 days late and warm when…

My order was 3 days late and warm when it got to me had to throw it away. My family relies on the meals arriving on the day they're scheduled. We usually make no other plans for those three days. It was quite an inconvenience. When I spoke with Customer Service the best they could over was a 30.00 credit, my 3 meals are 85.00. I feel this is lacking and should have been my next meal order for free due to the inconvenience. If you are not willing to make things right with the gesture I mentioned, I will take my business to another meal prep company. Thanks, Robert

Convenience of meal service, but missing ingredients consistantly

I like how convenient the meals are and that I don’t have to think up recipes, but we seem to be missing or shorted a portion of at least one ingredient each week. This makes it less convenient as we then need to buy the ingredient or hope we have a substitute. We have received credits for the weeks we reported missing ingredients, but it still takes away from the convenience aspect of a meal service.

Good, wish for more dietary help

I love what we get for the most part it is fresh and helps so much with busy nights. I wish there were more dairy free pescatarian options as that’s my current breastfeeding diet and the reason we signed up bc figuring out those meals every night was getting tiring.

Generally enjoyable, but confusing website setup

Generally, I enjoy Hello Fresh. I've had some issues with missing ingredients but overall it's a good system and I enjoy the meals. We have discovered some delicious and healthy new recipes that we enjoy through our membership.

Some drawbacks: It is impossible to find where I can pause my subscription on either the website or the app. Also, the flavors on the food tend to be more on the mild side, which is fine, but it took us by surprise the first few times. (We've learned to modify where needed)
