I didn’t use your internet since 2024 Nov plus I still paid you 6-7 months now you still want money , even though I owe you money you can reduce money I paid with no internet no service, I already called you when we moved from previously house and I asked you to transfer my nternet to new adress, what did you told me ? Sorry we dont have service in this area!!!!!

HB lied in their last reply to my reviews and said I have been charged £100 extra for an engineer visit. I was sat with their engineer having a cup of coffee whilst he wrote his report on the problem with my connection, he stated that it was HB faulty equipment. In fact whilst installing the new black box he had to go down to his van an retrieve two additional pieces of equipment as the next ones he originally brought into my property were also faulty. Andre kindly left me all of the packaging for these as evidence.
In addition to this their credit control team is aware that I have an ongoing complaint regarding their fallacy of me owing an extra £100 on my bill and instead of freezing my account they're sending it to debt collectors.
I will most likely be taking HB to the county court and seek repudiation of my contract.
This company is a circus and it's staff are clowns.
AVOID AT ALL COSTS

Fantastic service from Chris Bellott - we had a harder installation due to the set up of the flat but he stayed over 2 hours to get it all completed. Would highly recommend to anyone!

My mother-in-law is dying in a nursing home, so to help my wife (who has power of attorney) I have attempted to cancel the Hey!Broadband contract at my mother-in-law’s home. Despite explaining the situation at great length on two occasions and supply evidence of power of attorney also on two occasions I had to resort to cancelling the DD mandate to stop the payments. I have now received an email insisting that I reinstate the Direct debit or be charged extra payments. When I spoke to the cancellation team they said they had no record of this and required permission from the account holder to proceed. We as a family have had no problems cancelling other services yet Hey!Broadband insist on a conversation with a dying dementia patient before proceeding. What customer service!

Whilst checking my account, I noticed I had not received my bill for April & May, using the AI Chat facility on the HeyBroadband website, I was quickly transferred to Mandisa Gabuza, Customer Services Billing, who sent me copies of the missing invoices - great service

Was signed up by a doorstep salesman, was telling me I was entitled to compensation for my poor service. It was not until the very end did I realise he was signing me up to a new service with a new company. I then said I didn’t want it as I was moving house soon but he then reassured me that wasn’t a problem as I could switch to my new address. He also told me an engineer would come after work to change over. The engineer turned up during the day so I had to leave work early and loose half a days pay. Fast forward a few months and I move house, I called to change it over and they informed me they wouldn’t and I had to pay the contract out in full. I have been back and forth with complaints since late January and constantly told someone will be in touch to resolve things and they never do. They constantly delay tactics so you just continue to pay the full amount even though they agreed to cut the fee. I have given up now and just conceded I will have to pay the £400+ bill for a service I don’t have. Incredibly shady company that lies to you and delays everything as long as possible so that you continue to pay. Avoid at all cost.

**Update**
The below response from Hey Broadband perfectly illustrates how I believe they do not understand their own tech. This is the third or fourth variation I have seen on their 'Superpods'. Like I said...broadband is great, their tech and support.....not so much. It would be helpful to speak to a tech support agent who understands more about networking than I do. Switching the TP-Link WiFi extenders.
Giving two stars here as the actual broadband is pretty good/stable. But do not trust a word this lot tells you. Over two years ago, an engineer turned up at my house to install my shiny new broadband. Based on my requirements, he advised me to purchase the pods to extend the WIFI throughout the property. Only recently have I started to have WIFI issues. So, fast forward two years: the support at HB is now saying the pods were never installed correctly, since the router's Wi-Fi should have been switched off. So they switched it off, and now my 500 Mbps connection on Wi-Fi to my work laptop is 100 Mbps!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Somebody, please, make that make sense.
And to top it off, you're then treated like an absolute moron. Which, maybe I am for believing the BS in the first place.
As I say, the actual Broadband service is fine. Just don't fall for the sales pitch, and double-check any work their engineers are doing!
