Bought phone insurance and sent all the detail what they asked and they insured my phone. After 7 months my phone screen got damaged and i made claim and they start asking me stupid proof like send mobile usage data ,proof of purchase with matching model IMEI/SN/MODEL NO all the detail and proof of invoice . I sent them everything and they refused my claim as the phone is 2 years old and they don't insure 24 months old phone. But when i bought policy at that time they didn't ask me anything which is clearly shows that they love to insure the device but don't like to accept the claim.
They even didn't cancel or change my policy and the policy is completely useless for me as i have to buy new phone and now i insured my new phone with my bank.
Please don't buy any type of insurance with them as they wont accept because they got very stupid reason to refuse the claim.

The photos are not acceptable proof (the photos are very clear and I keep retaking them to and resending them as they have requested). So they refuse to insure my phone and refuse to give me a refund. What have I paid for?! Absolute scam!

Honestly if I could give 0 stars I would. The cover looks great, but try claiming on it. My tenant had a burst pipe, the engineer (finally) arrived after 2 days, and refused to lift any flooring to get to it. Apparently thats not covered? SO you are expected to lift all the floors, locate the leak yourself then they will come and fix it. What a waste of money. I ended up paying a private contractor to complete the work. Took out mobile phone cover on a monthly plan. Instead they took out the full years amount. When questioned they said I can cancel and re apply but I will lose half the money I have already paid. Still ongoing......crooks

Utter crooks - will do anything to avoid a claim, placing you on "hold" and then leaving you indefinitely whilst they "check the policy wording".
I had paid for electricity cover, they claim simply that "should the lights go out, we will rescue you in a flash". Well my lights went out, and as they had gone out in half of my property, not the whole property, this apparently was against their policy terms. This is not stated in any part of the policy wording and they just flat out refused to take the case any further.
AVOID at all costs.

Just got phone insurance from homeinsuranceco via moneysupermarket and they are messing me around requiring photos of my device from every angle to prove there is no damage before they start the policy, and each time making up new rules as to why they won't accept my pictures?! I followed their instructions exactly and they are just being plain ridiculous saying things like I must make sure my device isn't on dark mode when the photo is taken. Stupid.

Suspended service while continuing to take payment. They did this instead of cancelling my service so they could take payment and not be in breach of their Terms and Conditions.

The worst company i took out a gadget insurance with!
I took out a phone insurance with them (over a month ago), and paid £48.50.
After speaking to someone in the team after taking the policy out via moneysupermarket i was reassured that my device was covered.
Now that i have lost my phone and i am trying to make a claim, it is being rejected (as i didnt buy it from a UK Telecoms Provider).
I rang the people in the team on the number 0330 22 32 897 and they were soo rude, laughing at me on the phone and telling me that i cant get no refund back cause im over the 14 day period, and that to cancel i have to pay an extra £9.95 to cancel this policy!
The customer adviser also said that "my phone doesnt have much market value like an iPhone 11, and that I can get another one for £250", but its weird when i took this policy, they didnt say that! #DoubleStandards!!
This company should not be allowed to trade!!

s. The company is a scam.I took a phone insurance with them a week ago. The phone is still not insured as they dont accept the photos of the phone and IMEA. I sent dozens of clear photos with IMEA clearly visible but they still reject to insure! Its a joke. They are too quick to take the money but find every excuse not to proceed with the insurance. They should not be allowed to trade. They will be reported.

Absolutely rubbish take money under false pretences do not go near this company, explained that my boiler was old they said don’t worry we keep theses. BOilers going all the time, great paid £18 a month and agreed a £75 call out as boiler was old, 6 months in a fault on boiler paid £75 before they would come out turned up day later to tell me it was uneconomic to repair they say as it is old they will only repair upto wait for it £82, if they had said that from beginning I would not have taken out the cover, now requested a full refund and I am not holding my breath. Wish I had read the reviews.
