You tried to purchase a service which we cancelled before you reached the gateway. No money was ever taken and no service ever delivered.
How can you say it is a bad service when you have never used it?

Where exactly did you get your 70% figure from or did you just make up a number that sounded good to you as you were with us for only 1 month and utilised your VM for three weeks?
You purchased a 250GB storage deal for £1.99/m.
It is a storage plan and not one configured for or intended for intense compute but for regular storage.
You are a webhost yourself, and instead of purchasing a plan suitable to host your clients sites on which we offer many of offcourse at higher pricing, you chose the bottom of the barrel plan not intended to host cpanel and multiple sites and tried to use that plan for your clients.
With many other clients using the storage node as intended, the load can rise but not once has our storage node gone down https://status.hostdoc.co.uk

Is this a competitor review to make us look bad or an honest one as a client?
I have reached out to you via email but no response has been had.
If you require a more suitable plan for web hosting, feel feel to let us know.

The prices are excellent

The prices are excellent, also the network and the servers are very good, they attend quickly through the chat that I like very much!

Just what the Doctor ordered.

Just what the Doctor ordered.

I rent a KVM VPS and a Storage Pool at their US location with HostDoc Hosting and have nothing but praise so far. They offer a broad range of payment methods, delivery was quick and they keep their customers informed of the process at all times via E-Mail and their easy to use backend.

The quality of service and the delivered hardware if compared to the market leaders in the Virtual Private Server segment makes for an outstanding price / performance ratio.

I would highly recommend to try them out if you are looking for a new Virtual Private Server. I can't speak for other services they offer but I wouldn't be surprised if their Web Hosting and Dedicated Servers are equally impressive.

Worst host ever

Worst host ever! Stay away!

and you are a liar, I was asked for a refund but you refused! And I have not received my money yet, so don't lie.

Do not buy from this kid, save your money!

Performance is terrible, only for personal use and it's not worth it

Don't buy specs it's a scam!

So, you were terminated and offered a full refund.
You opened a paypal dispute instead. Upon losing, your refund was still offered.
You went to a forum to complain.
Upon sharing the transcript we had to the forum, everybody saw you were in thr wrong except you. Your refund was still offered.
So, everyone from paypal to the general public agree we acyed accordingly but you.
Instead, you are running around everywhere you can find in an attempt to tarnish us and our service.

Something different from advertising was delivered.
Even if I asked for a refund, HostDoc did not respond.
Instead, HostDoc has put up a mess.
HostDoc is a company that can not be helped.

Your service was cancelled 6 month ago.
Looking through your tickets, you had 10 VPS pool which was delivered and utilised for 2 months.
Mid way through your second month of service you requested a pro-rata refund which is not possible and was advised to cancel the service for the end of the billing period.
We did not hear from you since until this.

edit: ok I saw their reply on this review, I don't have time to entertain things like this, but since you replied on this public space, then I'll share what actually happened. I ordered their service, DSX112 VPS (Singapore), 3 July 2019, which apparently requires 12 hours of activation. And then I tried to configure my VPS for my project needs, and found out they allocate my VPS in Texas instead of Singapore!

I sent them a ticket, and on July 4 about this, and got a response: We have just finished configuring our new SG node and it will be ready for deployment tomorrow, however, it is only HDD storage and the dual storage will be available after we carry out maintenance on that node due in about 2 weeks time..

I can't accept waiting another day, as I already waited 12 hours to get the VPS activated, I don't want to wait another day. So I went with another provider instead, which can provision a vps instantly in Singapore, and just leave those Texas vps.

I tried to ask for a refund, since I already got another provider to work with, but then they said I'm already using 1TB of their bandwidth and they won't do refund. I don't touch those vps anymore, once I found out they don't deliver what I've ordered, I already disappointed. I do got mad when, because I'm not using those bandwidth, but then they explained whatever happened with the VPS is my liability.

What makes me don't like this provider is, they should have asked me first before placing my vps on texas. I'm ordering for A, not expecting B, unless you asked me first, whether I would accept B as replacement of A. Also instead of asking am I being compromised, instead they just accused me wasting their 1TB precious bandwidth in 24 hours, what a great customer service!

You lost your bandwidth because my VPS got compromised, I lost my time to deal with you.

Now this is the full chronology, not just about me wasting their bandwidth.

Using 1TB of premium 10gbps bandwidth in 14 hours and then requesting a refund is not acceptable. If that constitutes a bad experience then I am sorry.

You ordered a service that could either have
1. Been delivered only to be interrupted by a maintenance a few weeks later if provisioned on the correct node.
2. Held in a pending state for 2 weeks which tends to antagonise clients even more.

A decision was taken (a bad one I may add) to provision your dual storage plan in the only other location we offered dual storage until your node was ready. Had this been acceptable, you would have had the VPS free and only begin being billed once provisioned in your correct location.

You were angry and rightfully so. We were happy to process the refund but then it was noted in the short time you had the instance, 1TB+ bandwidth had been exhausted.

As with anything rented, be it a car, a oven or even a mobile toilet, as soon as the end user has it in their possession, any damage is charged to the user. In your case, your instance was compromised and an excessive amount of bandwidth was used. In such a case, you were in charge of the VPS so the responsibility of the use was yours to bear.

Despite this, we let you know a refund would not be forthcoming due to the excessive bandwidth use, but, we would still be happy to place you on our NVMe SG node once it was ready with a new billing term and all the resources your plan included including the APAC bandwidth.

By this time, I guess you were too angry to understand our response or pursue it further and instead of discussing the situation further with us, resorted to posting on TP.

A lot of clients may not like that we do not accept abuse, scams or fake reviews, but one thing we do well is to be available for communication.
Had you wanted to discuss the issue in real time, we have live chat and could have explained everything clearly.

As mentioned in my first reply, sorry but requesting a refund for an instance that had used in excess of 1TB 10gbps bandwidth in less than a day is unacceptable.
Provisioning you in the wrong location is also unacceptable.
But we were ready and willing to offer an alternative solution had you been willing to hear it.

You opened a ticket requesting it be increased to 20 for free or you will cancel.
We agreed to the cancellation and refunded you.

very bad service provider

very bad service provider. People are Giving review without purchasing.

Ex customer. Server was down more than up. Then they complain that I have submitted too many tickets because the server would go down almost daily. So I cancelled service then they told me they were going to report me to some fraud site because I complained too much for my server being down.

It’s almost as if they expected me to have a non functional server and just pay money for nothing. When VPS servers completely disconnect from their control panel software they have not a clue what they are doing. I’ve had some poor hosts before but at least the server was online.

You are a member of a forum we are active on, why not open a thread?

It is a shame you waste your time making up lies and trying to destroy a good service rather than using that time to better yourself.

Very happy with the service

Very happy with the service so far. Very easy to setup hosts and the features on offer are just what I've been looking for. I especially like the addon features that are on offer, because I've struggled in the past to be able to 'upgrade' hosting plans that I've already purchased.

Overall, very happy and HostDoc provide a very good overall service.
