Goods not fit for purpose

Received my order yesterday of 3 bottles of perfume. One would not spray. The perfume just leaked from the collar of the bottle. I informed the seller who wanted a video of the none working spray. I do not have the technology ( smart phone) to do videos. I described the problem in detail and asked for a prepaid envelope to return the faulty perfume. I got a rather sharp email back saying if I could not send a video of the none working spray ( I apparently had to prove a negative, images of some thing not happening?) she would not help me as I could be anyone just trying to get a free bottle of perfume. I have informed her that I would not lie over a £6.00ish perfume and her attitude is terrible. While I was putting the bottle away, I realised the perfume had leaked in the box so I have sent still images of the damage box liner in a email. Goods not fit for purpose, tuff your not geting a replacement and it will be implied you lying... Debbie... Up date... I sent you the images of the perfume stained box liner, this was not good enough for you and yet again you implied I could have just spilt a drink on it. I do not know how to make videos. I have tryed and sent you them. To day you have responded to this review by imply again I am lying. You now have video evidence of the faulty spray. If you don't belive me and I can't send it back it's a win all round for you isent it. You have caused offense and your customer relation skills are atrocious.It took me 3 hours to make a 11 second video proving the spray did not work. I don't suppose an apology for implying I was lying will be forthcoming... Update, you told me to use my smart phone. I told you I did not have one not everyone does and you did imply I was lying more than once, I was not. I have never made a video and had no idear how to make one. It took me 3 hours and it ended up on Facebook, I don't know why but it did.You claim I was not complying and being awkward,I was not. I was doing my best to relay the information you wanted. I sent you pictures of the stained box. Your response was I could have spilt something on it on purpose. I did not. I did not want a refund just wanted a replacement bottle of perfume instead of a faulty one. I have all your emails that imply I was lying all 14 of them...

Hi,
As we established you do have the technology to do a video you just did not want to cooperate in providing what was necessary for us to help you. If you choose not to provide information there is very little that can be done. Proof of damage or defect is a requirement for every business.
We are of course not going to provide a prepaid envelope as even if we were able to offer free returns there is no courier in which you can legally knowingly send a leaking flammable liquid.
We informed you that once we had proof of defect a refund would be issued, and as you have now provided this, this will be processed for you today.
We apologise for any offense caused.

Edit: As you can see we have apologised for any offence caused. However, we have not, are not and will not make any implications that you are lying. We were merely explaining to yourself why there is a need for proof of a defect. You were not cooperating, which granted could be because you struggle with technology, but proof of damage is a standard expectation for complaints in more or less every business. This is because there are many people who do make false claims, and due to the number of people who do even genuine issues need to provide evidence.

Second edit: Yes, we did suggest the use of a smart phone as this is the most common method. And as you had already mentioned being able to send images we made an incorrect assumption based off of that. We apologise for jumping to conclusions. Again, we did not imply you are lying, if that is how you wish to take it then do so but it is just not the case. Not once have we ever had an issue with a customer not providing the information we need in order to resolve the issue. We would not have offered an immediate replacement as the cost of shipping is too high. The only options would be a refund or replacement in your next order and as you made it very clear your hostility toward us, rather than prolong a rather unpleasant situation we refunded your item to resolve the issue. Respectfully, you may feel offended, but as did our team who were only doing their jobs and trying to help resolve your issue. The one member of our team I believe was trying to resolve it at 10PM last night in their own time outside of working hours.

You are entitled to your own opinion but as the issue is resolved we will not be dealing with this further.

Impressive scent

Bought 4 perfumes 2 x male, 2 x female. Very impressed with the scent and great price. Will definitely be purchasing again.

Never written a review before but AVOID. Absolutely shocking company, non-existent delivery, even worse customer experience. Plenty of other essence shops to order from.

We have absolutely no record of an order with this name in the whole history of our orders much less on the date of the supposed experience, there has been no communication with ourselves to even provide any customer service.

Most of the eau de perfumes for men…

Most of the eau de perfumes for men that they sell are very nice, but, the longevity is very poor, maybe couple of hours tops, ( on me anyway ). I've bought copy aftershaves from Lidl before now, and they last a lot longer. Just not as much choice.

I ordered 5 perfumes, they were well packaged and arrived in a very timely manner (the website indicated that there may a delay as it was a busy period).

Worst service I’ve ever had anywhere

I purchased two bottles of Milton Lloyd America Night and what I was sent is expired. The manufacture date on the boxes and bottles is 25/09/18 and the expiration date is 25/09/23. I approached their “customer service” and would like to share the whole conversation with you…

WONT EVER BUY FROM THIS COMPANY AGAIN ordered 3 wishes blue perfume cost me £22- should be blue liquid with star cap should smell light and florally- what I received was dark green liquid with crystal cap
smells heavy and musky although round bottle with wishes written on contacted
supplier who deleted 2
of my emails and said it is correct obviously not going to help
