Don’t use this site or the booking link to this site for the Salisbury Arms on Dalkeith Road, Edinburgh

Tried to book a table through this service today. Had to give my card details to do it, which I thought was odd, as the booking link under the Salisbury Arms in Dalkeith Road took us to this site. I thought I was booking directly with the pub.
Turns out the payment for 1p is taken before a regular subscription payment it taken.
Absolutely not worth it as we did not hear anything and ended up going into the pub to book the table ourselves.
This is just a scam. Having looked at other reviews, reports of £69 being taken from accounts at later dates and similar experiences to mine.
To be fair tho, I was able to cancel the subscription via the online chat box as soon as I realised. This is the only reason I have given one star- otherwise it would be starless.
