What brilliant service!
My exhaust suddenly made a dreadful noise after hitting a pothole. I saw that it was hanging off and I wasn't sure if it had blown, it sounded awful. I was in Sandy and asked if anyone could recommend a garage that would help me. Klause Autos I was told without hesitation. I took my noisy little car straight there. They were fantastic. The lovely guy checked the car over, he said it wasn't blown and I didn't need a new exhaust, just some welding, and if I could leave it with him, he'd get it fixed that day. Within 2 hours, he'd phoned to say it was fixed and the cost was £36 amazing! He'd welded the broken part and I was good to go. Fantastic service, lovely polite staff, I'd just turned up, no booking and they fixed it. I will definitely use them again and can recommend them.

10/10. Booked an MOT & service with car collection. They even gave me a discount as I hadn't driven far enough for the spark plugs to need replacing.

Down to earth yet professional service from Krause Autos as usual. I always take my car and make sure the family take theirs to them too. Always willing to help, offer advice and always looking to give you the best value. Nothing is ever too difficult for them. The truest example of putting the customers interests first.

We recently bought a used car from a garage, which came with warranty.

Just for peace of mind, we booked it in with Krause Autos to go over it with a fine tooth comb.

These guys are amazing; I would go as far as to say the best garage we have ever used, in terms of honesty, professionalism and their customer service.

Used Krause Autos, via AA Smart Care, to replace a noisy timing chain. Both organisations were efficient and kept me informed at all stages. All of the staff I dealt with at Krause were friendly and helpful. I hope I won't need a repair again but if I do Krause Autos will get the work.

I read the reviews and decided to give them a try after poor servicing from other garages. My car is running better now than it has for a long time. I will definitely return for my next service.

Really impressed by the service at Krause Autos. I’ve spoken with Jim on the two occasions I’ve used this company so far, and he has been incredibly helpful and accommodating in finding the most cost effective solution for my car issues. From my experience I have found them honest, fairly priced, reliable and I highly recommend using them.

We needed a clutch replacement on our Renault Captur and an MOT. We received many varying quotes, including some cheaper, but decided to go with Krause as I felt they were the most knowledgable and trustworthy. They collected and returned our car at no additional cost and they even fixed our headlight free of charge! We were nervous to hand our car off to a mechanic without first visiting their premises but it all went without a hitch. We are very happy with the service. Our car now “feels healthy” and very nippy. We will certainly use them again 😁 Thanks!

Who writes these reports?
Not criticising the workmanship. Never got that far!
But no phone call in connection to the collection of our car. When I did ring after sitting here for the 2 hour period ,I was told they would ring me back .
They didn’t!
When the person from Servicing Stop contacted me about had my collection gone smoothly?
He said I will get right on to it now.
20 mins later he rang me back to say that their mot technician had not come in . ( why didn’t tell me when I rang earlier? ) . Cant be done today now!
Nevermind get a technician get somebody to arrange your bookings and customer service!

When I rang you this morning , you didn’t need the booking number as you told me yes it’s a mazda ?.???
Servicing Stop told me you had no mot technician ?
People off sick , it happens!
But it was lack of customer service that got me.

Honest view provided in a recent engine check and despite it not being great news, the guys were thoroughly helpful and informative to let me know my options.

Someone reversed into my Car, Krause were excellent fast service Great job looks like new, Even offered collection a d Delivery. Highly Recommend.

Sorry this is not a five-star review, but the fault lies as much with Servicing Stop (who have a huge record of bad reviews) as much as Krause. I had my car serviced by them some weeks ago through Servicing Stop for an Interim Service (£81.36 inc. VAT) and MOT (£18.00). Started off OK when the car was collected more or less on time, then was phoned to be told there needed to be more work done on top of the basic Interim service.
This is apparently a common Servicing Stop practice and to be fair, some of it is flagged on the ‘Welcome’ page – “minimum environmental surcharge fee of £7.99 + VAT, fluid top up if required (which it always is of course) at a one-off fee of £5.99 + VAT.”
However, the caller rattled off a list of recommended additional work and prices, most of which I agreed to as follows without taking it all in.
Long life oil – Manufacturer’s recommendation 29.99
Renew brake fluid – Manufacturer’s mileage recommendation 119.86
Auxiliary drive belt – Manufacturer’s mileage recommendation 291.24
Fuel treatment – Manufacturer’s recommendation 77.54
Engine flush - Manufacturer’s mileage recommendation 83.54
Remove & refit rear lamp bulb – known fault 18.29
Parking brake – contentious; all that was needed was a new cap - £6.0 on ebay. 143.38
Final Total 887.86 !!!
Another bad practice by Servicing Stop is to e-mail an “Interim Service Schedule” with all boxes pre-ticked, which is nothing less than stupid, because it gives no reassurance that all the items have been covered. Furthermore, there are boxes on the form to report the condition of tyres and brakes, but these are not completed, and a request to Krause for the information met with a deafening silence.
Having paid the bill, I was asked whether, because the driver was collecting another car in the area, he could return the car the following day, also a practice not unknown to Servicing Stop. When he did, (well after 10.am, the cut-off time for another collection) he was very cagey about where he was going next. Straight back to the garage was my bet.

Just taken my car for an MOT at Krause Autos Ltd. They were fantastic. Courteous, efficient and good value. I was so impressed that I booked in my next service before I left their workshop. Well done all the team at Krause Autos and a big thank you.

Superb service from Chris and the team. Had big emergency with engine and they fitted me into a busy week, diagnosed the issue, kept me up to date and only billed me for the part and small amount of labour which came in under the potential cost quoted in calls. Explained what had happened and what to watch out for in future. Car now running well. So impressed.
