Awful Experience - Terrible Company
I've had a terrible experience with Lions Removals (21/11/2024).
I booked them for 2 hours costing £150, to move some bedroom furniture from my Mums house to my house, approximately 3 miles away.
I paid a £75 deposit on booking and the balance of £75 was due on the day.
They turned up and loaded the van, within about 30 minutes, and drove to my house.
When they arrived at my house the Supervisor said that I needed to pay the balance immediately. He said that the balance was £150.
I calmly explained that the balance was £75. The Supervisor became very intimidating and threatening. He said that if I didn't pay the £150 immediately, all of the furniture would be taken away and put into storage.
I felt completely under duress and had no alternative but to pay the £150 he demanded.
One wardrobe was left in my hallway downstairs, because he said that it could not be carried upstairs. The other wardrobe was taken apart and left in pieces, when it had initially been a complete wardrobe.
This is not a professional company and it would appear that this is the way that they always operate.
Please do not make the mistake of using this company.
This is the worst company that I have ever had the misfortune of using. Avoid at all cost!
