Mums Funeral Flowers Gone

I'm gutted to find out about Magenta Flowers! I sent off mum's flowers from her funeral! Hoping to get them put in resin in tea light holders, I'm saddened that I've no reminder of mum now plus £160 out of pocket. How cruel is that, I emailed them on numerous occasions throughout and each response given was, all well your order is next on our list.....the loss of my money is bad enough but the loss of my mums flowers is heart breaking! I've been chasing then since February 2022

I’m gutted absolutely gutted

I’m gutted absolutely gutted. I sent my wedding flowers off October 2021. Disgusting that they made no effort to contact customers especially those who were waiting on orders! 😡 I’m so upset and angry! I hope Safiyya and her husband don’t have any more businesses in the future!

Complete sham company - shame on directors (both current & previous)

Fair to say I follow many of the below reviews in that I have lost over £250 for precious wedding flowers sent to this company before being told, without prior warning, that the company had ceased trading and now linked to Neville TAYLOR of Mad Deals Ltd. Such a shame given a company, with such high reported expectations (media reporting suggesting over £1.5m turnover for 2023), is then sold, reincorporated and then has only £1 assets listed in company accounts. Almost as if there's something very off....

Devastated to say the least

I placed an order with Magenta Flowers for the £250 resin chess set, and sent my wedding bouquet to the address given. Much like a lot of other people on here, I’ve been left without my beautiful flowers, and £250 down. I only realised the company applied to strike off, without a word to any of their outstanding customers. Devastated to say the least.

Devastating

So this company hasn’t ceased to trade, the Director has applied for it to be struck off (dissolved). However Companies House can refuse to accept the application if there are creditors or legal action to be taken, I’ve just found out about Magenta and seen that my payment was taken by Mad Deals, so I smell a rat! I’m not sure if we’ll be in time to stop the application for strike off but worth emailing Companies House anyway. If you paid by credit card or PayPal then raise a dispute immediately.

Happy to help

Hi everyone.
I’ve helped a couple of brides who have managed to get their flowers back by preserving their reclaimed flowers so they finally have something to keep. Happy to help anyone else who manages to get theirs.
I recommend joining the Magenta Customer Facebook group and asking your bank for reclaiming funds - others have been successful. Be persistent, there are flowers still at their offices!
Good luck. (JoanyBow Designs)x

Not good news!

Hello! I’ve just seen all these reviews about Magenta flowers!!! Omg I sent my flowers off in July 2022!! And I thought I would check on the progress… now I’ve seen everyone said they have collapsed! I spent so much money on the flower resin too! This is so sad and annoying! Why didn’t they get in touch with the people that had already had their flowers sent to them! I’m so angry. Please can anyone help?

Heartbroken

Heartbroken
I sent my daughters wedding flowers to Magenta Flowers to be dried, put in a rectangle box and set in resin. In Feb 2022 I checked in sept on how things are going and was told the flowers were still drying . My heart sank when I checked again in Jan this year. The company has ceased trading. I wrote to Mr Taylor but not had any response back. The website doesn’t work anymore; it is just a holding screen. I paid via paypal so not a chance of getting any money back. I do hope that i can get the flowers back. Heartbreaking

How could you do this

I sent my daughters wedding flowers to Magenta Flowers to be dried, put in a shadow box and some set in resin. I November 2022 I was going to check up on how things are going. Well, my heart sank to the bottom. The company has ceased trading. I wrote to Mr Taylor but not had any response back. The website doesn’t work anymore; it is just a holding screen. I contacted my bank but not holding my breath as people in the same position have been told that this company is challenging the chargeback etc. How can something that was meant to be so nice turn into something of this complete nightmare? I do hope that i can get the flowers back as there are people at the site sorting through the mess. Heartbreaking

If you paid on a credit card, not all lost (hopefully!)

If you paid on a credit card, remember the credit card company are jointly liable. Remember to include evidence of payment, narrative and rationale behind the delay in making a claim - else they may deny (the drying process took 6-12 months).

Not going to help with sentimental loss, but worth considering.

Fiancés grandads funeral flower for button hole

Sent my fiancés grandads funeral flower away to magenta to be dried and preserved so he could have it as his button hole on our wedding as a way of having his grandad with us on our day.
Sent the rose in September 2022, just emailed for an update to find they are no longer trading and the address they give is wrong.
Absolutely disgusting! It’s not the money that upsets me it is the sentiment that has been lost.

Devastated

Sent my wedding flowers to magenta flowers in February 22 having placed an order for £360. By September I hadn’t received any update so I sent follow up emails to chase progress, was advised that the process would take 6-12 months in total. Emailed again today only to receive an automatic response saying that they have ceased trading. I am absolutely devastated

Heartbroken 💔

Heartbroken that this company have my son’s funeral flowers and now they’ve closed down. Unfortunately my bank and PayPal didn’t want to know so I’ve also lost the £450 I paid them upfront. How disgusting that they have done this to so many people. They should be arrested for fraud. How can they live with themselves 💔💔💔

The lowest of the low!!!!

Almost a year since my dad passed which means almost a year since I paid a substantial amount of money to have his funeral flowers preserved. Order confirmation back then stated 6-12 months to complete orders due to the process of drying flowers. Have just found out the owners have disappeared without a trace leaving hundreds of orders unaccounted for. The business shut down, the website no longer exists, funeral flowers, wedding flowers, breast milk all gone! How they can do this to people I have no idea.

Absolutely disgusting!

Total shambles! Ordered resin letters made from my wedding Bouquet in June 2022. Had confirmation of receipt and order, they have now ceased trading and their website has disappeared! There are over 600 people on a group on Facebook called Magenta Flowers Customers. We ard all trying to trace our items or get our money back. They may be able to help, can't promise though, its worth joining!
