Left in the dark by the company

Left in the dark by the company, and like many I’m without my order and my flowers sent back in September 2021. Like everyone else

Like everyone else we are extremely disappointed.

Paid over £200 last year and gave them our flowers last October.
Kept in contact until Feb this year, although they told us our item was close to being finished

Now nothing.

Scum.

FOR ANYONE TRYING TO GET IN TOUCH WITH…

FOR ANYONE TRYING TO GET IN TOUCH WITH MAGENTA FLOWERS SINCE DISCOVERING THEY'RE NO LONGER TRADING

Do not waste your time. I did as I was told and sent a letter to the address on the website to chase an order from June... Here is the reply I received:

Dear Stacey,

Further to your recent letter I am writing to clarify the position
in respect of your order.

On 13th October 2022, the company was sold and immediately
ceased to trade. When the company was purchased there
where no assets or bank accounts transferred and the
company is insolvent.

The Company has no means to fulfil any order commitments
and it is anticipated that it will be placed into insolvency at
some stage in the near future. We apologise for any
inconvenience this may have caused.

I hope this email clarifies the company position.

Regards,

Rachael Ogunjimi

Complete lack of sympathy. Clearly absolutely no inclination to even look to see if our order is sitting around somewhere (which I know it is, because we received a text from the company in July when they were putting our order together).

Absolutely fuming and don't really know what to do now. £120 down the drain and priceless wedding flowers lost forever.

Hope Magenta see all these reviews, but judging from the response I received I don't imagine they care.

I sent my nans funeral flowers January…

I sent my nans funeral flowers January 2022 I spent £1700 on paper weighs and not received them… I’ve emailed and rang and even had a moody email back when I complained in august!!!

the money loss is horrible but what is worse is losing the flowers, most of our family couldn’t come due to covid restrictions in a different country… I don’t even have words. I really don’t.

Where is my order ?

So it looks like I have been scammed! Sent wedding flowers back in May 2022 and am still waiting for my order. When I tried to get in contact I found out the company has ceased trading. I have called, left txts, voicemails, emails, whatapp messages, Instagram messages and written however no one ever gets back in contact. It’s not the money loss, it’s the fact that I have lost my irreplaceable wedding flowers.

Please everyone email companies house…

Please everyone email companies house to dispute the dissolving of Magenta Flowers aka Mad Deals Ltd enquiries @ companies house . Gov . Uk
I personally placed an order in December 2021 after my mums funeral for a total of £420 for keep sake items for my children who adored my mum and my sister and aunt. What has happened to all of our flowers 😡 we can’t let these people get away with this. Their previous business address was 14 Arbuthnot Lane Bexley London DA5 1EQ if anyone lives local and would like to go knock on their door. Next time I’m in the area I certainly will be. Also if you want to look up the previous owner on Facebook her name is Sef Benson she will just block you when you send a message what a complete scumbag she and her husband are!!

After some more digging Sef Benson and her husband Adam are still trading with different companies but from the same address 14 Arbuthnot lane. One is Pets finest 31 Normandy way Erith and another is Big Spark media. I do hope either Sef or Adam are reading this because you are not getting away with this Scott free no chance I’ll see you soon

Please don’t use this company

I know someone below has said the same but I also have someone else’s order. I have no idea how I to prove it’s your order but it wouldn’t have been a cheap one. Please comment below if you ordered a couple of afternoon tea sets and any e mails or photos of your flowers and I will try and work it out. I’ve written a letter. Sent over two weeks ago with no response. I feel really helpless and hopeless about getting either my money or my flowers back and I’m genuinely heartbroken. We had a super small wedding with very few keepsakes and this was an extravagant expense for us to keep a small part of our wedding. I just hope the new owners take over the business and complete our orders. I may send a tracked/signed for letter next to ensure it’s received. Wedding was 09/09, sent 11/09.

I am gutted as all of us are

I am gutted as all of us are , I send my daughters Wedding flowers off in June. I tried to Track them in October and got a reply stating that they are closed and back on the 24th October
Just emailed again today to chase and informed they are no longer trading ? Not responding to emails either which is strange as thought that would be easier for them ?
What happened to all our flowers ? Do you think that they will still be there ?
I just can’t believe this has happened
So upset

Irreplaceable flowers not received

My beautiful wedding flowers which I sent over a year ago still have not arrived. When you send something so special and so sentimental to a company, you are trusting them to not only produce the goods you paid for but to also respect you through transparent and regular contact and to look after your memories. Magenta has failed on all accounts. I have been whatsapping, emailing, Instagram messaging and Facebook messaging. My heart breaks for all of us. These items are irreplaceable. Absolutely devastated.

Unprofessional and unreachable

I am so upset that this company have "ceased trading" and been so unprofessional with their customers. I went on their website to track my order as it has been the six months stated only to find they don't exist anymore! I have lost my bridal flowers and have cried so much this evening. It isn't even about the money, I will never get those flowers back! I am going to write to them as stated on their website but I have little hope of getting a reply as there is no way to track or follow up. What company doesn't use email to communicate with their customers in a situation like this!?

I have put "ceased trading" in quotation marks as you can still place orders on their website!!

I have emailed Companies House to object to the gazette notice for voluntary strike off with my invoice as evidence.

Scammy company

Sent my flowers last year, had many manh excuses from the company. Finally got some sneak peak photos but they didn't look like my flowers. Then the company closed.

It's been taken over by nev.taylor67[at]gmail.com. his company buys struggling businesses. I've emailed him a few times but after his initial email he's ignored me. Maybe other brides will have more luck if they email....

I've submitted a section 75 with my credit card company and will be looking at small claims and objecting to the winding up of the company.

All these reviews make me so sad

All these reviews make me so sad. I'm in the same boat. I was married in October 2021 and sent off bouquet for preservation. I've had excuse after excuse from the company for their delays and now they've disappeared without a trace. No explanation or apology from the company. It's not about the money, they have my flowers which hold such a sentimental value and they cannot be replaced. I will write to them to see if I can get them back but I don't hold much hope.

Shameful and we need to go legal

Sent my wedding bouquet in August. Had confirmation they received it- and my money taken.
Now to find our they are voluntarily dissolving the company?!
With no warning or refund or attempt to try and get my flowers back to me?
Are my flowers just sat in some resin somewhere or was this a scam all along?
I have spoken to trading standards and sent an email objection to the dissolving of the company with companies House today. I will try and claim a section 75 with my credit card.
However I am so sad that such personal items people specifically paid to save in memory have been turfed and discarded while the sleazy company tries to disappear. Shameful and sad.

I also want my money back.

I echo what everyone has said…

Can't echo what everyone has said enough. I sent my flowers in early October 2021, and received minimal updates, now to find out the company has ceased trading. It shows a shocking disregard for the time and money people have spent getting their flowers to the company (not to mention the sentimental value of getting the product you ordered). We want answers Magenta.

Wedding bouquet

Sent my wedding bouquet in October 2021 and ordered over £300 worth of products. Chased my order numerous times to be told there were resin shortages and covid delays.
Got an email in August saying that my products were being created and asking to incorporate the ribbon from my bouquet.
Chased again last week to find out the company has changed hands, their Facebook page has been removed and now their website say they have ceased trading!?
All I want are my products that I ordered. My flowers were so important to me on my wedding day and now I feel I'm unlikely to get anything.
I tried messaging Adam Riyadh on Facebook and he has blocked me.
I feel so utterly let down by a company that I had spent so much time researching before I ordered.

Sentimental funeral flowers lost!!

I sent off flowers from my mums funeral a year ago, last i heard they were almost finished which was in Sept and now i find out they have ceased trading!!!

This is absolutely devastating and very upsetting to have lost something i trusted this company with. I want the flowers back or at least the product that they told me was basically finished.
