I can't believe this!

I trusted this company with ALL of my wedding flowers... My bridal bouquet, all the men's button holes, bridesmaid bouquets, table decs, ceremony flowers... EVERYTHING, and for what?

I've just chased them up as I sent my flowers off at the end of Feb 2022 and haven't received an update since beginning of August 2022. Then I receive the automated email reply today saying they've ceased trading?! This is appalling customer service. Not only are you leaving people in the lurch and keeping their money but breaking people's hearts in the process... shameful.

These are sentimental items that we want to preserve forever. I did so much research prior to sending my flowers off, your reviews were pretty good and it all seemed legit but I'm filled with regret. To think I could've pressed my flowers myself, dried them, be £400 better off and still have them as a memory but now they've probably been thrown away. It is utterly devastating.

I've reached out on Instagram and messaged Marie who was my customer support contact but had no response. Will definitely look into writing to them as instructed but like others have said, the address looks dodgy... it's also nearly 200 miles from their HQ address in Bexley... go figure!

Heart-breaking.

Update- Dec 22- No response from any communication, including written letter

Gutted I trusted this company

I am absolutely gutted that I sent my wedding flowers to this company!

I sent them on 10th October 21 and received nothing after chasing number of times and been given excuse after excuse! I have seen they have ceased trading, all I want is my flowers back so I can try and get someone else to create what I wanted.

How can a company be so awful with peoples sentimental items I will never know.

Magenta Flowers / trading standards/ companies house and bank chargeback…

So today I have called trading standards, done a charge back with my bank and contacted companies house. The company secretary of magenta flowers, saffiya filed a ds01 to dissolve the company yesterday the 3nov22. This means from next Tuesday it will be in the London gazette for 2 months and we can object as money and flowers are held for an unreasonable amount of time without products being delivered. Also if ownership has transferred to Neville as suggested, we should have been notified. One year is too long to wait for items and now they are trying to vanish! The more objections they get against them the better for our case! I shall continue to post in many channels in hope disgruntled magenta flower customers see what they can do about this situation! I shall keep you posted!!

Ps. The address we have been told to write to is a company called ghost mail limited ??!!!??? Sounds dodgy if you ask me but will write anyway!

Ceased Trading- They have my Bridal Bouquet

Having got married in June 22, i paid for my flowers to be preserved in a bell jar and my husband button hole to be placed in a resin hexagon and a love heart keyring costing nearly £500 pounds. I wanted these as keep sakes so i could look at my wedding flowers everyday... I am absolutely gutted to hear the company has ceased trading but annoyed that i wasn't informed but had to find out by an automatic response from an email. This wasn't just a bouquet of flowers but memories of my beautiful day, i have written to them as suggested on the website but will be devasted if i don't get these back surely they know these are special items that have memories attached to them, only just stopped crying.

Received an email saying the company is insolvent.

I still want to know where my wedding flowers are! i emailed back asking this.

Very Poor Customer Experience

I was going to wait till I had received the product before I wrote this review, but now have serious doubts as to whether we will actually receive the item we paid over £100 for.

The flowers were sent to Magenta and receipt acknowledged on 5 October 2021. At the time the wait was stated on their website as being a maximum of six months.

Thirteen months later and we are still waiting. Communication has been non existent. I have had to do the chasing every few months to find out progress.

Having sent the latest email I received an automated email from someone stating they were the new owner of the company, also saying that it might take a while for him and his team to get up to speed so yet more delays!

Google searches say the company is temporarily closed and their Facebook page has been removed.

What is really annoying is that from the reviews some customers seem to have received their items even after sending in flowers after us. I did query this before and got some reply that they were one offs as the customers were immigrating. I didn’t really believe that at the time but had no evidence to suggest otherwise.

This latest news about change of ownership is typical of the lack of communication at this company to its customers. Should we not have received an email from the old owners telling us about this and reassuring us that we will still receive our items but no nothing.

I really wish I had never got involved with this company and trusted them with the flowers. As I said earlier I doubt we will see anything back,

Small update - I have entered a dispute request with my credit card company. I have also noticed that the Companies House listing for Magenta Flowes states that the first Gazette Notice for Voluntary Strike off should be available on 15 November. As another reviewer says it would be worth objecting - I intend too do so once the notice is published. I shall also write to the new owner although not really expecting any joy on that front.

Disrespectful/Avoid

Can’t give 0 stars so have to go with 1!!!
Got married 3rd Sept 2022…paid for my bouquet to be preserved in a heart which was £80 odd…sent off my bouquet 5th Sept to be preserved and put in a heart along with a pendant of my late Mother in Law who passed away suddenly Jan 2022.
They suggested for the next size heart up to fit the pendant in so went long with it and paid £30 odd extra.
17th Oct I received a parcel from them with my pendant in, no explanation and no sign of heart???
Ever since 17th Oct…I have been trying to get hold of them…2 different email addresses…2 different contact numbers…go straight to voicemail…I’ve left numerous answerphone messages and whatsapped these numbers and getting no where. Don’t know where else to turn.
I also bought with a gift card from my friend so don’t think it’s as easy raising a card dispute with bank.
No respect whatsoever…people are getting these done as a keepsake as it’s sentimental and they have the audacity to treat people like this!!!
It’s disgusting!
If you’re business isn’t going g the way you expected it to…customer era still deserve an explanation not just to be left in lurch!!!
Avoid like the plague!!!

Don’t do it

I only gave 1 because I can’t give lower. So disappointed. We got married October 2021, I received my flowers October 2022. They look nothing like the website, they’re awful. I can’t display it in my home. I know the flowers would’ve discoloured a bit but they just look dead. There’s dents in the pyramid (which I paid extra for because they said they would look better in the bigger pyramid). Nothing like the photos on their website. The necklace has more dead flowers in and the keyring looks like clippings of grass. They sent the flowers back they didn’t use but they’re also dead so can’t do anything with them. I’m gutted, I wish I’d just kept my flowers because what I got back isn’t worth the money we paid. I’ve emailed the company but they’re temporarily closed and they’re Facebook page seems to have disappeared.

Bouquet preservation

What an amazing company . I sent my bouquet to be made into a resin heart that arrived yesterday - it is so very beautiful and gives us a permanent reminder of our special day . The communication with the company was excellent and they gave me updates at every stage of the process . When they received my bouquet they showed me what the end product would look like which I was glad they did as this led to my upgrading my order so that more of my flowers could be reserved in the resin heart .
When the heart arrived it was beautifully and carefully packaged with a personalised note and sweets .
I would definitely recommend this company if you want a stunning reminder of your special day - I am so glad we found them !
