Delightful needles

I ordered canvas needles and a pincushion from Studio Masachuka and they arrived quickly and packaged neatly. The needles are ideal for making pom poms from fur fabric; they are the only ones I have successfully used. They are so sharp and smooth. And the pin cushion is likewise delightful.

Great range of products

A great range of products that are different to those available elsewhere else. The handsewing needles are very nice. The service and delivery were fine too, and I'll be buying from here again.

Sashiko needles and thread….

Thank you Studio Masachuka for the very prompt delivery. I am very happy with the Sashiko Needles and thread.
They are made in Japan and therefore I know good quality. Now I look forward to learning the art of sashiko. I shall be recommending Studio Masachuka to others.

I love this mask!

I love this mask. I bought one right at the beginning of lockdown just for its looks, but found it so much more that just elegant. When I lost it I had to buy another, so I bought two just in case.... It is stylish, with clever use of the print design to look attractive whether folded or expanded, I can remove the wire nose-shaping bit to wash the mask and I love that I could add a filter if I wished. Several people have asked where I bought it.

High quality tailoring - elegant summer jacket

The jacket has arrived - I have a 42 inch chest. The stitching is robust and the materials are of quality linen. It looks great with trousers or shorts, provided you roll up your shirt sleeves. The material is breathable in hot weather, and serves as an excellent windbreaker on milder days. Very pleased this was made in London - it was interesting to note the rounded shoulders more typical of western jackets than the more boxy shoulders of Japanese tradition, and I appreciate how well the fusion works. The lapels fall eligantly - but I am nervous to dress it up with a broach or badge for fear of damaging them!

I was struck by the versatility of the kimono jacket when I saw it and despite the price I decided to buy it. I have absolutely no regrets. It’s beautifully made and can be worn casually or dressed up. It’s perfect for chilly evenings too. I’m very happy to recommend this item.
