Do not buy from this company! Stay away!!

I've purchased jeans from Messina multiple times and their sizing is always so accurate that I now only buy and trust jeans from them! So many labels don't actually put accurate waist, length, rise details when you buy brand new, the team at Messina really know their stuff cause they'll list the sizing based on their assessment rather than what it says on the label, and every pair of jeans I've bought fit like a dream! I'm also speaking on behalf other people I've bought jeans for. The fact that they're affordable and secondhand in great condition is an added bonus as we're keeping these clothes in circulation and out of landfills, I would highly recommend!

Bought a top big stain

Items were not in great condition at all. Out of principle I returned and only received a refund for less than £2 when the item total was £24. I would never purchase from here again or recommend.

Generally you’re going to get a great bargain. Read about the condition before you make the purchase it’s usually very accurate.

Ordered from here for the first time, despite the mixed reviews. All 3 items arrived within the stipulated delivery times, and also as described. Can't fault my order. Will use in the future.

Well were do i start twice wrong size levi jeans so am left out of pocket,with no jeans,really don't bother with this useless company ,absolutely rubbish,,,

Great for UK buyers. Quick standard delivery, came the next week. Clothes are as described, great quality and the right size. I'll probably be ordering again!

p.s. here's a random comment to distinguish this from AI generated content. I found this seller looking for knitted sweaters like one I've come to love recently from a vintage store in Leeds. I put an image of the sweater in search results to guide the search. Messina Hembry had the exact same sweater, but in BLUE (the original sweater was grey/brown) and much better kept! I had to buy it and no regrets so far. It looks great.

Purchased vintage clothes from the Messina Henbury website which claims to use the Royal Mail as its deliveries provider. Completely fraudulent information as my delivery was sent send via Amazon Shipping. The courier left it in the street and it was subsequently stolen.

Ordered something for a friend and it arrived fine, quite quickly and for very cheap total. First time using it so I presume to have been quite lucky.

Tracking was available on the parcel and it was dispatched within 2 days, taking a further 2 days to arrive. No complaints there.

Reading other reviews beforehand it seems folks mention stuff about the return policy - there is a clear one with an address but not tested myself. Other point is custom fees which, to be expressingly clear, do not apply in the UK but Europe (in the fine print it says you expect them).

Overall rather satisfied.

Placed an order, for next day delivery, this was on 24th April, it's now the 26th and apparently my delivery won't arrive until 1st May, I assume it's the courier at fault, but they are engaged by the retailer, so maybe they should look into that. In their defence, they did refund my delivery charge and offer a discount, but be aware.

I’ve been trying to return some items (nothing wrong with them just wrong fit) however the return address on their website DOES NOT EXIST meaning the post office or any delivery service won’t accept it as a recorded delivery. My husband and I have tried emailing, using the messaging system, called and left several voicemails but no one is getting back to us. It’s a shame because otherwise I would have given them 5 stars.

Bought 110 euro worth of stuff only for customs to demand an extra 30 just to deliver it? Why was i not made aware there would be extra costs before hand straight fkin illegal

I had to pay 30 euros for customs in Germany. It says this somewhere in their small print, but there is no indication of it in the normal purchase process.

got two desigual shirts from here and they arrived super quick!! was a small stain on one of them but as expected from a second hand shop :).

When ever I try a new website I make one small order. and then a slightly larger order before I decided whether to use the site or not. 1st item was an Addidas track suit top for my daughter. That turned up, great shape happy with that. 2nd order, Levi Jeans - Great happy with those, Ralf Lauren Polo shirt - Great, happy with that. Addidas tracksuit top - Awful. Multiple stains and had obviously not been quality checked. A company is only as good as its returns policy - There is no automated response for returns, I have messaged them and will have to wait Monday for a response as to the next steps and returns are at my cost. The idea of the site is fine. I have bought 4 items with a 75% hit rate. I have seen other people have had the same issue. It appears tracksuits tops which I guess will the most popular amongst its items appears to be an issue they need to focus on as the quality control isn't there yet. I hope they exceed, as I like the idea. Dependening on how they respond to my query on Monday will decided whether, that was a one off and I will accept that or their quality isn't there yet and I wont purchase from them again.

I orderes two trackjackets even though the prices are for vintage clothing in my opinion to high. I also forgot that because Britain is no longer EU member that i had to pay an additionol tax when i got the package. The package also came half way opened, which was due to bad packaging. But the one reason you shouldnt buy there is because i got multiple dark stains (like coffee stains) in the front middle and on the upper back of my trackjackets. The stains were obviously not visible even when I took a second look now at the product photo.
It really was misleading.

Was great condition looks brand new delivery few days great company UK to be honnest though they got pretty expensive for second hand clothes someone needs to tell them most things shop price brand new can be cheeper than here

Would absolutely reccomend. Great prices with lots of offers and the clothes are in good quality if they say they are, Clothes match the pictures too.

The item I purchased was not what I expected (it was called a jumper or sweater but it was not knitted - more of a tee shirt material). I had to return it at my cost, and I sent it tracked as suggested. The refund I got was minus the postage I had paid for the original item (nearly £4). When you add this to the cost of returning it, I have lost around £8. I'm sure it's a great site if you keep what you buy, but if you have to send it back, you will be out of pocket.
