At first I thought the hour would feel long and awkward but my therapist has made me feel comfortable opening up. I like how she goes based on what I may need that week or continue on from last sessio... See more

My brother was charged almost $200 even though he has insurance, and they never followed through with any support. This shouldn’t happen. Make sure you look into this place before signing up.

This experience was great because I feel like it's really helping me and am kinda seeing improvement in myself.I also feel like they treat me right.

The company/website overall is great so far. The booking system is easy and I get text and email reminders before my appointment.
The main reason the review is 5 stars is my therapist. She is great and gives me the tools I need to work on everything I am wanting to work on for myself.

Absolutely laughable tech competency and customer service. Their booking site never worked properly. They never responded to emails about this issue. When someone finally called to follow up about why I hadn't booked an appointment, I was finally able to get scheduled and even the rep ON THE PHONE had trouble using their OWN SITE to book me. Things just got worse from there. They sent me intake forms from two different brands (Mood and Headway, which apparently are the same thing but they never told me that so how would I know). The first set, from Mood, had the correct information, so I filled them out. The second set, from Headway, was for a different therapist I was never scheduled to see. Which therapist was I supposed to actually see? Which platform was I actually referred to (Mood of Headway)? And which forms should I have actually filled out? I have no idea. Apparently I didn't fill out the right forms (I ignored the second set since I'd never heard of Headway or the other therapist and reasonably assumed it was a mistake/scam). Did Mood ever follow up? No. Instead, I get to the day of my appointment and the zoom link doesn't work. I email them, only to find out they canceled my appointment due to lack of "Payment Information". Not only did they never tell me I needed to add payment information, they also NEVER told me the appointment was canceled. In fact, looking back at all their communication with me, no information on payment, how to make an account to submit that payment, or really any housekeeping information was provided. All I got was incessant sales emails and basic health history form. I would have provided payment information if they at ANY POINT in this whole process told me I needed to or how to do that. Instead, I rearranged my whole day and then panicked thinking I had done something wrong because they couldn't communicate basic information. They claimed their emails didn't "get to me" but somehow I got 5 or 6 of their sales/marketing emails just fine. Based on my experience, it's pretty clear Mood (and Headway) are primarily tech sales platforms. Their goal is to convert people into profit, the mental health services (and the platform they built to supposedly facilitate that) are secondary concerns and it shows. I'm sure the therapists who work through that platform are fine, but it's not worth the hassle of dealing with a tech company that can't do the most basic parts of it's job. Stay away. If you need help finding a therapist, talk to the local hospital systems in your area or friends and family, but do not let anyone refer you out to this service.

I can’t emphasize how hard it was for me to take the step to start therapy as a young man. However, I did and after the first appointment I was glad I did and very optimistic after the first assessment/appointment went well and I felt heard for the first time in my life. Unfortunately I missed my following appointment due to my work schedule, and while attempting to reschedule my next appointment, I was told and shown through a phone call and a link, that there were no appointments or providers available for me? The link showed me two providers who were available and when I clicked each it said “no appointments available” I don’t understand how, but that’s my only gripe as I wasn’t able to get too far with Mood Health. It is what it is tho, I appreciate you guys for trying to help regardless.

No appointments available.
It's been 3.5 months since I have had my initial appointment and I have yet to see any available appointments to make to begin my therapy journey.

Felt like the system is overloaded so I got placed with some random lady. She wasn’t great she made me feel really bad about myself and would hyper focus in on my medications and repeating what I said back to me over and over again. I feel much much worse for it and my mental state is worse than ever.

Mood Health is amazing. As soon as my psychiatrist recommended me to the program I received a call from a very helpful and professional representative. Whenever I have any questions, the same person responds almost immediately with accurate and helpful responses. The system is extremely user friendly as they always send emails and text messages, as well as reminders, and to provide telehealth links for your sessions . I highly recommend Mood Health as they have a great list of providers.

I love my therapist. She is great and very helpful. However, I’m not a fan of having to pay a copay AND a monthly fee.

This is my first time receiving assistance for my mental health and Mood Health has made it easy and affordable. My therapy sessions have been amazing. My therapist is kind and has really helped guide me through managing my anxiety. Being able to meet through zoom and in the comfort of my own home has made the experience even that much more comfortable. I feel like Mood Health genuinely cares about me as a patient. Their customer service is one of a kind. No matter what time it is they respond quickly, helping resolve any issue you may be having. I would highly recommend Mood Health. My experience 10/10!

My experience has been good. Like professionals do, my therapist put me at ease right away. Like any good therapy it’s been like an onion. Peeling away the inhibitions, guilt, sadness.
My meetings with my therapist have been informative. Helping me to work on challenging me to not cling to the status quo.
I believe that everyone should try therapy in their life. It’s a good experience. Know thyself.
