After a year of using Zeller

After a year of using Zeller, the device completely started failing slowly. every few days it would not want to turn on and when it does only for a minute. Now it completely won’t turn on. I have reached out to Zeller and they have issued a replacement but I am now skeptical of the longevity of the device.

Great service and quick turnaround time…

Great service and quick turnaround time for battery replacement. Zero cost for this and will always recommend Zeller for eftpos machines. We own 2. One as a spare, as we know if we drop it and it breaks we have a spare. Also, with the battery dying, the spare was used and no downtime on payments.

I sent the same information 3 times…

I sent the same information 3 times when requested to set up my account. Way too invasive. They wanted promotional material to help " better understand my business".... as if you need to see my branding or business cards to set up a terminal? they wanted a certified copy or my partnership agreement, followed by an online extract of my ASIC registration. Then somehow that wasn't enough!! 5 phone calls later and about 2 hours of messing around. I then had to send through a copy of business insurance to get verified!! I really wished i had gone with square and i had not already bought a terminal. Really don't need this extra added stress when opening a business. The process of setting this up was CLUNKY.

Zeller bank feeds not working and no fix.

Zeller as a platform for taking payments has been ok. However the Zeller bank feeds to Xero have not worked from day 1. Without the bank feeds working completing processing with Zeller has just been time consuming and difficult. The cost benefit of saving dollars in payments processing has been totally lost by the cost and time in manual processing the transactions into Xero.

We contacted Zeller initially for support in January 2024 and immediately we were directed to Xero for support on bank feeds. We lodged a support request with Xero on the 6th of Feb and for two months were unable to get the bank feeds working with Xero.

Xero ultimately referred the case back to Zeller Technical department, and here we are in April and we have not heard from Zeller nor have they fixed the issue.

I cannot recommend this product at all given the extremely poor support and time wasted to get no result. Additionally there are no reports in Zeller to allow the extraction of data and subsequent importation into Xero. The data must be put together manually which is extremely poor in this day and age and shows a lack of understanding of the total process by Zeller.

Zeller is a great platform

Zeller is a great platform. I have used Banks for many years and I can say that their system is more easier to use more detailed and more reliable and the great for a retailers and more importantly less fees. My account manager Declan has been a great help and is always eager to help with any questions I have or problems that I may encounter along the way. I highly recommend you use them in the future for your business. I have found a hundred times better than the big four Banks.

Zeller what a great organisation.

What a great organisation to be doing business with.
Such friendly, caring and professional customer service staff that helped making the transition to a new EFTPOS terminal so easy. The terminal has a large easy to read screen and is more user friendly than any other terminals used in the past.
We highly recommend to anyone using another brand terminal to switch to a Zeller terminal. Anyone contemplating a change, then do it - you will never regret switching.

Amazing Fabulous Excellent!

Amazing! I wish I'd made the switch to zeller from the big bank sooner. No more eftpos fees or monthly rental. Wish I had made the change sooner. I haven't had the need to use their Customer service but was rather shocked when they phoned me to see how things were going! I couldn't even get a human on the phone at the big bank and here's this alternative calling ME to see how things are going?! Their app is super easy to use and love the stats in the app. Highly recommend!

I love Zeller

NAB took over 4 months to set up a new business account and I’m still waiting for cards more than 8 months later. Zeller did it in less than 4 hours, including debit cards available to be used in my wallet. I would only ever use Zeller for all of my business banking now. Their service is exceptional.
