Used to be my go to site.
Not anymore difficult to access without being blocked with a payment being wanted.
Wouldn't mind adverts, but now not worth viewing.

90% of articles on there require multiple subscriptions to be able to read, and before finding this out you are bombarded with ads, cant get any information on your team without paying for it anymore so dont bother wasting your time

NewsNow's business model is now hopelesssly flawed - they are a news aggregator, not providing value-added content that would encourage users to pay for a subscription. But in the drive for subscriptions, they have compromised the platform's functionality, and use ads as an irritant to try to force people to sign up, rather than working out how to use them to monetise the platform successfully.
The bottom line is Google News will provide pretty much the same content for a search term - without the hassle...

Used to be a decent website for ALL football news. Not so long ago they offered a premium payable web site. Not content with the extra income they have now introduced a delay for those who visit the site who do not pay. I email them and they confirmed for users like me there is a delay in getting new sports news. If I could I’d ask a regulator if this can be challenged!

The media outlets that Newsnow promotes articles from are mostly clickbait or subscription based. Newsnow itself just wants you to subscribe too. One of its favoured outlets Metro.co.uk is unreadable with all the side bar ads and video pop ups. (You can't read anything unless you turn off your ad blocker). It's trash just like the Daily Mail site and most of the others who's idea of quality journalism is a joke and little more than cut and paste from other sources. Find your own online news outlets and enjoy them because this is just woeful.

Used to be good but since these new ads it has been very frustrating to use. It gets stuck on the pay ad thing and makes you have to come out to go back in again and guess what? U need to watch the ad again. Wont be using anymore.

Really gone down the waste pipe. Mostly the football reports are just clickbait. Now they are asking for a payment to skip the new "turnstile" suggesting things might be better if one pays a fee. AVOID

In terms of football news, a majority of the sites employ paywalls so it would become quite expensive. Alternatively, such sites want to dump cookies onto the user's computer.

When it comes to football news it is just full of cut and paste nonsense journalism. The rumour mongering is appalling. I don’t know where some journalists get their information from. Opinion is often biased towards certain clubs with their fan bases who try to stir things up to unsettle certain players of rival clubs. You know who you are. It’s a dreadful website. If you want facts and not fiction don’t look here.

I really like the site. I just subscribed to it for a pound. All the news in one place. Can't complain. News aggregator for the world. Useful, dunno what people are complaining about.

Horrible, horrible website. Intrusive ads, low quality submissions, and generally woeful customer service with no transparency. They are the bottom of the barrel of the Internet and run by a bunch of useless clowns.

This site used to be excellent but now it appears to be more about adds and subscriptions than anything else. Sadly it's a site that I will no longer visit.

Used to be the best go to site to follow your team, but comes up way too short these days. Will look for something better, something I have more control over and something that isn't going to keep asking me to subscribe! No effective or efficient way of blocking specific sites just crazy!

The ads are horrific and they have learned to defeat adblockers. Very expensive if you want to pay.

Love the concept, but as a football fan there are several sites I want to block.
For some reason my Email is never recognised so I can never log in to block.
When I try to create account, you already have an account flags up

they censored all russian news sources after 2022

site used to be great since you could quickly and easily see what both sides said in a conflict, especially with less known sites like during the Azerbaijan conflict, it would show you quickly and easily what both parties were saying.

but now we have one of the largest conflict in europe since WW2, and clearly an agenda happened, now the site only wants me to see one side of the story, and as someone who does research this made this site totally useless now.

so i use something else now thank you.

Waste of space, bombarded with adds, more adds=more add blockers =less money...

They are great as a time saver. Ignore the moaners. Ads can be disappeared with a simple click of the cross and I've never ever had any ads problem.Or, Pay a newspaper subscription. I do that too.
