New customers.
Slight chronological changes required to some daily routines to fit Octopus's charge rates, but so far savings over previous Iberdrola bills are enormous.
Cautiously optimistic about possible price revisions after first 12 months, when a further review will follow.

Dealing with Octopus has been a breath of fresh air. I moved from another supplier (Endesa) to Octopus, and it has been great. I am a UK citizen living in Ibiza, and dealing with the bureaucracy of Spanish suppliers is painful, to say the least. However, I have had no issues with Octopus, plus they have English-speaking agents that can actually help you. A special shout-out to Silvia, who has been especially helpful and fantastic to deal with.

Los contraté me mandaron 3 contratos con errores básicos desde el nombre mal escrito,la dirección,EL PRECIO DICHO HASTA POR WHATSAPP...LUEGO TE INFLAN EL PRECIO LLEGANDO A CASI 15.000€ POR LA INSTALACIÓN DE LAS PLACAS, TRAS FIRMAR TODO EL 27/07/2026, HACER VIDEOLLAMADAS PARA ENSEÑAR CÓMO ES LA CASA , NUNCA MÁS SE PUSIERON EN CONTACTO PARA DAR FECHA DE INSTALACIÓN, LLAMAS Y TE DEJAN EN ESPERA O TE DICEN QUE TE VUELVEN A LLAMAR LOS DEL EQUIPO TÉCNICO, OBVIAMENTE NO LLAMA NADIE , QUE ESCALAN LA INCIDENCIA QUE AL PARECER NO LLEGA A NADIE , AQUÍ ESTOY EN EL LIMBO CON UN CONTRATO FIRMADO Y UN SERVICIO NO PRESTADO, AHORA DEBO EMPEZAR LA CAMPAÑA DE QUEJAS PUBLICAS ONLINE EN TRUSPILOT ,GOOGLE , TODOS LOS REVIEWS EXISTENTES EN LÍNEA,CONSUMO ,OCU Y OBVIAMENTE PROCESO LEGAL MEDIANTE DENUNCIA DE MIS ABOGADOS! I hired them, and they sent me 3 contracts with basic errors—from misspelled names and wrong addresses to the PRICE THEY EVEN CONFIRMED ON WHATSAPP... Then they inflate the price, bringing it to almost €15,000 for the solar panel installation. After signing everything on 07/27/2026 and doing video calls to show them the house, they never contacted me again to give an installation date. You call them and they leave you on hold, or tell you that the technical team will call you back—obviously, nobody calls. They claim to escalate the issue, which apparently goes nowhere. Here I am in limbo with a signed contract and a service not provided. Now I have to start a public complaint campaign online on Trustpilot, Google, every review platform out there, Consumer Affairs, OCU, and obviously legal action through my lawyers' formal complaint! OCTOPUS ENERGY IS A SCAMMMM

If you have solar installed by octopus rate 0.07. If you have solar installed by others 0.002
I actually put into octopus 505.77 kWh at 0.002 = 10.12 euros
There price at present and going up 0.118 so there profit on me is 49.49 euros nice little earner so I'm gone

With so many homes fitting solar panels these days, there's a huge amount of extra power being fed back into the grid that isn't getting used. Good old supply and demand means surplus prices have naturally come down. That's actually why we've revamped our referral scheme and rolled out new options like Solar Hero and Intelligent Octopus Power ✨.
We always want to be totally open about our tariffs. As mentioned, surplus rates across the board are dropping, but as a special thank you to customers who install their panels directly with us, we offer a guaranteed surplus rate of 0,07 per kWh for 12 months.
