I bought "Issey cullottes pattern. It was a nightmare! The sizing was wrong. I wanted 34in waist and when the pattern was cut out, I found the waistband measured only 33 inches instead of 34 plus seams. These patterns are expensive and I wouldn't buy another one. And yes, I had cut it out correctly, on the correct size. I got my sewing teacher to check it out and she couldn't make sense of it either.

I had a question re: sizing. I emailed the company and got a great, in depth reply the very next day. I have made a dress and 2 T shirts from their collection and they turned out excellent.

This company used to make good patterns that were good to make. Lately they have made some changes to how their patterns are made and it's not fun or enjoyable. God forbid you should ask a question about it on their facebook group that doesn't gush blind following or you get warnings and put down. I keep getting emails from them saying they miss me and come back and buy a pattern yet are not open to feedback as to why I won't buy anymore. I'm not the only one, all the ladies in my sewing group are not liking any of the latest patterns

If you are either a beginner or an experienced sewist, these patterns are for you! I cannot stress how fabulous the designs are, and the instructions are next level! Kate, the designer, produces a video for each garment showing it in different fabrics and how to style it. Each garment has a myriad of choices, e.g. different sleeves, lengths, collars. They have a Facebook group that offers support, and the designers are always available to answer any questions. Honestly, I don't want to create anything that isn't from Pattern Emporium, and I've used the usual big names. I never dreamt I would be able to produce such professional looking garments - and that's down to PE. They are, quite simply, the best.
