This insurance has gone up alot and ive not claimed, when i asked why i was told a lot of other people have claimed so it has a knock on effect to me.
Why is pet insurance not the same as car insurance no claim no increase or only slight increase my insurance jumped £150 dread next years price

One of the best insurance ever, dealt quickly with our claim when my cocker got a grass seed in his eye. Affordable insurance for the working dogs I’m happy and will be insuring my new cocker with Pet Guard as well

From the moment i took out cover i heard and received nothing from them. Despite repeated attempts to get a copy of policy cover & updates. Nothing. They finally renewed without my consent. Took my money & this wAs when i finally managed to get hold of them. They have advised they have cancelled cover as per my request but theyve still taken my money Again here we go. If they don’t respond as they never have before then what. But they send a trustpilot review for completion 🤷♀️ Disgraceful customer service

I trued repeatedly over the first year to get policy documents & login details for the portal. These were never provided , i spoke to your customer service team who acknowledged the issue when i finally received my very first correspondence from you since taking out cover ( ie at renewal) They agreed to cancel the renewal & refund me. Promising no renewal monies would be taken from my account. You took the first renewal month & this wAs being refunded ….. it hasn’t been & today without my consent youve taken another month. A complete scam. I still dont have & have never had any policy documents. What an utter joke …. Further confirmed by the lack of investigation into your response here. All the above regarding refunds and cancellations had already taken place. Looks like its now trading standards to resolve as youve lied and cheated again

Simple and easy to get cover quickly!
Very simple, online application with an intuitive click and select website. Covered within 10 minutes, pleasantly pleased the pooch is protected by a Petguard plan!
REFUSED TO COVER MY ASSISTANCE DOG
So I've had my assistance dog with pet guard for the past 3 years without issue, when her policy coming to renewal I got the paperwork though and noticed that they had removed 3rd liability insurance from our policy. The 3rd liability insurance was all I used the policy for, I rang and asked why this was and was told that because we weren't with Assistance Dog's UK (ADUK) we couldn't have the cover. This is discrimination under the equality act 2010 which I informed them of and started the complaints process.
After their complent didn't work (it was the underwriters that changed the policy wording not pet guard) I put a complaint in with the financial omnisbusman who was able to speak to the underwriters at ageas and get the policy changed for just me.
I'm still very disappointed in pet guard because since they decided to cover my dog I've had to contact them 6/7 times to get the documents posted to me. (I took the policy out on 07-07-21) The last person I spoke to said she was sending the paperwork signed for so the could track it, this was the 4th set that they had said they were sending.. And appon receiving them this morning (31-07-21) the paperwork is incorrect and not sent with signed for like they promised.
I've contacted them again this morning and explained that I need the paperwork to be correct as I have to post the documents off to our assistance dog organization. The man on the phone has agreed he will talk to the underwriters when they are in on Monday but this has dragged out far too long and I have not received the apology letter that I was promised.
I feel so let down with my experience.
