My renewal price increase came as a…

My renewal price increase came as a shock, but after phone calls and a email no joy but a follow up email from Petguard saved the day so there for nearly top marks.
I just hope I don’t have the same problems with my next two renewals this month (August).

Just a Back Up

I have pet insurance as a back up in case my dog has to have vet attention ,as my previous dog had, and so far have been fortunate enough not to require using the option. On saying that dealing with the company has been easy from initial quote to the present with renewal notice and the continuation of the policy. In all honesty I cannot say anything further.

Dog only one years old and premium doubled

I am very disappointed that my dog has only just turned one years old and my premium has doubled from £400 a year to over £800 and the excess has increased to £150. I am quite upset by this as I am unable to change insurance companies as am now tied with this one. Shocking increase in premium.

Where is my paperwork?

I asked for my policy documents to be sent in the post because I had no printing facilities at the time of buying the policy. I am still waiting. Has to be well over a month now. Not impressed, though the guyI spoke to organising the policy was helpful.

All of the policy documents are available in you online portal but we can chase through and send the printed documents again for you.

Responds time is slow

Responds time is slow

Our dog is a rescue from another country and does not have full medical history prior to being rescued. They have obtained his current medical history (after adoption), but insist on obtaining his previous history.

This has been on going for 2 months now. Once/if this gets resolved we will be changing pet insurance companies.

Posative and business like approach

My 8yr old labrador needed a small lump removed as it was too small for biopsy. We then needed extended histology as it was malignant.
Petguard responded promptly and proffessionally settling the claim directly with the Vets, which made the process much more straight forward, for whch, many thanks.

Pain free renewal process.

I was contacted well in advance of my renewal which went through without a hitch. Happily I have not needed to use the service, so feel I cannot comment further, but it is reassuring to know that Petguard is there should we need it.
