Came across Phoenix RC on Autotrader. Thought I'd enquire about a car with a small intention of possibly purchasing, so I booked an appointment with Maj.

I can confidently say, I have never been to a better car dealership! Maj was amazing and so was Luke. Both treat me well and looked after me whilst I was down there.

I ended up purchasing the car I enquired about 3 days after viewing.

They've kept in touch after the purchase and answered all my questions in detail, the handover was fantastic and I'll definitely be back for the next car.

I couldn't have asked for better customer service, the sales man Luke went above and beyond all the time to make sure I had a great buyers experience. The car was given a full MOT and service for nothing extra as well as a full clean and polish. I would definitely recommend this business to anyone interested in purchasing a new car.

In my life I've owned a great many cars, changing them usually in their third year, if not sooner. As a result I have met a considerable number of used car dealers and can speak from a great deal of knowledge when I say that the experience of dealing with Phoenix RC Automotive in Huddersfield has to rank at the very top.

We made the 130 mile journey to Huddersfield but managed to arrive half an hour late for the appointment due to two junctions being closed on the M42, resulting in a scenic tour of the suburban south Birmingham area. Notwithstanding our late arrival, we were greeted and offered coffee straight away by Maj who has to qualify as the most non-pressurising sales manager I have ever encountered.

I had come to look at one of their Mercedes S Class Coupes, and had also noticed an exquisite Bentley Continental GT should I not be enamoured of the Mercedes following a test drive. There was no need for such a contingency of course as the coupe performed exactly as I expected and looked far better in person than its pictures. The car had been meticulously prepared and was immaculate inside and out – as was every other item of stock that I could see in their showroom – with an extensive suite of options, a low mileage and an exceptional history; it had never failed an MoT, nor had it ever had an advisory note.

Maj’s knowledge of the car was detailed and thorough - a good salesman always knows exactly what he's selling and highlights its best points - and I felt that had I randomly picked any other vehicle in his wide range of stock and asked "What does that button do?", he would have known the answer straight away.

The test drive was a superbly enjoyable experience and without a doubt, the coupe was the finest car that I had ever driven. Given that I was looking to swap my Mercedes E Class Coupe which I had enjoyed driving for three years, its replacement had to prove itself to be a significant upgrade by comparison, and needless to say this was most emphatically so.

The sales process was again unhurried and I chose to extend the warranty to a full year and opted for Phoenix to deliver the car to me to save another 260 mile round trip. Maj gave me a very generous part exchange price for my E Class against its larger and newer sibling and that helped seal the deal for me.

I should also like to thank Luke, whom I dealt with initially and who very promptly sent me complete walk-round videos of the car, pointing out the few small stone chips (I think there were about four in total), the condition of the alloys (unmarked), and performed a cold start so that I could hear the fabulous V8 sound. He was also able to take my holding deposit so I could then arrange to come and view the car at the weekend.

Following payment, the car was delivered to me less than a week later, in the same immaculate condition and with an almost full fuel tank – a significant gesture on behalf of Phoenix given the size of the S Class tank! The driver did a complete walk round with me and again was not in a hurry to get away; he was more concerned that I was completely satisfied with the condition of the car and that I was happy to complete the transaction.

Having dealt with a great many car dealers over the best part of forty years, I can confidently say that Maj and his team at Phoenix RC Automotive in Huddersfield are truly first rate and I cannot recommend them highly enough.

Although I did not purchase the vehicle because it did not suit my commute due to battery range, the service provided by Luke Barratt and Phoenix was 1st class.
I had put a deposit down on the vehicle but on reflection thought best not to pursue the full purchase. Luke arranged for the return of the deposit and offered further assistance in the future to secure a vehicle that would suit my requirements.
All in all a very good experience and will definitely return in the future.

Jaguar F-Type

Just purchased a used F Type from these guys. Dealt with Luke. Very professional and honest about the cars description and history. Was very nervous about purchasing a car I'd not physically inspected but I had the confidence to go through with the purchase. Car was delivered on Saturday 6 May 2023 and is exactly as described (if not slightly better). Thanks to Luke and the team - recommended

Friendly efficient staff, which nothing was too much trouble.
The whole process from start to finish was fast, efficient, straight forward and friendly. No pushy sales, all was done at my own pace and Luke, who guided me through this experience, was superb. I’d happily use this company again. Their vehicles are very top end and all are well documented and presented.

Only went to view the car, Maj was very professional and helpful.

Simple & straightforward transaction

Bought a car, not owned it for 3 weeks,the car shows a error malfunction message whilst driving with my wife and infant child.. Maj has not been helpful and does not want to assist me with any repairs despite leaving emails and voicemails too,my review has been recently removed but i will be attending the branch soon to show the customers what really happens at PHOENIX RC AUTOMOTIVE

My car had to go back for a couple of jobs that needed doing, luke took into consideration that my husband works away and I couldn't pick it up so luke and someone else brought my car home for me, and showed me the video of the work that's been done, also a full valet was done
I can't thank luke enough he is amazing would highly recommend this garage to anyone nothing is too much trouble.
