Office 2019
I purchased Microsoft Office 2019 for Mac from this website based on the information provided, which stated that the product is compatible with the latest macOS versions. Unfortunately, this turned out not to be true in my case.
I am using macOS Tahoe, and after installation, Microsoft Word (and the rest of the Office apps) crashed immediately on launch with a framework compatibility error. I reinstalled the software multiple times, re-downloaded the installer, and followed all the troubleshooting instructions provided to me via email support 100%, exactly as instructed. Despite this, the same error persisted every time.
The issue is not related to updates or licensing, but to actual incompatibility between Office 2019 and newer macOS versions, something that was not clearly stated on the product page. If a product is advertised as compatible with recent macOS versions, it should at least be usable without crashing on launch.
Due to this, I was unable to use the software at all and had to purchase a newer Office version directly from Microsoft. This experience was frustrating and time-consuming, and I believe the compatibility information on the website should be more accurate and up to date.
I hope the store improves transparency regarding macOS compatibility so other customers do not face the same issue
