Friendly and efficient service

I had an issue in that my hot water wasn’t working. Spoke to a very helpful lady in the customer care team who arranged for someone to come out on the same day. Dave arrived promptly, sorted the issue within minutes (without making me feel daft for my lack of plumbing knowledge) and completed a service which was due, as well as checking my radiators didn’t need bleeding. Really reassuring as someone living alone to know that there are friendly, reliable services such as PRS around. Wouldn’t hesitate to use them again.

Great Service

Great Service. Quick turnaround . Great service from customer care team Lyndsey and Jess. Boiler fitted in 2 days. Great value. I was very impressed with the process from start to finish. I love my new boiler.It made my extension project a bit less stressful.

Removal of back boiler

Had a baxi back boiler removed and a new combi boiler fitted over 3 days. Very professional company, great office staff that let me know what was going on. Gary the plumber was exceptional,can not speak highly enough about him, house was left clean and tidy every day. I would definitely use or recommend again.

Difficult dealing with admin but okay in the end…

The engineer was very knowledgeable and gave full details of what was involved and gave the cost on the spot. For that read ran we were impressed and decided to chose the company over three others although the cost was similar apart from British Gas who were £1,000 more for the same installation. The time between acceptance and installation was prolonged because of very poor administration particularly because of one person and we became concerned. Eventually we agreed an installation date and Lewis who carried out the work was professional, polite.and generally a pleasant man who worked very hard to complete in two days with the least possible disruption. The system seems to be working during the two weeks of installation.
Jess who dealt with our queries regarding documentation after installation was very helpful and what she didn’t know so endeavoured to find out. Good to know someone was on the ball.

First class experience start to finish

First class experience start to finish. I contacted PRS after searching for a new Worcester Bosch boiler because my old one was 20 years old. I was worried about the 2025 proposed changes to installation of gas-fired boilers so decided that this was the time to prepare. My first contact was through Lynsey who arranged for a inspector to come out, measure up and advise. This was Patrick who was very knowledgeable and extremely helpful, explaining the pros and cons of conventional against combi. As it turned out, my poor water supply meant going with the conventional replacement. Up and until this point, I hadn't really decided to commit, and in the normal course of events would have 'shopped around' for quotes, but such was the professionalism displayed I decided to go with the quote which I felt was fair. The new boiler was fitted by Gary and I can't speak highly enough of his work - very tidy, concientious and friendly. As mentioned, a First Class job, start to finish

Very professional company.

We recently had a new boiler fitted by prs plumbing solutions & the fitter Gary was very efficient & tidy worker. He was a very pleasant & helpful young man & made a very good job of the alterations that were needed to fit the boiler.
Would definitely recommend this company. Everyone involve from first quote to fitting & final payment were courteous & helpful.

PRS plumbing came to fit our new boiler…

PRS plumbing came to fit our new boiler on Monday, after agreement on the Friday, so were super fast, and on the day the engineer was very helpful, hardworking and solution focused. The boiler is working well and I can't fault the quality or the professionalism of this company. He checked all radiators were working efficiently afterwards, and all clearing up was done to a very high standard. Great job and totally hassle free : ) Steph, Whitstable

I was desperate for a boiler…

I was desperate for a boiler replacement and I spoke to Lyndsey in the office who understood my situation and agreed to send someone around to quote … needless to say everything was agreed boiler fitted a few days later … all good … I had an issue not understanding the controls I rang to complain and straight away a engineer visited and explained what I was doing wrong.. no hassle.. all good 👍

My boiler broke down and we had a surveyor out the same day and the boiler fitted within 2 days. The engineer talked me through the process and was very clean and tidy! Excellent workmanship!

Fitted an Alpha combi boiler. Parts arrived just after 8.00 a.m, fitter 8.20 p.m. All went without a problem job completed just after lunch. Left clean and tidy giving full explanation how boiler works before leaving. Excellent service and competitive price.

Faulty Installation

I should have waited till all issues had been resolved before sending the original review.

The boiler stopped working day after fitted, we were told to bleed radiators, they should have come back to do this.

On day 14 boiler completely stopped working, no heating or hot water; Worcester Bosch confirmed that the issue had been caused by 'a blockage within the external condensate pipework fitted by your installer'

We are vulnerable pensioners who had no heating or hot water for 5 days. PRS just want your money, I have a text confirming that 'payment is due on completion of the job'. Regardless.

It has been claimed that my husband used household drain unlocking fluid, incorrect, also that the pipework was connected to the sink waste also incorrect.

The boiler replaced one fitted in the dining room, no viable route for pipework to kitchen, has to run on exterior wall.

PRS also stated they expidated the appointment, the appointment was made by us and had not been brought forward.

We will not be using PRS to qualify for the 2 year extension of the manufacturers10 year warranty.

Dear Mrs Williams,

Thank you for updating your original review that had some inconsistencies in the the account. We appreciate that the time that you did not have a boiler was very unfortunate for you and can only assume that this was the reason for the somewhat strongly worded original review.
In response to the original issues:
1) When you reported air in the system we advised that we could attend later that day to rectify however if you wanted to speed up the process then if you bled the radiators then this may solve your issue quicker. Sometimes after changing a boiler some air can get trapped and takes time to move around the system. This did solve the issue. We could still attended later that day had it not.
2) 14 days after the installation the boiler unfortunately stopped working. This was due to an E227 fault which indicates possible issues with the gas valve. We called Worcester Bosch to report for you as due to warranty issues Worcester Bosch must attend to confirm that there hasn't been a fault on a part at manufacturing level. We also sent Alex, one of our engineers, to the property to make sure the fault code was correct. I personally spoke to Area Manager of Worcester Bosch for you to see if this appointment could be expedited. Chloe then attended and confirmed all was safe and that a blockage seemed to have appeared in the existing waste pipe that your boiler was attached to. The boiler would have not have worked for two weeks if the pipe had been blocked on installation. Chloe and the Area Manager, despite the verbal abuse they received, did not remove the blockage as they are not allowed to work on anything but the boiler. We have not returned since the Worcester Bosch visit but were told by your husband that the blockage has now been removed by himself and when we last spoke were informed that the boiler is now working fine. If you do require any further assistance with this then please let us know as we will happily return to rectify.

3. With regards to payment, it is indeed correct that payment is due for the installation on completion. As stated in the Terms & Conditions agreement that you signed. This is standard procedure in most businesses when a customer has received the goods requested. You may have received and automated reminder from our system when payment had not been made. This is the first time you have raised this so I was unaware.

I understand your frustrations and I am glad that the blockage eventually disappeared somehow and that your boiler is now working. I am also proud that our team were able to professionally follow the correct course of action, as well as the team at Worcester Bosch, and ensure that your safety was kept paramount. It is unfortunate that you no longer wish for our team to service your boiler as agreed by yourself post installation. I will remove this from our systems as requested.

We were having a new boiler fitted, Keith was very efficient and polite and explained the instructions for the use of boiler that we could understand.

Professional, friendly service

Having to get a new boiler is always a bore but I can honestly say that PRS made it a completely fast, efficient and hassle-free bore. Having contacted 3 companies for quotes, PRS quickly sent me a quote with two models for comparison and they then called and took the time to talk me through the options. This personal service is what decided me to go with them. Their engineer, Louis, was punctual, friendly and did a great job. I'm happy with the new boiler and would happily recommend the company.

Warm again

Great communication with company

Great communication with company. Very responsive. On site quote was provided on the same day with choice of boilers provided. Engineer came on time and installed boiler in a few hours. All working perfectly. Would highly recommend.
