they simply give 1 excuse, I don't know who the banking partner is for this type of scam payment gateway provider. my remittance of 1 lakh are kept in hold.

worst payment gateway

worst payment gateway. never ever go with Razorpay. onboarding is very hard as all the people are totally illiterate technically, they don't know how a website works. It took months before accepting my website after continuous rejection. every time I remove the objections they come up with new objections. it went on for around 2 months and endless hours over the call, and multiple emails, it was totally nightmare. some of the strange reasons for rejection were: why free product, why an external link for blog, online video editing course is not an E-Commerce and so on. please go with some other company and not for Razorpay.

🚨 FRAUD ALERT – Razorpay Supports Scammers! 🚨

I made a payment through Razorpay for server hosting, but the seller turned out to be a fraud. Until now, I have not received the service, and the seller is completely unresponsive. They have scammed me and others, with no attempt to provide the service promised.

Despite raising multiple tickets with Razorpay support, there has been no action taken. Razorpay is clearly allowing fraudulent sellers to operate on their platform without any real verification or accountability.

If Razorpay is truly committed to customer protection, they need to suspend the fraudulent seller’s account immediately and issue refunds to all affected customers.

If you value your money, do not trust Razorpay for payments—they are enabling scammers to thrive. BEWARE! 🚨

no customer care service

I paid 400.64 rupees in deodap shopping website for my products, the payment was made but not updated, when asked deodap customer care, they asked me to contact razorpay for refund, but razorpay is fraud not replying, fraud company razorpay. I will change this review if my problem solved.

Don't trust them..fraud , hidden charges incompetent razorpay rize

Don't trust them... The pre sales team is f shubam and co is full of lies.. they don't know what they are doing... Lots of hidden charges , initial quotation quoted was 8 by them, then fordin reactivation they charged another 1000 plus govt fee of 5000... First they said one reason registration including GST and msme registration was included... Now demanding extra 13000for same and ... Sales team consultant does not respond only.. fraud fraud fraud... Scammers of different level... Lots o f hidden charges and extra charges... Extra documents are also being asked for post incorporation which they said was notvtrrewuired... I wasted 3 months already and now looking for other CA locally, don't opt for razorpay rize services... They are traudandvtimecwasting company with incompetent staff

Razorpay is a scammer company first time I created account on razorpay for payment gateway i provide him all documents and site information but he was taking ₹199 for kyc verification then i closed and i didn't pay because I have another payment gateway after some i received call from razorpay customer he said me sir your account is pending for kyc verification then said him your are taking money for verification so I didn't pay , then he said me pay 199 if kyc will not verify then your money will refund,then paid him for kyc verification after this payment one day again i received call from his support team he asked me some documents thats I have not then my kyc failed but my money not refunded again i contact him for refund my money then he is saying it is non refundable, that's very big scam i have his customer support call record he told me for refund money, do not create account on razorpay

I made a purchase from a company called…

I made a purchase from a company called Serverhosh. they used the payment provider Razorpay. I contacted Razorpay to get a refund from the “scam” company called Serverhosh.

They said;

"Our records indicate that due to insufficient funds in the merchant's account, we do not have the feasibility for us to raise a refund, we would recommend you to reach out to your issuing bank [bank of the account from where there is a debit] and file a Chargeback for the said payment."

After this reply, I didn't receive another reply from Razorpay.

fortunately, I was able to contact my own bank and get my money back after 5 months.

(I have email proofs for all of them)

Such companies should be shut down!

Razorpay: The Most Useless Payment Gateway in India

Razorpay is by far the most useless payment gateway I’ve ever encountered. They deactivate accounts without providing any valid reason, leaving businesses stranded. To make matters worse, their customer support is completely unresponsive—they simply close tickets without addressing any queries.

The service is nothing short of pathetic, and as one of India’s so-called largest payment gateways, it fails miserably in reliability and support. I would never recommend this payment gateway to anyone.

I had referred Razorpay to many people before, but now even they are moving to PhonePe Payment Gateway because of Razorpay’s terrible service. Avoid Razorpay at all costs!

I paid through razorpay on gfxfather.com $15, then day later I've charged twice $50, I blocked my card, but will never get my money back. It uses your card details and will charge money without any SMS verification! Be aware!

Worst customer support, technical team is clueless and ALL of them are straight liars

All small businesses out there, AVOID Razorpay at all costs!
Paid in full for a POS machine, delivered a MONTH late with UPI not working. ALL the support staff are liars - two supervisors a week apart repeated the same: “Drop an email, will be resolved in 1 hr”. NOTHING done

Razorpay’s Unprofessionalism is Crippling My Business: A Nightmare Experience

Running a business is never easy, but nothing could prepare me for the disaster of dealing with Razorpay as my payment gateway provider. When I first signed up with them, I believed their platform would streamline our transactions, helping us focus on scaling the business. What I didn't expect was to be stonewalled at every turn by their incompetence, endless delays, and complete disregard for their customers.

It all started when I noticed my funds were inexplicably blocked. My business relies on steady cash flow, and I had payments lined up—payments that are critical for both my domestic and international clients. I reached out to Razorpay urgently, hoping for quick assistance, only to find that my nightmare had just begun. After days of radio silence and stalled operations, they finally responded, demanding an absurd amount of documentation and explanations, including details about our business model and services.

Mind you, I had already provided this information countless times in previous emails. I explained in detail how we offer virtual and dedicated servers, elaborated on our reseller model, and even shared invoices and client confirmations. But instead of processing my settlement, Razorpay dragged their feet, wasting more time. They asked for ridiculous things like screenshots of client confirmations and unnecessary details, all while my business was suffering.

Despite jumping through their hoops, Razorpay still wouldn’t release my funds. It became a continuous loop of "we need this" or "we need that," but even after providing everything, they had the audacity to ask for social media links! I’m a B2B service provider—we don’t even need social media accounts! Yet here they were, asking for completely irrelevant information, stalling the process, and showing a complete lack of understanding of business urgency.

Days passed, and the frustration grew. They requested an “undertaking letter” confirming that card details weren’t stored on our servers—a baffling request considering we were simply using their gateway for transactions! This was either a sign of incompetence or a deliberate attempt to withhold my funds even longer.

It’s now been over a week since this ordeal began. Razorpay has locked my funds, disrupted my operations, and put my client relationships at risk. We’ve paid our suppliers for services already delivered, but the client payments, held hostage by Razorpay, have left us in a financial bind. Despite all the documentation, explanations, and confirmations provided, Razorpay continues to delay, asking for nonsensical details that serve no purpose other than to frustrate and delay the process further.

I even threatened to go to consumer court and expose this disaster on social media—something I’ve never imagined having to do. But Razorpay’s unprofessional behavior left me with no choice. It feels like they are deliberately withholding our payments, ignoring the very real impact this is having on my business.

Razorpay’s support is nothing short of abysmal, and I cannot, in good conscience, recommend this payment gateway to any business. Their lack of urgency, communication, and basic understanding of business operations has cost us valuable time, trust, and money. If you're looking for a reliable payment gateway, avoid Razorpay at all costs—unless, of course, you want to deal with the same nightmare that we’ve endured.

Really i make big mistake register with razor pay they have been held my payment more then 1,00,000 INR.

I am fully kyc approved partner on razor pay

its been week not resolve it. I raised ticket on customer support is closed next day again i raised it also closed but problem is not solved they not settle my payment or not pay back to my client and using my money for their own interest.

They keep with them after submitting all the documents for this fund from my side and also my client who make payment also support me with documents so that this guys resume payment but no just got mail we are reviewing i have time limit to provide goods to my client and this people west my one week and my time limit is approaching who will be responsible if my client charge me penalty on me.

Fix your support team

Dear razorpay, If you are taking some advance money and blocking our account kindly close your company,
how can you do like fraud,

For kyc verification I paid 199 rupees and execting acount activation after uploading my govt documents.
And you guys deactived my account even i got mail that we are deleting your account.

I created the ticket for this concern even they are not replying either you dont have funds as asking money and blocking accounts or you are big fraud.

If you have technical issue then try to resolve it by your support team.

You support team is absolutely lazy and useless.

And please dont write that autmated message here that you can raise the ticket or something else if you dont have time no issue i already looking for better alternative.
