Perfect as always

Perfect as always. One of the quickest services I ever book. I regularly book a skip after hours and it’s been delivered the next morning just in time to start my day and with zero disturbance.

I’ve been lucky to meet with Adam a few times when he drops off/ picks up our skips and he’s fantastic - always nice to see and have a chat and could not be happier when I get a skip from the guys at Collard.

Special shout out to Seb who is also so quick and helpful when arranging all - always accommodating and can tell they will always find way to make it easier for you.

Speedy and friendly

Collard was able to exchange the skip within hours of requesting it. The person dropping the skip off was polite, friendly and presentable even though it was his 11th drop for the day.
I like working with these people and the company.

Once again the collard team completed…

Once again the collard team completed this job to perfection. I only ordered the skip for a few days as needed it in and out quick, once ordered online I had a call from the office to confirm the short time frame to check I hadn’t made a mistake, both drivers were really nice guys and took real care when on site. Definitely be using collards again

Yesterday a driver collecting a skip …

Yesterday a driver collecting a skip in reading millman road was speeding driving dangerous nearly run over an elderly woman to make matters worse it during school run the company must do a drug test to this driver who had a truck written matt on the door when I confronted him about his behaviour he answered me it was his daddy company .I later called his company warning them about the incident of dangerous driving in a 20 mile zone.

Collards are nearly always very good to…

Collards are nearly always very good to deal with even if on the slightly expensive side.
This occasion was slightly disappointing in that the skip was not delivered on the day arranged, but new driver had a tough first day (my translation of what was said - and hey, we’ve all been there!) not a massive issue for me fortunately, so no problem. Agreed an early delivery the following morning, and sure enough between 7 and 730 it arrived, but took a few attempts to get it on the drive whereas normally it’s done very easily in one quick, slick manoeuvre (I’ve had a few skips over the years). So I think we maybe woke a few neighbours that morning! But again, there’s only one way to learn and you could see his colleague trying to help him get to grips with lining it up etc.
collection was quick and easy as normal though. This was probably my worst experience in all honestly, but by no means bad and I’m sure the driver is very experienced by now!

No customer care!

I have always found the prices of skips in my area (Wallingford) to be very similar and drivers all great, so for me the difference is logistics - collection/pick up that makes the real difference. Collards are the worst! They tell you they will pick it up on a certain day, confirm it when you call them twice that day to make sure collection is still happening as planned and ….you guessed it, no collection.I understand things go wrong, but it is not hard to call customers to tell them of such! Very poor service - avoid and go with a more organised company.

Cancelled our contract due to lack of work in our area a

We have been a customer of Collards for a couple of years and have been very happy, recently the service deteriorated with missed collection leading to a build-up of waste.

Today we were told our contract was being cancelled due to us being the only customer in that area, I asked how much notice they were giving us, basically ASAP.

I pointed out that if we cancelled the contract, we would have to give three months’ notice and I asked for the same in return, I was told I was being unreasonable and that the “Contract Didn’t Work That Way” and we could find another company quickly.

You state that you gave us 1 months notice, this is not accurate, we were advised to find a new supplier ASAP, I was told "You can find someone in a couple of weeks" It was only when I pushed back that we were given 1 months notice .

This is a very disappointing end and I feel very unnecessary and a poor reflection on the company.

We understand that you are disappointed that your Trade waste contract has been cancelled and this decision was not taken lightly. Due to several other contracts ending in your area it was no longer financially viable to continue to empty your wheelie bin and as such we would not be able to provide the service to which you are accustomed. Our standard notice period is one month which we will honour unless you request us not to. We appreciate that this not ideal but wish you the best with your new provider.

Really good

What a great team you have in the skip rental area Collard Group.
We have hired a number of of skips over the years but in the last few weeks whilst moving home we have needed a few skips. We even had to request one extra skip on the day for first thing delivery.

We spoked with Lisa most times and she was so helpful and she also made sure to pass on details about our driveway to her lovely driver Adam.

Thank you to them both for being kind and helpful when we were stressing out.
