Fruit Cage
Purchased a 4m by 4m fruit cage. What an excellent product, engineered to a high standard. All the parts were supplied and instructions were clear. Frame was assembled by one person, the netting requires two. Cannot fault the product or company in any way. Two thumbs up.

2.5m fruit cage
I was impressed with the quality of the product and the speed of delivery. As it is new I cannot comment on its longevity but my initial impression is that it should last for some years. My only slight criticism is that there is no spike on the end which is pressed into the ground.

Excellent service from Robinsons Polytunnels. Shame courier was useless
I ordered netting from Robinsons. They dispatched same day. Courier they used was rubbish.
XDP from Cinderford were disorganized, unprofessional, impolite and slow.
After a week I had to re order to get the goods which were delivered next day by others but it did mean that I bought twice as much netting as I needed as the first order I made finally arrived a later.
Netting and dispatch was excellent and Robinsons were so apologetic and helpful but they do need to sort out which courier they use.

Recently, we have been let down by our delivery company which seems to be isolated to a couple of delivery depots. We have had "robust" communications with the delivery company and we're hopeful that the issues with these depots have now been resolved.

Great service, great product!
I emailed a query about a product to Robinson's and they responded quickly. I then placed the order and it arrived well-packaged and on time (not bad, considering I'm in the north highlands!). The Cherry Fruit cage is fantastic - a real quality product - and I'd have no hesitation in recommending both their products and their customer service.

Slightly dissapointed
My Polly tunnel arrived on time however after booking the weekend of work. I set about erecting only to discover two parts were missing so having to wait till the following Monday a phone call later I wos told parts were being galvanised and will b sent out in a few days . after receiving my missing parts I eventually worked out my parts were not the same as shown on diagram, a phone call later after explaining the brackets had been welded the wrong way round iwos told it wos now a new way, yes alright ? It wos not at all as it left the main door beam rubbing against the Polly so feel as I wos fobbed of

It's unfortunate that a slight modification to one of the brackets had not been updated in the instruction booklet (which it now has), leading to the confusion over the orientation of this particular bracket. The bracket was re-designed to avoid the bolt head facing the polythene and to make the bolt head more accessible.
Once again, please accept our apologies for the delay is despatching the four brackets and the confusion in the instruction booklet.

Fruit cages
An excellent sturdy product which will last for years.Needs care in initial setting out. Would have earned 5 stars if they had used a more reliable carrier with whom we have had several problems from other suppliers as well. Good value for money.

Absolutely delighted with our poly tunnel and the ease of erection. But
We purchased our polytunnel two years ago and had to shelve our plans to erect because I had a knee replacement. I am now awaiting the other one to be replaced. So my wife decided to have a go. Our site is on an allotment which slopes down the length of the tunnel but also slopes
Along the width of it as well. She struggled with getting both levels and after a lot of frustration and swearing, we decided to ring your advice line for info you were very helpful , saying get the levels on the width slope right and ignore the length ones ie go with the slope . The only assistance she had after this was lifting the polythene and tightening it. All the other allotmenteers have admired it and some have threatened to look on your web site. We are very happy with our polytunnel and it is full of tomatoes cucumbers and lots of seedlings. Bill Goldsmith Hesket Newmarket Cumbria.

Polytunnel cover
Good product but information regarding which way up the cover should be fitted would have helped as i have fitted cover with the anti fog on the outside through lack of instructions, may be OK for the professional but not for us amateurs.

For the benefit of other customers I can explain that the polythene is printed close to one edge (about 50cm from the edge) with "INSIDE" in lettering about 2cm high. This is repeated every 1.5m along the length of the polythene. It may not be easy to notice the printing immediately but once the polythene has been unrolled, the printing becomes apparent. The writing should be readable from inside the polytunnel but because it's close to the edge, the writing gets buried in the trench or is the surplus tail of the polythene if the polythene is fixed to rails along the sides.

Good product and service
Ordered my 6m square fruit cage over the telephone. Advised at that time that there would be a delay because corner fittings awaited from galvanisers. Needed as much height as possible because cage was to sit outside and around raised bed and extra long ground stakes offered without hesitation. Item received as promised, appears a pretty robust structure and looks good. Only reservation is quality of roof netting and only time will tell as and when this removed over winter and refitted. Overall, very pleased with the end result and price. Very happy to recommend Robinson Polytunnels for service and their product
