Visited our dealer Robinsons Caravans Chesterfield today. ATC now fitted and all missing parts supplied.
Various bits of snagging completed happily by the dealer. Overall a great experience from Robinsons and we can’t wait to get back on the road now at Easter.

Brilliant service by Robinsons Caravans. We dealt with Stuart regarding the sale who was very approachable and happy to answer any questions. Very smooth process from trading ours in to picking up our new to us one in just under 3 weeks. Wayne was brilliant who showed us round the caravan and did a fab hand over explaining how everything worked. We are so excited to start using it and feel confident if we do have any issues, Robinsons will sort it.

We bought a brand new Swift Elegance from Robinsons Caravans in Chesterfield in June 2022 at a cost of £50,000.
We have had to return it to them for various faults in the last few months. We had an air conditioning system fitted which failed during the hottest day of the year and leaked into our caravan. We had to return the caravan to Robinsons twice (we are over an hour away) for them to rectify the faulty seal which caused the malfunction.
We then reported after being contacted by the Swift Command system in October that the leisure battery supplied with the caravan had reached a level which was too low.
We contacted Richardsons Caravans who arranged for their manager to meet us to check the battery if we took the caravan to a nearby motor home dealer. On the day we were due to meet him when he hadn’t contacted us as arranged we rang the motor home dealer only to be told that he had gone home.
The battery then went totally flat meaning that the motor movers would also no longer work.
We contacted Robinsons again only to be told that if we drove to the motor home dealer the manager would meet us there with a new battery we were given a replacement battery which was not new.
We fitted it to the caravan which immediately drained again!
We contacted Robinsons again only to be told that we had to get the caravan to them now. It took my wife &I an hour and a half to move our 2 tonne caravan without motor movers out of our storage space onto the back of our car!
Robinsons have now had our caravan for 3 weeks and not fixed anything until today (the fridge was not charging on gas).
Robinsons are now refusing to repair either major fault; the battery not keeping its charge or the motor movers not working because they claim it is not covered by the Swift warranty despite the fact that whilst the caravan has been in their yard it has drained 2 batteries.
We now have a £50,000 caravan which is unusable!

This is a bit later than planned as we picked up our new van late November.We always have great friendly service from everyone at the Worksop branch. They all go out of their way to help. David (sales) and Alan (handover) were really helpful and nothing is a problem to them.When buying from the shop too,they are always happy to help. I also have to mention Jarrod too. He has sold us two vans previously,and is always very friendly. He takes time to come and chat even though he is busy. They are all very helpful and we cannot recommend them enough from our experiences we’ve had with them.

We recently bought a caravan from Robinsons. What great experience it was from start to finish. I’d like to say a massive thank you to Brian in sales who helped us. His knowledge was very much appreciated. We haven’t owned a tourer before so Carls demonstration on collection was great.

From my first call that was taken by Natalie, she made the booking process friendly and efficient, this was my first encounter with Robinsons as I have just bought my first motorhome. When I arrived for the work I had booked in I was greeted by Natalie and Simon the Motorhome Service Technician that took me through their approach and confirmed what I needed from them. They were very professional and again very friendly. After the work was completed they took me through what they had done to make sure I was happy with the work. I was very happy as all the way through their customer service was excellent and I felt comfortable with what they were doing. Finally the invoice was a pleasant surprise as it was less than I expected anf really fair with the work they had completed. Thank you. I would highly recommend Robinsons and commend Natalie and Simon for their way of working. I will definitely return in the future to service my Motorhome.

Bought a van from these, delivered it to site, the guy that delivered it said the quad mover that we paid £1000 for, (on top of van price) was playing up that’s why he was running late. The mover has had to go in to be looked at, as it still doesn’t work. The panoramic roof light at front of van leaked when it rained, the damp report that we found in paperwork stated that a certain area needed checking in 3 months… not handed over to us. When contacted they just fob you off or don’t respond. Basically don’t spend your hard earned money here, after sales non existent. This mover was never checked.. and window must have leaked while on forecourt, now having to pay for a new panoramic window and centre window £1200 a new quad mover to the sum of £2300. When we checked if they have serviced the van, no paperwork or record of it on swifts database. So I’d like to bet not. Let’s hope the part of floor that needed checking is ok. Hope someone at robinsons that actually give a damn read this!! It’s been a very expensive mistake using this company.

Ordered a brand new Sherwood with these cowboys at the NEC in Feburary 2022 with a delivery date of July 2022. issues with parts?? Or is that a scam too?? Now over 2 months late and absolutely no contact from them at all. Awful customer service, Please spend your hard earned cash elsewhere

Second caravan I’ve purchased from Robinsons caravans very happy with the service thanks to all the staff

This was our 1st purchase from Robinsons of Chesterfield. We received first class service from Scott in sales who was helpful with our part exchange and answered all our questions. On collection of our new Swift Conqueror Carl did an excellent handover and explained everything clearly, even connected the gas bottle and battery from our old caravan. All the staff at Robinsons were friendly and Natalie, Linda and Leah in the service department were very efficient. We will certainly recommend Robinsons to our fellow caravanners. Avoid Robinsons Baught a £20,000 caravan 5 months ago took out extra auto protect warranty the fixed sunroof split Letting in rainwater I assumed was the heat wave as it was the same week my caravan was in storage . They inspected the caravan and no mention about manufacturing to blame they emediately put it in the hands of of the warrenty auto protect who then said because it was the sun I’m not covered even though there policy says body leaks we cover any permanent sealed seam or joint or the original manufacturers construction which the fixed sunroof is . All I got from from Robinsons of Worksop was a bill to repair for my own insurance to sort which of course means if my insurance pays out they get to do the work winner winner and my insurance goes up with a bang next year not happy with robinsons and definitely not happy with the warrenty company they reccommend

Excellent, service, all staff very friendly, Mark, salesman not pushy at all, gave us a good part ex price, at hand over Alan was very knowledgeable, would definitely recommend

From the first visit to view a motor home we had helpful and knowledgeable service from Andrew and David, all we asked for in our new to us motorhome was fulfilled.
Collection day was dealt with by Wayne who again told us how to operate everything, and was happy to answer any questions.

Had to return to after sales couple of weeks later to sort couple of minor details and another helpful and courteous service by the team Ben & Melanie

I just wanted to say how brilliant Linda in the service team (Brimmington)was with me the other day when I was collecting the caravan after some warranty work. I needed to buy new extended mirrors prior to setting off and Linda was so helpful in getting them put together and on the car(I definitely needed it) Linda also double checked everything when I hitched up. All the team are great, engineers, staff but Linda went above and beyond and in boiling heat!

We bought our first caravan from Brian this June (Chesterfield), we called and viewed a Bailey caravan which was not quite right for us and Brian recommended we look at the Swift Elegance.

This was perfect and we bought one then and there! They had one in stock and two weeks later (a few additions were added) we collected our first ever caravan!

Having used it on three sites all I can say is it is perfect for us.

Brian at Robinson caravans has been brilliant and very helpful, Scott was really knowledgeable with the Isabella awning recommendation.

Carl was also really helpful with the handover when we collected and hitched up for the first time!

Our experience has been excellent and we highly recommend Robinsons Caravans.

Well what can I say me and my husband purchased a van from the salesperson Brian, from start to finish nothing was too much trouble, however our circumstances changed and couldn’t proceed with our purchase.
