The assistants are rude

This is the worst experience in renting a car the company refuse our full car coverage for reasons that are not included in their legal policy trying to make us Pay for their insurancce without provinding legal reasons.
Moreover the employers are rude and do not show an attitude of helping.

Very accommodating for my need

Very accommodating for my need. They go above and beyond for good customer relations. I have asked for newer tyre vehicle for winter driving, I got almost new vehicle . Very comfortable experience

Rent from anyone but these people.

We have email proof that our "total" rental was $228. Before we left the parking lot, their hidden fees totalled well over $1000.00!!! They bus you miles away from the airport and their competitors, so you frankly don't have much choice.... We returned the car in perfect condition and full of fuel. Got home, only to receive MORE hidden fees!! Overall, the rental was nearly $1300.00. They didn't care if I had email proof or not. We will NEVER, AGAIN USE this deceptive business!

DO NOT RENT FROM THIS COMPANY

DO NOT RENT FROM THIS COMPANY! They cancel your reservation if you are 1 hour late (even though the delay was due to airline). Tried to notify them but you cannot reach anyone on the phone!! Even EXPEDIA tried but it was impossible. They charged me over $250 as processing fee to add my car insurance to their system!! They left all people stranded at their warehouse facility off the Ft. Lauderdale airport after they cancelled their reservations!! They are all crooks. They should be reported to the Better Business Bureau. DO NOT RENT FROM THEM. If you do, you will regret it.

Amazing experience

Vanessa and Carlos were very professional and helpful. Pickup was with Vanessa was quick and seamless and drop off was with Carlos supper fast and hasle free. Thanks guys. I appreciate your professionalism.

Orlando

Booked a rental online for pickup in Orlando, 20 minutes later trid to cancel. No luck there saying 3rd party.
I canceled it because friend told me he used that company before and the car was not road worthy and they tried to screw him out out $1,000. Don't use this company. Now you know why there cheaper.

What a SCAM

What a SCAM. Be careful with them! We rented a vehicle on booking.com and selected 2 car seats. It said the total to be paid at the counter including any fees and taxes will be $179.
When we arrived, the reps won't honour the car seat price listed in the booking.com voucher and made us pay $262!
After countless messages, they called on the last day of our rental (out of 9 days) to ask us to return the vehicle without a full gas tank, but I declined since the tank was full ($80 would not even fit into the tank anyway).
After many many more messages all they had to offer was 10% discount off the next rental, which of course I declined, because NEVER AGAIN am I using Routes!!
I both instances they stressed that these offers are a "goodwill gesture".
What you see on your booking is not what you can expect at the counter!!!
SCAM SCAM SCAM!!!

Can’t cancel 2 months before booking, ridiculous.

Routes comes up as the first “airport” option at the Ottawa airport. You cannot edit or cancel your booking. I found this out after I paid. Since it comes up as an airport option I expect to pick a car up at the airport. But no, it’s a shuttle. Went to cancel and no, cannot cancel or edit. The last thing I want to do after a 5 hour flight is take a 15 min shuttle to get a car and another 15 min to fill out paper work, only to drive another 90 minutes based on my itinerary. Since when can one NOT cancel a rental car two months in advance? Ridiculous.

Hidden Terms - DON"T PAY IN ADVANCE

Hidden Terms - When you pay for a rental in advance, it is non-changeable and non-refundable. This was not clearly pointed out to me at the time of payment (Which I assume it would be since its not standard in the industry) but is hidden in the terms and conditions.

Even when my rental was booked for less than 30 hours, and my rental was 2 months away, they refused to refund.

Terrible customer service.

Returned a vehicle on time, rental confirmed closed, yet a $500 authorization hold was never released. Orlando location insists it’s “closed” but cannot provide any proof of an authorization reversal, while my bank confirms no release was ever sent.

I’ve been bounced between the branch, customer support, and my bank for days, repeatedly told to “wait 10–15 days” or “24–48 hours” with no action taken. No one will email confirmation, no one will escalate, and no one takes responsibility.

If you value your money or your time, do not rent here. This company’s internal processes are broken, and customers are left stuck in an endless runaround just to get their own funds back.

Jayesh, Carlos & Vanessa always take care of me and make the whole experience very smooth. They need a raise ! Lol Very nice cars as well. I’m a regular now.

BAD VIBE & RUIN YOUR VACATION

this review is for
"Routes Car Rental" in Marrakech.
I would give them a zero star. Bad customer service. Hidden fees. FALSE advertising. RUDE agent. VERY DISAPPOINTING experience. They should NOT be allowed to conduct business anywhere ruining my family vacations on day 1. UNACCEPTABLE.

YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED.
