The engineer

The engineer, Jake Basheer, was exemplary, professional and thorough. He displayed great patience and eventually resolved the issue. The CCTV system and Concept Pro App are all working perfectly. He is an asset to ADT.

Terrible customer "care"

ADT is one of the worst and most difficult companies I've ever had the displeasure of dealing with. Since buying my new home, I have been receiving flyers in the mail on a nearly daily basis. I have called twice to get taken off the list. The first time I was told "it's not illegal to send you mail," while the second time I was just told that they don't have my address and that there is nothing that they can do. I have emailed them and I am hoping that that will resolve the issue, but the fact remains, their customer service, for new clients, is so bad that they can't answer a simple query to be taken off a mailing list. They have no scruples, they're just vicious corporate pests. Take your business elsewhere!

Glen came and fitted our alarm system and was an absolute professional and a credit to ADT. The advice and instructions regarding the system was clear and concise making me feel at ease with using the app.

Service, what service

Service, they do not know the meaning of the word, I had to stay in on 3 separate occasions waiting for an engineer who would arrive a) between 9 - 1, next time 9 - 5 third time, by 10am if not please contact service department, we did this the chap who asked us to phone was either not in or unavailable, eventually an engineer turned up on the 4th occasion, you pay for a service but you do not receive any, once they have your money and your contract, nothing, I would not recommend them to my worst enemy. Avoid if you can

I had an ADT contract for 18 months on…

I had an ADT contract for 18 months on July 2020 . One month before , the contract was ending and I gave the termination notice as they say on the policy and even after I continuously received the invoices . And I had contacted by phone 3 times and every time they promised saying they will sort out and I also had to email the accounting department (the customer service ) and explained to them that I had payed the final figured of what they had requested by phone . And I had repeatedly demanded to stop sending the invoices and it’s making stressful . Now , I have received a letter from their solicitors (spray endicott solicitors) and they said that I needed the money again within 7 days . I have full evidence , the emails, the name of the call attender and time ,date everything I have kept myself but these people will always make us depressed and stressful . If you see any review about them they are deeply recommending not to go with ADT . Please do not go with these people as they will create stress for you.

Engineer Carlo Depiano arrived to fit…

Engineer Carlo Depiano arrived to fit our alarm system on Thursday 17th. We had had previous issues with cellular network availability but Carlo managed to sort through all the issues no problem whilst being polite, courteous and extremely professional. ADT should be proud to have him as an engineer.

Zero if I could

Zero if I could. Had a fault and they 6 months later are yet to fix. No correspondence. no info. just silence.

this is my 2nd system after they had to give me a new system and a bunch of credit for months going with an unusable system. now with this one 12 months old and I'm still waiting on a battery. radio silence from them.

The engineer Bradley Marler was…

The engineer Bradley Marler was excellent. He was prompt friendly helpful and changed all the batteries in the system. The four stars are because of his service only. Attempting to contact them
(nothing to do with Bradley) is a nightmare at present. Continual phone message telling you how busy they are due to covid and suggesting you phone back another time. That side is not good and I can see people leaving. I feel sorry for the engineers like Bradley who are working flat out to make it work but being let down by hopeless customer service else where.

What a sham update 2

What a sham! We had a new camera system £40 per month fee for this, an engineer would come out within 4 hours, k phoned at 12.40pm yesterday, they said someone would CALL first, if they couldn't resolve an engineer would come, I've been waiting 21 hours and no call, so what am I paying £40 a month for..... avoid them...
Edit.... they called back 4 days later, did not leave .message I was at work, could not call back on the number they called on, just called them they have booked an engineer NEXT Monday...... so where is the 4 hour call out I'm paying for? Also the man who took call was useless.....
UPDATE 2.....
Engineer came out,he only had 40 minutes, he said 2 out of thev3 cameras need re wiring BUT he didn't have enough time to sort it, he said HE would arrange installation team to come back I told him thurs or Friday, but today is wed and no confirmation of engineer coming thurs or Fri.... but guess what they're still taking my £40 for 4 hour call out.... three weeks later still useless.

Shocking company shocking new area manager for ADT South East
Do not use this company
We had a sales person call at our home
We wanted a wired CCTV system with harddrive recording unit
The salesman said they don't sell that system anymore and said its all wireless now but to have that system we had to take out the house alarm home monitoring system as part of the package at 45 pounds a month to have it monitored
So we reluctantly went ahead
The engineer arrived couldn't install the system becuse the system was new and the got it from America
So we only had half of it installed and had to wait a week for someone to come finish it
We have had the system 1 yr and it's never worked properly
We have had 6 engineers out to re set the permaitersand as I'm writing this today our cameras haven't been recording since last Friday over a week because they have gone over the recording limit for the month which we were told I impossible to do but this is the 4th time in a year its happened
Once in August while on holiday our home was left unprotected
When the engineer come the cut out our existing home alarm which was still working with no faults and was all wired in thru the walls and doorframes they cut out our door connectors and our PIR motion sensors and fitted theres so now our totaly working home alarm is now broken and the ADT ridiculous system doesn't and never has worked 100 per properly
We have waited months for them to come and pick up there equipment and re emberce us for the last 12 months of payments for home monitoring after being told by a manager and engineer on another occasion we were miss sold this system by the salesman because they do sell a CCTV system wired and with a harddrive but sold us this and liied so he would make more commission
We ring ADT daily for weeks no manager has called us back since they now now they miss sold us a system we didn't need and have damaged our existing alarm system beyond repair and we are now getting the run around
Do not use this company for a home alarm guys honest
Try anybody else other than this company we are looking at verisure it's half the price we payed ADT and they have the system we wanted in the beginning but cheaper to install and now we need a new home alarm system as ADT dismantled our wired in one verisure is cheaper monthly payments too
A genuinely frustrated customer
Because of a very very ignorant and rude ADT manager for the South East area who will never reply to you because he thinks he's something special because he's new he can laugh down the phone while I'm describing the the year of trouble we have had with ADT

Great service from Mark Harris for ADT.

An excellent service from Mark Harris today. Mark was extremely efficient, polite, helpful and friendly. He explained everything to us really well making us feel at ease to ask any questions we had. All work completed in good time, Mark tidied up after himself leaving everywhere in our home as he’d found it, and of course leaving us now feeling very secure.
We thoroughly recommend ADT. Thank you Mark!

I am so appreciative for the assistance…

I am so appreciative for the assistance of Bill Kelly, Philadelphia area management for Safe Streets, ADT. Mr. Kelly is a person of integrity who honors his word.

Mr. Jean Metelus, promptly arrived at my home and guided me through the unknown possibilities and the most appropriate resolution for my home safety. As a technician, Mr. Metelus, demonstrated a resolute expertise. He patiently and kindly answered all of my questions whether complicated or minor. He had me manage the system which was a great learning tool. I was given a new level of confidence with the Safe Streets, ADT home operation and a competent knowledge for the security of my home.

Mr. Bill Kelly and Mr. Jean Metelus are an excellent team and great representatives for Safe Streets, ADT.

Responsive and professional.

Glynn arrived promptly to take out our old system. He was courteous, helpful and professional. Both he and Luke, who installed the new system, were brilliant. We are extremely pleased with the way the system was installed and the way the company dealt with our complaint about the sales staff.
