One faulty battery in sensor only…

One faulty battery in sensor only reported. However all batteries were changed in all sensors in spite of person answering the telephone at ADT informing me that the Engineer [Graham Berry] could only replace one. Success
Now awaiting formal Engineers visit to check remainder of system in November.

Customer service is a joke

Customer service is a joke! I sold my home after a year of having an ADT security system installed. I called them to cancel my service. This is a 3-year contract, obviously, I have to buy out the remaining two years of my contract. Service is canceled and I shelled out the $1300 for the remaining two years, I'm done, right? Wrong! I get an email a month later saying the monthly bill of $65 would be deducted from my bank account...Eh? I called them up, "oh yeah this is your final month bill" If I brought out all 3 three years of my contract, how could I possibly have a final bill? "Oh you're right, don't worry, we will put a stop on that transaction, it will not come out of your bank account". The very next day, I have $65 withdrawn from my account...Call back, Um, W..T..F? "oh we are so sorry, the refund has been processed, check your email". 25 days later, I still have not seen a refund hit my account. Ring ring...Where is my money? "Oh we owe you $80 and cannot wire it to your account, it has to be a check" And you didn't call me to tell me this why? *crikets* "I'm so sorry sir, we will mail you a check..." What kind of business model operates like this?

ADT offers a very poor and unreliable…

ADT offers a very poor and unreliable service. The company informed us in March that our alarm system was due for an annual routine check and the next available slot was in early July. We have been ADT customers for 27 years and having suffered for years from their bad service hence we decided to have a new system installed by one of their competitors and to cancel our contract with them. We booked an ADT engineer to come around on 7/7 to take their system down. No engineer arrived, and in the late afternoon we received a call informing that the engineer didn’t have the time to come around for the work, and a new appointment was proposed for 14/7 with a request for a morning appointment. The following day I called the company back to enquire further about the missing engineer. Much to my surprise the service staff, Mark, informed me that in fact the engineer had been booked for the 16/7 and no preferred time slot had been requested. I requested for a morning appointment, but wouldn’t be surprised if I again receive a call informing that the engineer unfortunately didn’t have the time to come around.

Just want to say a massive Thank you to…

Just want to say a massive Thank you to Glen Clarke for fitting our security system. Very professional, very polite and down to earth. He discussed what everything did / how it works aswell as talking us through step by step how to set up the security system if we was asleep/ going out of the house etc.
Glen was very patient with us as we were eager with the app and tried setting up the codes too early in which glen managed to help us and sort it out.. we can finally feel safe in and out of the house and would definitely be recommending ADT security to others!

Following a fault with our home alarm system…

Following a fault with our home alarm system our service engineer today was Jamie Elliot. He was prompt, polite and courteous. He diagnosed the problem, explained what was needed and what he was doing throughout his whole visit. Jamie confirmed that the alarm was in full working order before he left. Great service from Jamie and ADT.

The ADT engineer, David Tuffley, that visited us to do an annual maintenance check was courteous, efficient and conscientious and seems to be thorough. No complaints.

WORST SERVICE EVER!

So we have adt system for 7 months now. The fire alarm went off at 3am, multiple times for no reason whatsoever. We called them, multiple different service guy came to check on it, they even replaced the whole system twice. And guess what, it is f**king the same. We had 6 months to cancel it, we requested that at our 6 month mark and they won’t let us. They gave us multiple reasons, but were not able to fix the issue. It is terrifying when fire alarm will wake you up from a deep sleep. They won’t call you back, they just don’t care. We wanted a security system that will make us safe, not something that will scare the hell out of you. Stay away from this company. Worst service ever! If I can give zero, I would.

ADT Rep Kahina Raja

I Miriam Raukawa-Heke had ADT security cameras installed and my customer service Sales person was Kahina Raja who works for ADT Auckland NZ.
I found her to be very knowledgeable about the product and very good at what she does.
She went above and beyond to answer any queries I had and is so very helpful.
I highly recommend her and in my own opinion she should be sales rep for the year.
I have dealt with so many sales reps over the years and she is one top lady that should be recognised for her hard work thst she does for ADT NZ.
Well done Kahina I am one happy customer and enjoyed dealing with you.
Thanks for your service top lady.

New alarm system fitted 24/2/21 by STEVE HUNT. I cannot fault his workmenship. He was extremely pleasant and 100% experienced in this field ... STEVE went out of his way to explain thouroughly what he was doing and where he was putting the equipment... He left my home clean and tidy.... . (He wore his mask and had feet covers coming into my home). Total respect to this man.

Mr. couch did a great job installing my system he carried him self in a very professional manner and walked through and told me everything that he was going to do beforehand. He was very patient and answered every question I had.

ADT doesn’t tell you that they will…

ADT doesn’t tell you that they will change your monthly charges even though you sign a contract, it’s in the very fine print on page 5. They also do not tell you that they are not liable for anything should they “not respond to monitor during a break in”. So they do not have to do their job or maintain their promise. It’s a huge let down. Cannot write reviews on ADT websites so their website shows fake ratings! Should all be illegal! After reading the real reviews all ADT keeps saying is “we are sorry for your frustrating experience...” but if they were really sorry they would 1. Change the policies their customers are complaining about 2. Ensure potential customers knew about these issues by having them initial the areas of the contract that outline these outrageous stipulations 3. Take down fake ratings and allow these real ratings on their adt website to keep them transparent and honest
