ONE star is too many. Two years in. $55,000 dollars spent. What an utter failure. They take your money. Make promises and do not follow through. When they do, months have passed and the quality of their follow through is well below average. I'm starting with this review and will be posting more for you all to review so you have the chronology of our history with this company. Hopefully, enough of you will steer away. This is all my wife and I have left to reciprocate for the lost investment of our money and our time.

They overcharge for everything, I have had a website for 7 months and no sales, even though they use Facebook and Instagram to post some of the items I offer. Everything they did was overcharged, I used a different company for another website and it was about $3K, the Shopify Designers charged that much for one service, and the total charge for everything was over $50K. I do not recommend them and they are scammers. I recently checked their website, they do not have one now. scammers went out of business and now have changed their name scamming others with a new name

Assistance to the project was helpful for understanding the technical knowledge about the platform.

Kevin Bacon was a true gentlemen to work with, considering my old-age people easily get irritated or show sign of disinterest due to my slow processing or delayed responses.. However, kevin made sure that all my project needs were satisfied, my shopify store is doing so much better and that is all because of this company. Thank you

Just had my logo done with this company they did an exceptional job, the logo was created within a week including back and forth revisions. By looking at their name I thought they only help with building shopify stores but they do have a team which can help in creating logos and even animations.

My experience was made great by the professional behaviour and attitude from the sales rep, there was a bit delay in some amendments but it is understandable because the detailing was in depth, looking forward for the positive outcome and results of my next upcoming projects.

Instead of getting a shopify store i wanted a custom wordpress website for my business because that was better aligning with the type of work i do. We integrated a few plugins to make my website more user friendly and even integrated stripe as a merchant too.. For me these people are one stop shop which fulfilled all my website needs.

This will a little long since i need to highlight the part where i felt they were expensive. Okay so i signed up on their website and started the project, i wasn't aware that shopify has a montly subscription charge that could also be paid annually and that saves a bit of money. Well i didn't want to pay the subscriptiuon fee but i had no option, so yeah...

I had a store up and running but had no idea i could integrate different dropshipping vendors to my shopify store using apis. They charged me for it but educated me during the complete process and now i can work on my own in order to expand my store.

I got a cold call and they tried convincing me to sign up and if i dont like the services i could easily get a refund. Instead i ended up spending on not 1 but 2 websites lol. These guys are really good at what they do.!

As a newbie to this platform i was too skeptic if working with them would give me a satisfactory result while building my shopify store and i am pretty glad with the outcome.

One stop solution provider. Decent project management with transparent communication regarding the services. Highly recommended..

This company is a total scam. I spent a week going back and forth with them about building a shopify website. They shuffle you around to different "staff" who i think is just the same guy trying to sound like a different person. When asked for examples of previous clients, they claimed they built RedBubble, Society6, and stickergiant. LOLOLOL. i even got a call from the "boss of redbubble" who was of course the same guy with an australian accent.
I will only use the designers listed on shopify, and i will inform shopify that they are a scam as well.
I would imagine that even the other 5 star reviewers would be more specific and even include their website addresses if they were actually happy with their work?
I wonder how many of these scam sites there are....

An absolute disaster. I worked with Kevin Bacon and Sam Walter (if those are their actual names) and was billed through Ridgeway Advertising (not sure what that is). The entire process was uncomfortable. Communication was bad and spotty. There was a language barrier with everyone I talked to, which made me cut corners on feedback. Every text was "Can we talk right now?" No professional communication AT ALL. I never saw their faces, cameras always off. Anytime I called them, it sounded like they were all in a call center reading off a list in a small room. Multiple extended gaps in communication, multiple missed deadlines. I wouldn't recommend this site to anyone given the experience I had and am requesting my 100% Money Back Guarantee well within 15 days of going live, but they're currently saying they won't refund me. Maybe they never do because they're scamming snakes, but don't make my mistake again. Do not trust this website.

UPDATE / RESPONSE: You billed me from Ridgeway Advertising and said to trust that it was coming from you. I paid $5,932 over two payments in February. The emails I had correspondence with were kevin.bacon@ and sam.walter@. The phone numbers were (281) 720-8560 and (281) 688-8864. If you don't believe those were your charges, then let's talk about it in your response to the final refund request I sent you on March 3, 2025.

If I could give no stars I would… stay far away from these scammers. All they do is constantly invoice you for something else and drag you on for days, weeks and even months on end with no sales, no professional website, no accountability and absolutely no regard for time, follow up or communication! A big sham!

They made a tremendous store for me and were very cooperative with me at the same time. I found them a bit costly compared to other company I've previously worked with, however the final results on my store was worth it.

Shopify Designers excelled in crafting my website, delivering a visually striking layout that perfectly embodies my brand.

Sam worked closely with me on sharing screen so we could see what needs to be done and fix any development request accordingly.
The customer service was great and I will continue to work with them in supporting my website and develop The LoLuxe Company brand

I [paid for a fully functioning web site and got nothing. Well, that's not exactly true, what I got was a generic home page. Stay away from these people. Update: After seeing my review, they tried to talk me into taking it down. I said no, but I would modify it if I got my money back to say they had promptly refunded my money. Well, it seems that was a scam as well. To date (12/10/24) I have received nothing. I think they're in Pakistan by the way, although they claim to have offices all over the US. LIKE I SAID BEFORE STAY AWAY FROM THESE PEOPLE

They are one of the finest website developers in the game, built my shopify store within a week whereas i was a bit doubtful initially if they were legit. Thank God i invested in the right people.

This was a waste of my time and money. The site was totally stereotypical for my industry - it was as if they didn't read the answers to my intake questionnaire. Then the edits were obtuse and clearly done by novice designers. I have tried to get my money back and "Jonathan" (I won't use his last name in a review) kept pushing me down the line. They also try to sell you ongoing service and maintenance and it is clear that unless you use them, the site they sell you has no update ability like the standard Shopify templates. I'd recommend NOT using them (they will try to sell you a lot more than the intro that gets you in) and find other ways to get your store up. I'd still like a refund since I will end up having to build my own store anyway.

AN UPDATE: I have finally received 50% of my fees back as a "refund." I agreed to this because the company has been a painful experience and although they agreed to offer me a new designer to redo the site, I simply wanted to be done. The site they set up has load speeds of 4.3 seconds (rated poor) and a visual stability rating of 1.38 (also rated poor). But they said that I should be satisfied. But I am done, the numbers above are for actual site performance, and you can take this review as information as you look to make a decision. Using the templates Shopify provides (especially some of the higher rated ones you pay for) will save you money, get you better performance, and be in a system where you get updates as the templates are updated over time. That's the much better route.
