Tom (the man in charge of the league) was always helpful, and offered lots of extra games, and was very understanding about missed/late payments. But the league itself isn’t the best, there was only 1... See more

OUT ON BALE - FOLKSTONE LEAGUE
Me and my team play in the folkstone league (Sun) and have a great time every week playing good quality football and never have a problem. The league is well manager by Lewis and will let u know any changes in good time and will work with you to reach the best outcome. Would recommend to everyone.

OUT ON BALE
Not bad
Inconsistent refereeing for the money being paid . Very short games. If a match kicks off late , the full time whistle still goes at the allocated finish time . We now time our matches because of this . The communication from the people who run the programme is really good , and everyone is very friendly . The atmosphere is great and our whole team enjoy playing .
The overall experience is positive
The overall experience is positive, from the league manager to the boys who run the games, the only negative is the consistency amongst the refs at the games

Fantastic setup. Well organised and a great bunch of teams / players.
Lewis who runs the league is brilliant and keeps you informed of game times and everything you need!
Highly recommend!

Always have a fa ref
Lewis let’s me know if any changes e.g
Kick off times, change of opponent etc.
League and fixtures are always up-to-date
Lewis sends out messages weekly.
Lewis is very polite and does his best to make sure the league is ran as smoothly as possible.
Great to turn up and play without worrying about anything.
Easy, enjoyable and ran really well

Leaky blinders
Can never leave always threatened with court/baliffs etc
We signed up for a league on a Thursday night and thought we would be able to leave if we didn’t enjoy it etc and after the first game requested to leave the league and agreed with the league manager Lewis that we would be able to leave when a replacement is found he said it would be 2-3 weeks since then it has been 6-7 weeks and we’ve seen a team replaced (I have screenshots of the teams changing in the league) and when we say we cannot play anymore as we literally don’t have 6 players we get threatened with court etc and was told we should play with 4 players if we can’t get 6 which 1 wouldn’t be enjoyable for us or the other team and 2 is not really professional from the company and we are by far the worst team in the league already and lose every week it just isn’t worth the money for us and I have never written a review about anything in my life but feel like it needs to be put out there that once your in a league you can never leave and when you try to leave they threaten and scaremonger you with court/baliffs , alls we want to do is be removed from the league so we can get on with our lives without being forced to play football when we don’t have enough and we can’t really afford it anymore also we had one week where the referee refused to ref the game as the opposing team had caused him issues which is also unprofessional from him and I doubt he is fa qualified which I plan on finding out if he is or not but all in all I would advise anyone to avoid this company as you can never get out and they just want money from you
Please just let us leave the league !

Best league I’ve played in
Played in the Swindon leagues for a few seasons now. All teams turn up every week and very rare you get let down. Decent refs and class new pitch at Swindon Academy
Thursdays pressure release
Hi Guys,
I would like to say thanks for the two seasons that we have been involved in the soccersix league.
You have really made us feel welcome and the referees have always been fair with a great sense of humour, let face it, it’s a tough task trying to please 12 lads.
Thanks again

Soccer sixes - Park House
Fun league, been playing for over 5 years and always really quick to resolve any issues. Good standard and a good way to spend a Tuesday night!
A FINANCIAL TRAP!
AVOID THIS APPALLING COMPANY!!! Many teams cannot complete the full 20- 22 game season they have signed up to. Soccer sixes know this but will threaten you almost immediately with court action unless you pay the £35 per game missed. This soon adds up to hundreds of pounds with individuals paying rather than have a court order hanging over them. DO NOT JOIN!!!!!

Well organised.
Played in the Newbury league. Well run, and good at communication.
The main let down was the rules. Not being allowed in the box caused problems as refs didn't know whether or not players stepped in which caused arguments. Keepers only allowed to throw when outfield players were allowed to "kick in" was also abit confusing. On multiple occasions we had different rules depending on what ref we had on that week.
Overall, my experience was good and Tom(our league manager) was great. We left the league because we lacked players with no issues when the season ended.
Collecting Stories about SoccerSixes
I joined a soccer sixes league recently and it’s been a total shambles. The short of it is that none of our team want to play anymore and so I’m in the process of getting us out of the league.
Anyway… googling about it sent me down a rabbit hole of hundreds of peoples bad (illegal?) experiences of being tied into lifetime contracts and not being allowed to leave even when giving requested notice. I decided to go to our games this week just to talk to the other teams and see what they were saying…
Anyway it turns out our league is almost all made up of teams from previous seasons who they haven’t let leave despite giving notice etc. They’ve been threatened with legal / being reported to FA on a groundless basis to the extent they’re scared to leave. One young kid is so terrified that he can’t pick up the phone to them anymore as he’s been called a c*nt etc and shouted at so much.
Anyway, I’m confident I can get out the league and if they take me to court I’ll fight it and have a good case… but I want to stop them doing this repeatedly over and over. There’s a lot of intimated people out there who can’t leave the leagues.
I’m working on building a case to report to the FA and the press etc and would love any stories of what they’ve done in the past.

Me and my mates have tried to leave the…
Me and my mates have tried to leave the Ipswich league due to illness and unavailability from other players. However Richard has now denied us from leaving. We now understand why his called Richard the dick. The quality of the games are absolutely shocking, with poor refs, only 20 minutes playing time which equals a pound a minute to play. The organisation is terrible as well, they couldn’t organise a gang bang in a brothel
Over all, just avoid this league and go play at goals
Decent league
Willenhall league
Not a bad league. Would deffo join if you want some competition and a good game. Make sure you have enough players to play as it would be a struggle to play else. It’s a good and fun place to play.

Played in the Soccer6’s league for over 5 years now and it’s been tough, football is great, pitches are great and having a competitive league is fantastic! The refs are a nice bunch too! We’ve had our problems but that’s more to do with other teams rather than Soccer6’s
Still playing and looking forward to the next season!
Brighton League
(Posted again as my last one got removed) Started off okay but then it went south quick. My team mates could no longer attend so i requested to leave with about 11 weeks until the end of the season. I was told that it would take a couple of weekfind to find another team to take over for us. I totally understood this .. So here we are 11 weeks later and nearly £400 out of pocket. I've been keeping and eye on the league and there are other teams dropping out and and being replaced except us! When questioned about this they denied this happened but it clearly said online there were new teams. All this company care about is taking your money. If there is a problem with your payment they are on you like hawks. They will harrass and hound you for your money. Any other problem you might have they couldn't care less about.
The football level was a pretty high standard to be fair to the others in the league.
The refs seemed like they couldn't be bothered to be there and spent most of the time looking at their phone rather than watching the game. One of the refs was friends with another team so most decisions would go their way.
Overall avoid SoccerSixes UK at all costs. All its done is make me angry, stressed and it's cost me lots of money.
Harpenden Monday Night League
The pitch is great but it ends there. Communication is nonexistent unless they're chasing money. Requests for postponements, rearrangements or anything outside of you paying S6 are ignored. There is no ref despite it being a legal requirement. Other reviews on this site for this same league appear to be fraudulent. I like having a run out, but the experience could be so much better.

Soccersixes review
Good league that’s ran in an organised way with good contact from organisers to clubs. Easy access to their website were u can view your teams fixtures and results! A well organised set up!
Poor experience
We’re a group of 18/19 year olds, and having to pay £32 a game alone is mental but we stuck with it and paid for all games we played/missed. We decided as we’re all splitting up for uni to request our leave, which we gave around 6 weeks notice of. The league manager said it’ll take a bit longer to find a replacement team so we continued for another 4 weeks despite not really having the funds between us nor the players. I then drew the line and said to the league manager (Lewis Ludlow) that we really can’t do this anymore as the money is coming out of my pocket and everyone’s gone to university now. He didn’t reply, then proceeded to tell us our kick off time the day before the match. On the day of the match we were informed we couldn’t leave and we’re bound to a contract essentially. We were then told we’d let a team down since we didn’t show but I had messaged him the week before saying we won’t be there. Come to today, and have had a message telling me we basically owe a lot of money and it should be paid immediately. Usually this would be okay but we were then accused of often being no shows which is a blatant lie and that we owe £96 but he’s going to charge us only £64 ‘to help us out’. Which basically means they’ll keep the deposit we paid at the start of the season and make us pay an additional £64. Earlier in the season we had a player assaulted badly and he withdrew himself from our team, to which the league manager didn’t do much (to our knowledge; fair enough if something was done) to the other team. The refs themselves also told us if we’re not able to make a game due to circumstances such as uni separation then it’s beyond our control and we shouldn’t be expected to play or pay. Again, after being told this we were then told the complete opposite from Lewis. All in all we just want to leave the league.
Edited Point: We’ve since been allowed to leave the league after this review was posted, guessing this made the league manager fold. End of the day was enjoyable at the time, league manager is only doing his job so can’t fault him for that and maybe it’s soccer sixes themselves who need to sort it out.
Good little league to play in
Good little league to play in, organised well and ahead of time. League manager was good, great communication throughout.
Have to admit sometimes the refs were a bit dodgy as they didn’t watch the game and would give whoever shouted the loudest the decision but besides that a good experience.
