Reece was extremely professional today, hard worker and extremely pleased with my fitted wardrobes would highly recommend his services.

THE GOOD:

The designer contributed with good ideas in addition to our own and was very helpful and patient. She brought plenty of samples for us to look at and compare. We also liked the fact that the computer design was done after the first visit is complete, hence the designer is able to spend more time perfecting it without interruption or distraction from the customer. The designer then comes back to see you and talk through the designs for any tweaks. This saves a lot of time.

Their Broadway range is exactly what we were looking for as it matches the style of our internal doors. The finshed product looks great and is well fitted.

There were problems with the installation (see below) but to their credit they were quick to deal with these and we were happy with how they were resolved.

THE NOT SO GOOD:

One of Spacemaker's big selling points for us was that they promise the wardrobes will be fitted 'within 3 weeks' from signing the contract, which is pretty much half the time of the other players in this market. However, this did not happen. Fair enough they only missed the deadline by a few days but still...

We were told that it would be a 2 man fit and be completed in one day. This did not happen either. Avoidable damage was done to the wall on our staircase during unloading which had to be repaired. We had to wait another week for the job to be completed.

CONCLUSION:

Overall we would definitely recommend them and buy from them again. We are very pleased with the finished product and what it cost. As regards feedback to the company, we would say that there is room for slightly better internal communication in their installations department but this is a very minor thing.

Every step of the process, from design to Installation Spacemaker team were great to work with.

Amazing experience. Fitter Harry was a very professional and very talented person who gave me the expertly fitted wardrobe that lve always wanted. Would definitely recommend him and Spacesaver, l think their amazinh,so over the moon with their over all service.

Overall from the consultation to installation this was a seamless experience, fast, clear and communicative. The installation day went great with Mark and Ben doing the fitting, arrived on time, and completed in 3 hours, no fuss. Even helped me put my heavy bed bag down. Happy with the end product too.

Dan did a great job installing my wardrobes. I was expecting to have to tidy up but the room was left pretty much spotless and the wardrobes look great.

The fitter was very efficient and did an excellent job at fitting the cupboards under the stairs.

New advisor visited quickly after a call to register interest in their products. Initial deposit paid, next step surveyor to visit. Clearly experienced but not very customer friendly. Next payment made and suitable dates agreed. I did have to call office several times for receipts of payments, names of people coming. Dan arrived to fit wardrobes in 2 bedrooms. Dan worked extremely hard and all work completed in 2 days to a good standard. Tidied, cleaned and removed all packaging. Have to have another quick visit as handles missing. Very satisified with product and Dan's workmanship from a young man. Likes his cuppa, no problem when working so hard. Final payment will be made when job finished with handles in place. Office staff have to be contacted, not good at contacting customer unless for payment but Dan excellent.

Having used this company around 18 years previously, we knew the quality would be good, as those fitted wardrobes were still going strong, when we recently moved house. Spacemaker’s were great from the start with the design by Nicola, to the survey by Steve, finally to the installation by Gary & Reece, who were very helpful & professional, working constantly until the work was done, doing a fantastic job & also clearing up afterwards too. We were so pleased with our fitted loft wardrobes & know that the quality is great.

Reece has done another fantastic job for us today fitting our second lot of wardrobes. Everything left neat and tidy. Would highly recommend Spacemaker.

At the start of the third purchase for Space Makers I was going to write am amazing review but after they took my money the level of customer care has drastically declined to a position where I wouldn't touch them again unfortunately. At every stage I've had to chase for a delivery update as no one gets back to you. The first delivery wasn't to the specification that I believed I ordered. The handles were wrong, the colour was different to the other furniture I had previously ordered in the same range and the item was damaged. Again after many phone calls try to get this sorted they come back with the colour line has been decommissioned and they haven't informed me. So they have sales staff going out to clients homes selling a product that they no longer stock. Eventually after my issue gets raised to the manging director of the company, a compensation amount was agreed and I thought the issue would now be resolved with a replacement product due to the one that was delivered was faulty. Again after many phone calls to the customer service department trying to chase a delivery date, I eventually got one. Now the situation I'm in, I have the product but still after 1 month (over 3 months after the start) after final delivery I'm still trying to chase this compensation payment that was agreed with no return phone calls. I do believe this is the worse customer care I've ever experience, its a shame as the company used to be great hence the returning custom.

We have used Spacemaker over the last 18 years 3 times now and they never disappoint. Our latest Bedroom is stunning and the customer service from start to install was amazing. Top quality and long lasting!

Just had Steve C visit taking measurements and producing detailed drawings - really impressed!

We have just had the wardrobes installed. Time will tell if the product is as good as promised but, as of today, installation was professional, straight forward and fast. Spacemaker were happy to accommodate our schedule and the times from the date of signing were kept.

Professional job. Really happy with our new wardrobes.

Mark arrived on time and is extremely good at his job he had a few problems to deal with but he dealt with it 100% .
I have seriously never had a workman so polite, no mess left for me to tidy up after he’d gone and the job was done exactly as I wanted .
Highly recommend mark to be your fitter and still in shock how quickly he finished job .
