This was the WORST customer service I have EVER experienced. I purchased a very expensive mens jacket online and when I received my confirmation email I noticed the shipping address was incorrect. I clearly know what my address is and did not enter this information. I tried to contact customer service but the only contact method was by email. When they responded to my email I was told that they cannot modify the shipping address once the order was placed. I was also unable to cancel my order. I was advised to go to the shipping address and let the individual know there was an error and to keep an eye out for package - Can you imagine this??? During a pandemic too!!!! After I spent over $600 on a jacket. WORST WORST WORST customer service ever. I will NEVER again make a purchase through this store. STAY AWAY. You can purchase the same items through other retailers who offer much better customer service.

Excellent Customer service
I had a great experience with Sporting life company and staff. I got a pair of hiking shoes which didn't work out for me. I was able to return them and exchange them for a bigger size at no extra cost. The sales person and the manager were very helpful and understanding. Their first priority was my satisfaction and comfort. This was the Brentwood location in Burnaby BC. I highly recommend the store to everyone.

Order # p01331862 And partial order p01327820 - the delivery guy dropped to the wrong address but good thing that he took pictures at where he dropped the boxes. After I contacted to sporting life by emails back and forth and request them to send me the replacement as I need items asap! i was told that i have to wait for investigation and it will take for 5-10 business days. I felt like i get pushed when it’s not my false even i told csr that I can’t wait…. That’s not good customer service that I expected!! I like sporting life before but now i have to re-evaluate it.

I bought a pair of running shoes online which was lost by Canada post. I tried several weeks contacting sporting life company and no resolution. The charges is still on my credit card. Sporting life is reluctant to respond and resolve this matter. Both companies are blaming eachother and no one is taking any responsibility. I am unable to speak to a life representative at Sporting life, because their complaints process is only online which takes forever. As a consumer I am very exhausted and disappointed with sporting life approach as I was told by canada post they are waiting on sporting life to start the investigation process. Just a year ago I bought a Moose Knuckles jacket which cost over $1300.00 and a pair of UGS boots $200 @ sporting life, considering my recent experience I will never shop at that store. I will explore Holt Renfew or Harry Rosen! They have just lost a customer!
Awful online shopping experience
I ordered some running shoes online but they fit small when I got them. I wanted to return the shoes and get the correct size, however, Sporting Life does not cover any shipping return costs, even considering the fact that their stores are closed at the moment due to COVID-19 and shipping items back to the store is the only way of returning something. After numerous email I finally got a response and I wanted to know wht my order sat in heir warehouse for almost a week befor eit got shipped and Sporting Life literally tried to put the onus on Canada post while my parcel had not even been shipped. I told them this issue this is your companies issue and the fact that you just totally avoided my main concern shows me that your company does not put your customers first
My main concern was why my parcel sat from April 3 to April 8 and didn’t get in the mail system until the evening of April 8 so it sat for almost a full week in the warehouse before it got shipped out and I have a feeling it only got shipped out because I sent a support ticket in asking where my parcel was.
I will be sending the sneakers back as soon as I get them in three freakin weeks which is unbelievably unacceptable, are they coming from overseas? I order many parcels from across Canada and I usually get them in 3-5 Business days.
In Syed's(customer service agent) reply he not only put the onus on Canada Post but Sporting Life knew
since January that Canada post was experiencing delays then why would they not pick an alternate courier or send your parcels expedited. Why do I have to wait three weeks that is absolutely ridiculous, they are in Canada already, not overseas.
The email response that I received actually aggravated me even more and made me even more irritated as my main concern was totally disregarded and trying to put the onus on Canada post when it wasn’t even their issue the issue was why sat that in your warehouse for so long?????
I also asked what was going to be done to rectify this terrible situation and once again totally avoided which is super super unprofessional as a company and blaming Canada post that is just dirty dirty dirty.

Pleasantly Surprised
I will admit, after reading the reviews, I was quite skeptical about making a purchase from this website. However, my experience was great. The package arrived quickly, no items were missing, and the prices were good. There seems to be a lot of unhappy customers, but I had no problems whatsoever.

These guys are crooks. I ordered 3 items from Sportinglife. I received 2. My order still said pending and when I contacted them they told me my order had been shipped in full and they refused to refund or send the 3rd item. Their customer service is horrible. I will never buy from here again.

Do not order anything from them online!!! Absolute worst customer service ever! They send you an email saying your product has shipped and when you try to reach them nobody gets back to you. After 3 attempts to email them, they finally get back and say they are investigating this. Total BS!!!! Days later they send an email the product was returned back to them and they are issuing a refund. I recommend anyone ordering do not as they have the worst service ever!!!!

I have ordered 8 items online from Sporting Life over the past two months. I receive an email confirming my order and the next day or two I receive an order cancelled/out of stock email. What a major waste of time and effort. They have the worst inventory systems in Canada. Very frustrating. I don't have these issues with other online retailers. They are ruining what was once a stellar reputation. Maybe it's time to upgrade their sales/inventory systems to actually sell what's in stock vs. phantom items.

If you go to store great service, online sucks there is no customer service voice contact anymore and it takes days before they may or may not reply to your online request for help. Ordered items Dec26, no contact and still to this date Jan25 my purchased item have not arrived. Customer Service has been reduced to automated system so you can't contact a live agent as a result, your concern is a ticketed response. I think this store is hoarding peoples money and no items are being shipped as demonstrated by people below so there is cash flow to pay their creditors.
