They don't care about the loyal customers, even though I have almost 10 years of loyalty with Starnet!

I want to tell you an unimaginable situation with this company. Coming to visit Moldova I had to internet for two months. Random I decided to go to Starnet. They told me they didn't have packages for two months and I had to pay for three and a half months. Of course at an exaggerated monthly price. But that doesn't matter, the quality of the Starnet services matters. I mentioned the lady ex officio that I will only use WiFi. She told me, according to the contract I will have a 200MB/s internet. After installing my internet or started problems. I received a stable speed of 30MB/s - 45MB/s instead of 200MB/s. Seeing a speed 5 times lower, I called the Customer Support Service. They could not help me and promised me for an hour that I will receive a sound from a technician. I waited a few weeks (about 2-3) and I still received no sound. After this long time I called the second time. Again I was told that I will receive a sound from a technician for two hours. I waited for 4 hours and no one called me. I called again desperately to talk to a manager to solve the situation. On the phone a very arrogant manager was found. I went to the office the next day. I met the second arrogant person. They are not ashamed to lie to you in front. The manager told me directly in front of me that I lie to them and that I did not call the customer service to my first call. Uau. It seems to me a scam company from the 90's. To explain to you already what was the problem with the Internet speed. According to her contract I give 200MB/s internet only by cable, but the equipment that installs it physically supports maximum 60MB/s. I asked to change my equipment to a more efficient one and they told me that my contract does not allow. True scams. When I told them that the lady from the Starnet Office confirmed to me the speed of 200MB/s through WiFi. The manager advised me to read the contract before signing it. I mean, I understand that I should not trust the words of Starnet staff.
Tip: If you come from abroad and you will need an internet for a short period, bypass the star.

Vreau sa va povestesc o situație de neimaginat cu aceasta companie. Venind în vizită în Moldova mia trebuit internet pe doua luni. Aleatoriu am decis sa merg la StarNet. Ei mi-au zis ca nu au pachete pe doua luni și am fost nevoit sa platesc pe trei luni și jumătate. Desigur la un preț lunar exagerat. Dar asta nu contează, contează calitatea serviciilor de la StarNet. Am menționat doamnei din oficiu ca mă voi folosi doar de WiFi. Ea mi-a spus, conform contractului voi avea un internet de 200Mb/s. După ce mi-au instalat internetul sau început problemele. Am primit o viteza stabilă de 30Mb/s - 45Mb/s în loc de 200Mb/s. Văzând o viteza de 5 ori mai mică, am sunat serviciul suport clienți. Ei nu m-au putut ajuta și mi-au promis timp de o ora ca voi primi un sunet de la un tehnician. Am așteptat câteva săptămâni (aproximativ 2-3) și tot n-am mai primit nici un sunet. După acest timp îndelungat am sunat a doua oară. Iarăși mi sa spus ca voi primi un sunet de la un tehnician deja timp de doua ore. Am așteptat 4 ore și nimeni nu ma sunat. Am sunat din nou disperat sa vorbesc cu un manager sa rezolve situația. Pe telefon mi sa nimerit un manager foarte arogant. M-am dus în oficiu a doua zi. Am întâlnit a doua persoana aroganta. Ei nu se rușinează sa te minciuneasca în fata. Managerul mia zis direct în fata ca eu îi minciunesc și ca eu NU am apelat serviciul clienți la primul meu apel. Uau. Mi se pare o companie de escroci din anii 90. Sa va explic deja care a fost problema cu viteza de internet. Conform contractului ei dau internet de 200Mb/s doar prin cablu, dar echipamentul care vi-l instalează susține fizic maximum 60Mb/s. Am cerut sa îmi schimbe echipamentul pe unul mai performant și mi-au zis că contractul meu nu permite. Escroci adevărați. Când le-am zis ca doamna din oficiul StarNet mi-a confirmat viteza de 200Mb/s prin WiFi. Managerul ma sfătuit să citesc contractul înainte de al semna. Adică, mia dat de înțeles ca nu trebuie sa am încredere în vorbele personalului de la StarNet.
Sfat: dacă veniți de peste hotare și va trebuie un internet pe o perioada scurta, ocoliți StarNet-ul.

This is an internet provider with very good customer support and also an excellent price/quality ratio. Sometimes there are minor short-term outages, but the price is more than reasonable for the SLA provided.
