they sell items they dont have, the shipping date changed every week for 3 moths and then they cancelled it. i asked why they cancelled but nobody knew it. still waiting for my money back.

Ordered items on line and when they came in it was not what I anticipated, I live in Alaska and just cause I do they would NOT pay for return freight.
This is the united states not some third world country.
Never buy from these guys again and we have several people here that buy from Summit.
I will steer them to different company!

I ordered a Rotofab cold air induction system from Summit. Not only was it incorrectly listed for my year of car on their website, but they refused to make it right. I had to call the manufacturer and they took care of the issue. Summit racing may be a legend but their customer service is terrible!! I would recommend buying your performance parts elsewhere.

I know most customers on a site like this are looking to complain. I understand their frustration as I have been in their shoes with other companies in the past, simply looking for a place to vent. However Summit Racing recently went so far above and beyond with me as far as customer service that I have been actively seeking these sites to simply give a positive review. They did not have to assist me, they could have simply stood behind the fact that the warranty was expired or other company policies. However they allowed me to explain the special circumstance surrounding the issue and made a decision based purely on customer service and satisfaction. That is a rare trait in today's impersonal online selling routine. It was very much appreciated. I will continue to shop there with no worries. Thank you.

I spent over 4000 dollars at summit a couple weeks ago I had some questions on a engine I purchased the feller”maverick” was ignorant when he found out I wasn’t buying just had questions he then offered me no 0 info at all he shortly hung up after I asked if he was there to just take my money and not to help anyone after they buy from him! I called jegs they offered me all of the info plus a lot more on the engine I bought from there competitor . I wish I would have bought from jegs they are polite, knowledgeable in the mechanical field and willing to help no matter what. Honestly ppl jegs is the way to go in the last year I’ve wasted 8-9000 dollars at summit same result every time. Just learn from my mistakes!

I sfart ordering parts from summit since 1988. Their parts are okay. The only problem I have with them is, they have too much back orders.

I ordered several parts for my small block chevy. Everything was going smoothly until the packages arrived. The fittings I ordered were not chrome to match the fuel filter I ordered. When I went and checked my email to make sure I ordered the right part it showed a picture of a chrome straight barbed adapter which is what I believed I ordered. So I called to see what went wrong. This is where the problem came in. The guy on the line seemed agitated that I was calling. Tells me ya the picture is of a chrome piece but you ordered a black 1. In small print at the bottom when you scroll down its says black swivel not chrome straight. He was not much help and blamed me for not ordering the correct part. Be careful and read everything even the smallest print. Picture can show 1 thing and you will get another. No help after that either. He Just told they dont have chrome parts in so I pretty much had to deal with it or get my parts else where. So that's what I'm going to do. I figure they did not have the chrome parts in I ordered so they
took liberty and sent these black ones instead. They need to make three online store easier to know what you are ordering and they need better customer service. Even if I did accidentally order the wrong part they should of been nicer in helping me fix it. Not just write me off. F for customer service. C for eas of use on there website.

I ordered a Steering Box from a discount online store to save a couple bucks & waited 3 weeks & never got the part.
I then ordered from Summit Racing, and 4 days later, i got the part & was driving my truck again. And i already got my Core Refund!
The email updates/tracking are excellent.

I just canceled my most recent order after my second--and what will be my last--bad experience with Summit Racing Equipment. First, I placed this order on a Thursday night and expected it to ship on Friday, like most outstanding online retailers do. It didn't. When I need auto parts, I need them as soon as I can get them, not as soon as the retailer can get around to it.

Second, they charged me $9.99 shipping for a set of polyurethane bushings that could be stuck in a padded envelope and mailed for maybe $3.00.

Finally, they charged me almost 80 cents more sales tax than is legally allowed by my state. Quite an interesting scam they have going here.

When I called to cancel my order, it was quick and easy (presuming I get my refund in a timely manner). So quick that the customer service agent didn't even ask or care about WHY I was canceling. That told me a lot about the quality of this company and its level of commitment to customer satisfaction.

There are many truly outstanding online sellers of auto parts who will work hard to earn your business and respect. Choose one of them.

They sell defective parts, then you're stuck with them. They don't accept returns. Their suggestion: "Sell it locally."

Horrible and rude staff. Ordered through Ebay buy it now price. They claimed they made a pricing error and I was SOL oh but have a 20 % of LAME. They further claimed that they talked to Ebay and were in the right which was a complete lie after I called and spoke with Ebay. They next told me it was my fault as I should have known the price was too good to be true. Really their pricing was not my responsibility? Get real. The guy I spoke to was rude abrasive and a just truly a not nice person. I am shocked that a company that I have dealt with for years would decide to treat their customers like this. I have been using Ebay and Summit Racing for a long time and I have never dealt with ethics like this before. Very disappointed in their staff and ethics. Shady shady people.

I have spent a lot of money with this company. The only gripe I have is that it is hard to find things on their site. Search engine is so-so. They are good at what they go and I never had an issue.

great company to deal with ,good value for products,shipping was fast as well, i recently bought a car cover from them, great cover,fits well,shipping was fast,highly recommend summit racing,ill be buying lots from them in future for sure.

I've been ordering through Summit Racing for years now. I would actually hate to see what I've spent there. They almost always have the parts I need in stock and at the lowest prices (sometimes I need some odd stuff). The free shipping is great too. If you have any problems, they are more than happy to help with what you need. Their shipping has always been fast, no matter which warehouse they ship from. They are my go to store for performance car parts and the first place I look.

They got what you need and ship it fast. Been using them for years never disappointed.
