Very disappointing response.

My last purchase with you was indeed my last.
I contacted you regarding my order and the amount of dust it contained. It’s a tea that I’ve purchased in the past and it has never contained so much dust.
I provided photographs but despite this I was told that there was nothing wrong with the tea.
I accept that even when buying whole leaf tea there will be some some dust included but this was way too much to be acceptable. If it was cheap supermarket tea I could understand but it isn’t.
I have since found an alternative supplier and I happy to say that their tea is of a higher standard.

A wide range of teas catering for most tastes

I have always enjoyed the selection of teas - particularly the more perfumed ones, both black and green - offered by Tea Palace, since the shop opened in Westbourne Grove and then moved to Covent Garden. However, I abandoned them when they went exclusively online - until the pandemic obliged me to adjust to this form of shopping, since when having stuff delivered from Tea Palace has been a godsend.

Hi David, thanks for this message and your returning custom. We have listened carefully to comments regarding closing the Covent Garden store and only being available online.

So I’m pleased to announce we will be opening a retail shop / tea bar in the next couple of weeks on the Strand. I’ll make sure we send you an official invitation to the launch of the store.

Exact address: 370 Strand, WC2R 0JF (located opposite the Savoy and in the Strand Palace hotel).

Many thanks, Daniel

Delivers a good cup of tea

I've been a customer for several years first in their Covent Garden shop and now I don't go to London so often I'm pleased that I can still by the teas in the online shop which provides a very good service. Tea Palace offers an extensive and interesting range of high quality black teas. While not necessarily the cheapest, TP has from time to time good offers so you can try different blends. Definately recommend them!
