Waste of time

Waste of time. Results hidden behind paywall, which they are not upfront about. I checked the front page extensively and nowhere did it mention that you would need a paid subscription to see results, as some other sites mention this.
Only get 45 minutes lunch break, and wasted 15 of those on this.

Confusing and not recieved what I payed for

The test and result I recieved were fine. But I pay for the two extra tests and that was a mistake . Money was taken and that we did the test with the website wanted me pay for it again. Then they gave me some kind of code and not sure where to put the code ! When I complained they said it will go to manger. So disappointing why would people do that.

Poorly constructed test, results hidden behind a paywall

- thecareertest.org don't have any way for site visitors to validate the reviews they list on their site. they don't link, for example, to trust pilot or any other valid review site, so there is no way to determine whether the reviews listed on their website are genuine.
- there is a paywall blocking test results, and test takers aren't informed of this until after they have completed the test
- some of the questions included in the test are double barrelled, use loaded and vague language, or are otherwise poorly constructed and not in line with basic research/testing standards (let alone best practice)
- one would expect a quality test given that results are behind a paywall.

Terrible

Terrible, paid service, don’t tell you before, don’t waste your time, it’s more of a personality test not even close to a career inclined, Not even a question about preference/skill/domain you might be interested or good at. Lack of simple questions like if you want a science or social career etc.
I’m happy to spend here a few minutes extra just to spare others 20 minutes of their lives visiting this website.

Time wasted

You take your time to do the test just to see afterwards that you have to pay for the results.

Say it before we waste our time, scammers.

Not obvious theirs a charge.

Not obvious theirs a charge.
Took the long test, then it asks for payment to give the results. Waste of time, definitely free ones out there, why would I pay...

You understand it's not free ONLY AFTER the test

You go on their website and it's like extremely simple and inviting to just "take the test". Takes 2 clicks to start the test. Then after dozens and dozens and dozens of questions I realize I need to pay $19 or $24.

I feel this is predatory marketing as they cajole you into taking action to only then inform you what the deal is.

Fully understand it's a business and not charity organization, but they should be more transparent about the offer in the first place. Or they can share at least some findings of the test for free.

I'd never pay to these guys now, even that's the best test!
