Awful, don't buy from these scammers. They take your money and there is no book at the end of it! I think that is known as theft? They pretend to send a digital copy . Never mind its nothing Fraud Action wouldn't mind being informed about!

Wish I'd read the reviews before ordering. Like everyone else I've been waiting for my book to be delivered not realising it's a download, don't even seem to have a link to download. They have not replied to my email of over a week ago. False advertising, false company.

Orderd then read reviews. Cancelled immediately 3 hours later a download was sent I have not downloaded .. it was not made clear it was not a hard copy .. have emailed no response..I've been had like everyone else ! Do yourself a favour don't use this company !

Like everyone else says, this is a scam - I ended up going to trading standards and will go to my bank next, its a small price, but its not the point - I urge everyone to do the same and get this clown shutdown.

This company needs to be stopped from trading!!!

Its a scam. They must spend all day fending off complaints from annoyed victims. Best thing: report to hmrc and trading standards. Its a bunch of losers scamming hard earned money out of regular, decent people.

If only there was an option to give zero stars.

I have emailed the company and been refused a refund so I will be taking this up with Action Fraud UK and Trading Standards.

This is a scam. Advertise books, at no time until you receive receipt does it then says it's a download. Probably breaking all copy right laws. Feel certain authors and publishers are unaware they are copying and selling digital copies of their books.
Should have checked Trustpilot, all negative responses, with similar feedback. Everyone believing they were buying a paper version not digital download.
Refusing to give a refund, I will be taking this further. As contravening the Consumer Act 2015.

Exactly the same review as everyone else.... mislead into thinking I was ordering an actual book... nowhere did it state that it was an e-book I was buying. I didnt download it, contacted the company to ask to cancel the order. They didn't have the manners to even reply. I paid by credit card, not that its a big sum of money but as a matter of principle I think I will contact my credit card and advise them of the situation. They might be able to return the money but more importantly perhaps be able to do something about this company's misleading website.

If there was a 0 star I'd use it. Do not buy from this company - nowhere does it state digital version. I'm sure they are breaking all copyright laws and that authors and publicists are unaware of books being copied and sold digitally!!

I ordered a book last week and not until I had paid did I realise I was getting an ebook - nowhere on the site did it say that. I have emailed them twice, I have used their contact form twice and I have phoned and left a message - no response from any thing. Complete rip off - do NOT use this company!

I too have just fallen for their sales pitch regarding a book. At no point does it mention it is a digital copy, leading you to think you are getting a paper copy.

WARNING! AVOID! They will rip you off by asking for your delivery details and then send you a digital copy of the book! I questioned this and explained that they do not state anywhere on their website that their books are digital. I was flatly refused a refund, so I went on my online banking (where you can report a fraud or scam), and I reported them and I got my money back. It wasn't a huge amount of money, but the point is, this company is making money by ripping folk off! Don't let them get away with it! REPORT THEM!

Same experience as everyone else, wish I had seen reviews before purchasing. Ordered a book, entered delivery address, they advertise ‘free delivery’, it never turned up. Scam artists!

Update…. After threatening them with trading standards they, almost immediately, offered a refund.
I’ve just ordered a book. I contacted them after not getting a confirmatory email or the book. They said I ordered a digital book which, no way would I have done. Nowhere in the description does it mention eBook and they just keep telling me no refund, check email for link and that it’s easy to download. Any ideas how I might get my money back🙁

Bought from website because thought it was cheaper, stupidly didn’t look at any reviews online. But then I had a weird feeling as I wasn’t getting any subscription emails that companies love to bombard you with. So I googled the company and come across the reviews! I emailed them straight away and they said I had ordered a PDF file and to check my junk mail/spam
- I did not get a PDF file and i emphasised that I did not order a PDF file, nor does it state on their website that they only provide PDF.
- In the end it was a lot of back and forth as they kept refusing to refund, however I copied this website to show them they are a SCAM, told them I have reported it to my bank as it clearly shows the money went from Lithuania, will report to trading standards and threatened that I have contacted a court claims for money (Tribunal services) for further advice as this was false advertising and I will be suing unless they issue a full refund and will contact the police and provide their details and will be prosecuted for not following traded standard Laws. ONLY then did they email back and say they would issue a refund.
Disgusting vile scammers. I hope this is helpful to anyone who has fallen victim to their scams.
I don’t know why they haven’t been shut down yet!

SCAM! advertised as hardback, sent me digital copy

This is a swindle, they lead you to believe it’s a physical book and at no point do they state it’s a download.. they have refused to issue a refund and I’ll be reporting them to trading standards. I love their statement on their website, “ Theglobalworld main goal is happy customer!” this couldn’t be further from the truth..

GOT THE MONEY BACK
I also purchased a book that had no mention of it being digital!
Sent an email to inquire where the books was as it was not delivered just to be told it’s audio book!

Explained that their listing made no mention of this- they don’t care!
This will be reported, they should not be allowed to get away with this and continue to scam the public.

UPDATE: Having threatened the company with contacting action fraud UK, trading standards as well as the bank, they have agreed to issue a refund. I have done so anyway as they need to be stopped!
Today the money was back in my account! Anyone reading this review, please report the company and threaten to take them to court- this is the only way to get your money back!
