Almost two years ago I learned my son was addicted to opiates. Not knowing how to help my son or our family, like most people I turned to the internet. I found the Watershed. My son was doing great at the Watershed. The staff is kind and caring. The facility has a wonderful program that holds everyone accountable. Our family participated and worked with the counselors. I recommend THE WATERSHED to anyone who wants REAL HELP! My son left treatment after a few months and he started using again. For 5 months my son was running all over South Florida, in and out of detox. During that time THE WATERSHED called me a few times a week to help me get through the nightmare I was living. Not knowing where my son was in FL was horrible. I know there are many places that claim to be a treatment facility and they are NOT. I know because my son was in and out of detox, IOP, and sober living for five months. Those places were horrible. I know how wonderful the THE WATERSHED is because we experienced many places. The WATERSHED called my son's cell phone attempting to talk with him about getting help again. He never took their calls. I am still in touch with people from THE WATERSHED today as I share the great stories of my son being sober for 7 months now.

I had an amazing experience at this place they helped me so much and they were so good to me i absolutely loved all of the techs and sharing this experience with them and a group of girls and guys that i will never forget.i recommend this place very highly.

I'm so grateful for the watershed . They treated me with respect and gave me the care I needed for my own personal recovery , they introduced me into the 12 steps which have saved my life completely. The whole design of the program is great I love the step down process it was beneficial to my recovery

I loved the Shed the first time I went but I don't agree sending people home if they don't get a job with in the little time frame esp. when a lot of addicts have past criminal records! I was told I had to leave for not getting a job in time and for having a "boyfriend" that was in the same program! My parents offered to pay for my rent and was told I could stay, a few hours later I was sent out the door! I ended up overdosing around two hours later in Florida with my family in PA, I woke up in the ER, clothes cut off not knowing that I was just revived! I went back to the shed a week later and most of the workers were supportive but some were not which caused me to go to a half way house else where! I've been clean since last Aug and I truly think it's because of the shed but mostly because I was sick of being sick! I've made life long friends and lost too many to mention but because of the program I got to have those wonderful people if just for a little of their time before they were called back home to be with God! So I think things could've been different but I'd do it all over again and I always recommend the Shed to anyone struggling! Thank yins for helping me get to where I am today!

My experience with the watershed has been a dynamic one to say the least, it has helped me see the bigger picture, and to accept things for the way they are. It has given me a new definition of what it is to be a man, and I couldn't be happier with the results!

I came to The Watershed February 25th, 2015 at the age of 18 and I'm still here because it has taught and showed me so much about life. Since I came here I knew nothing at all about this disease but being here again has taught me so much and I'm grateful to be sober with the help and support of The Watershed. I have been here once and with what I have learned it could be my last today. It taught me how to live happy and sober taking it one day at a time and also my family calls me and actually wants to talk to me so many blessings I have today so come try it out for yourself and you can see and join us.

The Watershed is a great facility and they welcomed me with open arms EXACTLY when I needed to turn my life around. Their program is one of the best and it has improved a lot since I entered 3 years ago. I still actively participate with their program and love every minute of it! They are my first choice when recommending to others.

The Watershed saved my life and has given me the opportunity to help other alcoholics and addicts struggling with this disease. As a direct result of this program, my family is in my life and I am truly happy with where I am today not just in sobriety but as an individual. The Watershed was the best rehab I have ever been too, the staff was professional and very caring, the housing, food and amenities are top notch-- The Watershed was a wonderful place for me to get my life back on track-- I rate the Watershed as Top Notch-- a 10, great place to recover and learn about recovery--

When I went to the Watershed it was my first taste of recovery. I was taught all of the basics of the program and how to build a foundation for myself and my future. Although I did not stay clean that time I still had all of the knowledge they had given me. And the people I had met there welcomed me back with open arms. Now with over a year and a half sober I know The Watershed was a pivotal point in my recovery and I am forever grateful for all the amazing people I met there that helped me through the most difficult time in my life.

I went through the watershed two times. The first time I wasnt ready to get clean and sober. I didnt take things seriously and didnt follow their suggestioms when I left treatment. The 2nd time I went I was ready to make changes. The watershed provided me with every opportunity I needed to get clean and sober. The facility itself was very nice and the staff was amazing. I credit them for establishing the roots of my sobriety and will be forever grateful.

The material could of been different from week to week but the medical care and help from staff and doctors were excellent and I would deffinately reccomend the Texas facility as it is smaller.
