Bad Customer Service and watch out for wi-fi charges
Contacted customer service via the online chat service. The staff member said she would send me the chat log after the session as the chat window does not allow to save the log or copy-paste. So if the customer service agent types a phone number or opening times of a true move branch you have to write it down by hand or take a screenprint of the window. For a chat session of 10-20 minutes, it is not easy.
The staff member from yesterday did not send me the log, she did however send the wi-fi usage log that I requested. I contacted TrueMove through the TrueCorp website chat service again today, her colleague said she cannot send the chat log for the current session and to contact her colleague about the previous session. However, I had contacted her colleague last night to say that I had not received the chat log.
The staff member today took forever to respond to the chat dialog, and I had to repeat several times the same thing to get any coherent response. Sometimes she took several minutes to respond. Also, received guarded responses.
Be careful if you use wi-fi with Truemove on pay-as-you-go plans. I requested the wi-fi to be disabled after finding that it was connecting automatically and staying connected even when it was turned-off on the device. Customer service agent says it is because I had not logged out from the wi-fi service.
