Mortgage for my first home purchase was made seamless by Michael Lanthier from True North Mortgage. The paper work was simple and the I got the best rate possible. I received quotes from other firms as well, but was not happy with the rates offered and their approach towards customer experience. But Michael from TNM was going above and beyond in terms of helping and coaching me in assessing the market trends and helping me get the lowest rate. Despite me locking in a rate well ahead of closing date, when the interest rate dropped further, Michael helped me getting a rate lower than what was committed to me, which was great.

As first time homebuyers, we had no idea what we were doing. We are the first home buyers in our families, so we had no one to give us advice or steer us in a certain direction. Using reviews on Google, we found True North Mortgage and called to ask questions as well as set up an appointment. Michael Capobianco, the mortgage agent, was very accommodating in terms of setting up an appointment. At the appointment he was very approachable and professional, answering all of our questions (some several times, as this was a whole new language to us). We felt at ease with Mike. Using a computer program, he mapped out numbers we should expect and gave us tips on how to get the best rate possible. Everything was transparent, so it was no surprise that we stuck with Mike and got a mortgage on our first house with him!

I have recently dealt with Michael Capobianco on closing a mortgage. Mike was very professional and explained all the details in a very thorough manner. He was quick to reply to emails and find out answers if he didn't have them. I was hesitant to move from a large bank to a mortgage broker, but Mike put me at ease and I am delighted with the result.

I dealt with Michael Lanthier and he was fantastic. I cannot put into words how much of a life saver he was and how patient he was with my thousands of questions. The rates at True North were impossible to beat but even better than that was their customer service. I have been and will continue to recommend them to my friends and family.
