***3 Month update***
Since the "repair" my high-end computer has a consistent CPU usage of 100% and has a constant high-pitched whine: ruined due to this repair.

Surface Pro 4 battery wasn't charging. After diagnosing the problem, UK repairs assured me a change of battery would fix the problem and my computer would be back to normal. Paid for a call out to my home (which was cancelled and done a day late) where they confirmed the issue, changed the battery and left it charging. Money paid, So far, so good.

At 50% the battery stops charging. Accoridng to the battery report, the battery they installed had already had charges before. I'm told to post off my computer and they'd fix it ASAP. No mention of any additional costs. I do this, and pay the postage. Then I get messages that there was another problem, something to do with the charging chip and to get my computer back I had to pay even more money! Yep, everyone's worst nightmare. Needing the computer ASAP for a business trip, what could I do, but pay what had basically become a ransom?

Altogether, this took several days to repair, was incredibly stressful, and cost more than the original quote. Furthermore, the battery is nowhere near what it used to be, my screen has two "dead spots" after they removed it, and for the first time in 3 years my surface now has a high-pitched whine when the GPU kicks in. Not cool.

All through this, the repair guy was civil, apologetic, but communication wasn't clear enough to avoid that feeling of being ripped off. I would never use this company again; they mean well, but if something goes wrong, they're not reliable and created a really unreasonable experience. I regret not just going with the Microsoft exchange option for 400 quid. It would have been cheaper in the end.

I found out about the uk repairs service having checked online for an iPhone repair.
I had recently dropped my iPhone 6s the screen was badly cracked. I went to the website and booked online and to my amazement got a visit slot for just over an hour later. The guy on the phone was very polite an proffesional.
the engineer did arrive on time it was well within the time slot given. He fitted the new screen and even put a protective cover over the new screen free of charge . Well done uk repairs

iPhone 8 Plus screen replacement.

I called this morning at 10:30am Uk-Repairs to book my iPhone screen repair.

They came to my home at 1pm and replaced my iPhone 8 Plus screen within 15 minutes plus the technician fitted a free tempered glass as well.

What an amazing service!

Second time using them, place my order and within minutes you they called me and offered same day call out service for my Microsoft surface screen repair.

Ali came to my office and he fixed my laptop screen within 30mins where Microsoft and other companies said it will take 2 week and plus i had to send off my laptop to them.

Just thought I'd leave this review as wasn't very impressed with the service I recently tried to have esp after I spent some time in a web chat giving details of the repair I need to make sure there were no misunderstandings. After confirming this and booking online, my repair was postponed three times (and I had to chase the first one up after a no-show by the technician). UKR then decided to increase the repair cost by more than 50% and then weren't even sure it would work.... I ended up going elsewhere (RAPhone) and had my machine fixed for almost half UKR's original cost and all within 15mins. Sorry fellas - but not a great experience...

Sent off broken phone and got back within 10 days very impressed priced well and would 100% recommend

I live in Bermuda and had some challenges replacing a battery for a Vertu cell phone. I spoke to Ali of UK Repairs and a colleague of mines took the phone to London and Ali arranged to repair the phone at her residence in Middlesex.
When repaired, Ali sent me a video of the phone repair ensuring that all was completed. I was quite impressed with this service and expressed my gratitude to him via WhatsApp.
I have given this review 5 stars as no one else wanted to repair the Vertu phone as it is considered a high-end phone.
