Seriously compromised and unsafe…

Seriously compromised and unsafe software.
Claims to be "A platform for scheduling and managing personalized experiences"
I get text reminders from them for personal experiences I haven't booked and were obviously intended for other people.
Your personal data and your customer and client personal data is not safe with BookingBug

Used BookingBug for 18 months because…

Used BookingBug for 18 months because it offered a lot of configurability. Support was generally good although some of the problems shouldn't have made it into a commercial product in the first place - eg conflicts in configurations that resulted in payments failing. But the interface was always unattractive and the app both limited and unreliable. The impression overall was that this was a company focused on big clients with extensive customisations of their own. Defective GDPR implementation finally drove us away and I'm glad to say that 18 months on there are better products for small businesses with equal or better features and lower costs.

Overly complicated, occasionally breaks with little support

I've used BookingBug for a few years now and it's overly complicated and still doesn't provide what I want.
Most of the time it works fine. About once a year the email reminders stop working. I raise the issue, they check the system, close the issue and about three months later it starts working again. No feedback about what the issue is or when it was fixed.
I have my diary so customers book reservations which I then confirm once I'm happy with their booking. Recently a customer received a booking confirmed email before I'd even had the reservation email. I raised this, they tested the system and closed the issue again with no feedback.
Very poor service. I'm seriously thinking of going elsewhere.

Avoid if you value you business!!

Since installing ive had nothing but problems. Clients unable to pay. No customer support available. Wish id read reviews before losing hundreds of pounds in bookings. Please DO NOT install.

I am extremely disappointed with this …

I am extremely disappointed with this company. My review is it is a con artist with good computer skills. I have paid over $30 per month for access to a calendar that will not allow bookings more than 3 months. There is a supposed Australian/Pacific office that either does not exist or return telephone calls. I am now frustrated that I have paid Booking Bug $7200 USD in 4 years without a recent response as to why its system does not work. I called the agency last night with a shove off attitude fro the UK of "I will fix it". Well it has not. Let Booking Bug be reported to each country's Ombudsman it claims to have offices in.

Terrible booking system

Having used them as a customer (they provide the booking system for a tennis court I use) and helping my girlfriend use them for her business, and working in tech, I feel I can provide a fair review.

Their administration system is complicated, badly lain out and requires additional steps that are unnecessary. The UI is outdated and has horrendous integrations that aren't responsive.

Incredibly, when booking their UI often makes it impossible to achieve the simple task of logging in to an existing account. The feedback from everyone using their iframe widget has been pure frustration.

For the price they charge, and the terrible and unhelpful support I've experience - I would say this is the biggest rip off.

I implore people to not use this company until they've figured it out.

Effective system that generally works very well

After a very frustrating time trying to use help pages and contact support, once I finally found the telephone number, it was answered very promptly, by a very knowledgeable and helpful person.
The system itself is flexible, works very well and, once I found the support telephone number, support was very good indeed.

Shocking 'support' for paying customers

Every time I try to call your 'support' team I am met by the same automated message telling me to email instead and when I do email the 'support' team I get a bog standard response which shows that you don't care at all about paying customers. These responses all come from 'Laura' every single time - is she the only person you have working for you?!! Shocking!!!
