Oil Boiler Replacement experiences
The initial survey was very brief.The fixed price quote was spot on my own estimate. The only down side was that we could not use the existing flue. This meant a major re arrangement of most of the back of my garage /workshop. (Moving work bench, swapping over freezers and new boiler locations). However the installation work was carried out very efficiently and on time. The system was flushed and tested on Day 2 and has worked well ever since. We have not really used the heating system very much as yet, but we have ample hot water, and the boiler appears to be much more efficient than the previous one it replaced.On occasion when we have used the heating for a quick top up of heat, the radiators become warm very quickly and the room stat. soon stops calling for heat. It will be interesting to see how quickly this occurs in colder weather. I felt the clearing up after installation and testing could have been a bit more thorough. (Cable tie off cuts and brick dust in plenty of evidence) Some of this was revealed when putting the garage/workshop back together in its new arrangement. The new installation has also necessitated some resulting changes to the mains service wiring in the garage/workshop (mostly repositioning of service sockets) and shelving which is now complete.
A good experience
The initial site survey was very thorough and all of our questions and concerns were addressed. A detailed quote was produced prior to the conclusion of the meeting. We arranged a date for installation which was kept and installation took 2.5 days, very tidily undertaken and our opinion/decision was sought at key steps along the way. Overall, very satisfied with the whole team that dealt with the process.
Recommended without hesitation
The visit for a quote was prompt, and the paperwork arrived very quickly. When I called to arrange a date to fit the new boiler it was made for the following week. The engineer arrived at the time I was told. He was polite, efficient and gave clear explanations. I would have no hesitation in recommending this company!

We were really pleased with the high level of service we received from UK Boiler Care. They assesed our old boiler first and tried several fixes before we decided to get a new boiler installed. The price, and speed at which they installed the new boiler were both great, the work was clean and the gas engineers were friendly and approachable. There was a problem which manifested…
There was a problem which manifested itself after installation which caused us to twice turn off the boiler late at night. This caused us some disquiet but fortunately we were resident that week-end in the property. Another operative came to the house to rectify the matter.

Ben explained operation of boiler, thermostat, HW cylinder and pressurised system and provided all documentation before completion.

First class service
Our expectation based on recent experiences of various tradesmen was not high.However we were very pleasantly surprised. The engineer arrived dead on time,explained clearly what he was doing and worked quickly,talking only when necessary.The electrician who came later was similarly both pleasant and efficient,and the job was finished early. The paperwork and communication from the office was spot on and trouble free.Altogether an excellent experience.
UK Boilers. GREAT JOB
UK Boilers installed a new Valiant Combi boiler, new column radiators and upgraded most of my pipe work.
The original system was ancient, unsafe, unreliable and a ‘mish-mash’ of whatever happened to be lying around, making the new installation a difficult and far from straightforward job and it was all done without moaning and in an efficient and professional manner. Jake, the electricians and all concerned did a great job and in the time estimated, they turned up when they said they would, which is more than can be said from some others! I would happily recommend this team for any of your heating/ plumbing issues.

I was nervous about the unexpected need to replace our gas boiler and called several suppliers. The courteous and professional service I received from Andrew and his colleagues was head and shoulders above any of their competitors. I bought our new boiler from UK Boiler Care and recommend them with confidence.

Shaun came very promptly and surveyed our heating system and deceased oil boiler. He quoted for a new boiler and gave us an installation date the following week. The team arrived promptly on the day, worked quickly and efficiently, and tidied up completely. Installation included a flush and check of the whole system. As far as I could tell the workmanship was to a high standard and we now have a new boiler which appears to be quieter, smaller and more efficient. The project was completed at the quoted cost. Happy to recommend UKBC.

Professional, flexible, great service all round
Really happy with the service I received from UKBC. On seeking quotations they were the only company that agreed to move the boiler to the location I wanted it to be in, and their quote was competitive. They were flexible when I had to delay the work by more than a year, and when we finally booked the work, the engineer did a really good job on the installation. I've been in contact with several members of the company and they were all highly professional, friendly and accommodating. Thanks very much, team.

... particularly if you are a woman. Worrying behaviour from the rude, aggressive, misogynistic individuals who work for this company.
Quite right I’m not a customer - I would never use this company. The only reason I have anything to do with UK Boiler Care is because one of its employees cut a hole in my recently plastered bathroom ceiling whilst doing works to the flat upstairs. He not only didn’t bother to tell me he’d done this or to apologise, when I asked what had happened he was defensive, aggressive and incredibly rude shouting at me in my own property. I naturally wanted to know how and when the damage would be fixed. He toldme that I had to contact their “customer services manager” -a misnomer in itself because he was by far the most arrogant, rude individual I’ve had misfortune to encounter, who attempted to belittle me saying he’s not interested, I have no relationship with them because I’m not a customer and to go away. The moment UKBC caused damage to my property I’m afraid it does have a relationship with me. On calling back to make a complaint I was treated like a massive joke. I was put on and off hold and transferred around the office - clearly not the first time they’ve done this... I would seriously question the ethics an organisation that treats members of the public with such disdain and aggression. Through no fault of my own I’m left with a gaping hole plus the inconvenience mess not to mention expense of having to repair my ceiling when it was only recently done.
The boiler guy also kept leaving the main door to the house open every time he went out to smoke and make endless phone calls. My Indoor cat ran out on to the road because he kept knocking on the door to my flat demanding to be let in to look and take photos of the damage, I have no idea why because they are not fixing it.

Once fitted, always forgotten. Avoid them!
After an initially reasonable installation (though whilst boiler was being fitted the engineer was slagging off a fellow employee), they missed charged me and got shirty when they called out of the blue demanding balance of payment I said I would like to check what has been paid before I just pay again. They also got the figure wrong. Then fast forward a year to the annual service. Failed to turn up on the day booked then randomly turned up a week later. Took out the their home care cover but despite issues, never bothered to answer calls, emails and when they did asked for images before they would ‘acknowledge the job’ then despite providing and again calling, gave up and got another local company to resolve the situation. The arrogance and sure rudeness of ‘customer service manager’ was outstanding and when I called to cancel the home care cover because they have not honoured what I was paying for, again was rude. Wish I never gave them my money. I would not recommend this company....
