I’m about a year late posting this review but I previously wrote a 1 star review back in October 2021 - Whilst I didn’t have the best experience with the food from Winny’s Kitchen I was throughly impressed with the customer service I received from the CEO Shaun Sookoo. After I wrote my review I was emailed, called and texted by the CEO with apologies about my experience and explaining that he had done a full investigation into the batch I ordered to see if there had been issues with the kitchen and also offered me a full refund! He went above and beyond which shows how much they value their products and customer experience which is incredibly rare to see in this in this day and age. I wish them all the luck in their business ventures.

Good food, but was delivered multiple of the same foods instead of the ones I picked

The carribean flavour of these dishes is incredible you can tell the chef is cooking with authenticity. The dishes are saucy and succulent. Definitely will be reordering. Packaging was excellent. Only feedback I have is I would like more protein in the meals compared to other prep companies this is the difference I see. If there was more protein. Easy 5 stars.

Has potential but the final result was poor. Jerk chicken flavour while spicy was not “blended” Flavours didn't come together and still tasted a bit “raw.” After microwaving, sauce was very watery. Similar for Chicken with mac n’ cheese (?). Couldnt taste much cheese and a bit heavy on the vinegar. Overall disappointing !! Compare with the ‘Charlie Bingham’ range (usually very good) of ready meals and its like night snd day.

Food really is delicious in controlled portion sizes and delivered when scheduled. Highly recommended

This was my second time ordering and the first time was ok but the delivery driver didn’t ring the doorbell so the food was left it the hot porch for goodness knows how long! I am significantly aware that this issue had absolutely nothing to do with Winny’s Kitchen and I complained to DPD accordingly. The second time I ordered the food was not packed tightly and one of the curry dishes spilled and soiled a couple of the other meals And two of the other packages were slightly damaged. I would love to order again because the food quality is good but the packaging has to be consistent.

Would not recommend
Ordered 5 meals and each and every one was soaking wet and ruined, 3 boxes had unsealed because of the excess liquid. Dpd driver made me aware that they had been leaking the whole journey and said my only option is to contact the company. I have yet to receive any correspondence from them.

I got more than one box sent to me that was the wrong dinner which was such a shame and actually so annoying. If they had made one mistake fair enough but there were at least three wrong out of ten meals. In addition, each meal was so watery once heated up. It seemed like the veg hadn't been drained properly in every dish. Literally had to pour the water out of the meals. I really wanted to support and I was rooting for the company as my family are Caribbean, plus I wanted nice Caribbean food. I am hoping it was just a bad batch as they seem to have good reviews but unfortunately I will not be ordering from here again.

Winnys is, in my mind, the best online meal delivery company out there.

Decent size meals and not stingy with the meat. Perfect 👍🏻

Amazing … can’t fault it always do a great job

Yum! How is the chicken still this tasty after being in the microwave?

I think if you plated it up and served it to guests, you might actually get away with it!?

Delivered a meal already a week out of date. They claim it was given the wrong sticker. Had already thrown it away. No resolution offered.

Edit - refund issued for the meal labeled out of date.

The food is below average and the packaging falls apart. I've had to bin two more meals because of it. Wouldn't recommend or use again.

The food was absolutely delicious. I wish there was an option to have bigger portions as i am trying to bulk up but this was easily solved by having two meals in one sitting. This is great if you have a busy lifestyle and you want an authentic healthy home cooked meal on the go.

This is going to be my second week trying Winnys meals. I can’t decided which meal I like more! 10/10!! When I get from work I am very tired to cook and I want to eat healthy and tasty meals. Winnys meals are delicious, I can tell how fresh and the good quality of their chicken, beef and vegs, no like the horrible meals in the supermarkets. I am also trying to lose weight and it definitely works! eating your food is healthy and at the same time I feel like I am having a treat.

Very nice, taste of home with convenience

I live in a tower and deliveries are left at reception to be collected. I got an expected time of delivery by text, and the food was packed in sustainable woollen insulation with a pack of frozen gel, so it stayed frozen until I got there. Lovely food

I recently ordered 20 meals from Winny's Kitchen and I was very sceptical when I made the order. I had my first meal today and honestly, I am blown away by the quantity, quality and- most importantly- taste of the meal. I had my meal at work and everyone who went past my classroom said the aroma was delicious. The chicken in my meal was moist and succulent too which- for frozen food- is honestly admirable! I will definitely be ordering from Winny's Kitchen again!
