I gave this a 2 Star Rating rather than 0 or 1 as the person I chatted with online was as helpful as possible owing to Woolworths' reasons. My problem is that I live 1km from my local store and 4.1k... See more

Woolworths are useless!
Woolworths are useless!
I originally bought items from them over 15 years ago and I have just tried to log in in order to buy some items for my brother for Christmas, and found out, via there so called (lack of) Customer Service that I do not have an account anymore!! They have closed my account down without even bothering to inform me, giving any reason whatsoever!!!! No wonder Australia is going downhill, controlled by these large companies that do not care about their companies!!
Good Customer Relations
On Saturday 16 / 11 / 2024 We attended our local Woolworths At Coomera Square31 Kristins Ln, Upper Coomera, QLD, AU Just to Buy A Loaf Of Bread we had left Home about 10 mins away from the Store and left our phone at home made our purchase and went back to the car parked outside and the car would not start, My wife and myself are both in our Late Seventies and were both just wearing Slippers I went back into the store and asked if I could use the phone to Call a Taxi this they let me do ,The taxi Company had nothing available , That was when a Very Kind Young Lady Member of Staff Her Name was Tyler Called an Uber Cab on Her Own Account and paid it for us And would not accept our offer of payment she " said I could see how distressed you were and I felt for you both and could not see you walking home at your age in the Rain.An Act Like This Renews Faith in People and you should be so Proud of your Staff Kindest regards Charlie & Sylvia Dwyer
These idiots continue to completely…
These idiots continue to completely **** my online order. They missed about THREE FULL BAGS this time.
2 weeks ago they left out 5 items. Today's was about 15. Completely unacceptable.
Edit: husband went back. The 3 bags (not refrigerated items, luckily) were waiting in a box. But he shouldn't have needed to.)
I find that the public toilets in…
I find that the public toilets in Woolworths can improve a lot, these public toilets I have found always dirty, most times no toilet paper, it needs a fan in their, they are disgusting, and prefer to use the ones in Big W, talk about unhygienic! yuk! needs soap, needs a different contractor to clean these amenities, I once saw the mop it was black, like it had been used multiple of times never disinfected, never rinsed!
Woolworths are so consistently bad
Woolworths are so bad at delivering on time. More than 75% of my orders are delivered up to 1 hour AFTER the delivery window. Not good enough!
Plus -I have to log in and ask their AI for a delivery time eta. Which just constantly gets pushed back.
Almost every order something is squashed or off, (usually squashed ice creams, limp lettuce, bruised fruit). Anything fragile. They put drinks and canned goods in with tomatoes, bread and eggs.
I absolutely hate the constant surveys that pop up on their app and website.
And such a stupid rip off with the dumb half price every other week. I pay almost $200 for annual free delivery but still the order must be over $75.
I can’t get fresh bread delivered before 2pm so you then pick the 2-5pm window and it always comes close to 6pm.
I hate this company so much. They act like they have no competition and that all of the above is acceptable. It’s bloody not.
Go to hell Woolworths!
If I could give -5 stars I would.
If I could give -5 stars I would.
Online order never got delivered - when I called up 30’ after the timeframe they said the ordered was shown Delivered - 30’ before I even received the packing slip!
The tracking link was absolutely useless - it only shows the distance between the driver and your address, not the actual ETA.
Refund process was also painful - customer service agents were unhelpful and in the dark as well.
Overall, do NOT waste your money and energy on this. Use MILKRUN instead.
Thieves
Took my money online shopping, $174.50 and didn’t send the order at all. Offered me a $30 voucher for the inconvenience. Thieves
Products from Everyday Market may cost significantly more than buying direct
Woolworths are forcing Everyday Market upon users. In your shop, you now get Everyday Market results. This includes MyDeal, another Woolworths Group company.
For MyDeal products, the prices are often significantly higher. Taking an example of kettle on the MyDeal Homepage, it was $32 directly through MyDeal and $74.95
I have shopped at Woolworths for many…
I have shopped at Woolworths for many many years and enjoy looking at changes, updates, marketing and so on.
In recent times, I guess one of the most outstanding points must be that Woolworths under estimates the inteligence of their customers.
Little things such as a sale tag with a negligable discount, even more insulting if you know your products and pricing, it is not uncommon to see the buy two for the better price, but really a week ealier you could buy just one of the selected item for less than buy to to achieve a better price. In simple terms the price has been inflated to offer the buy two for a better price.
Overall, the positive is that the quality has been good, and I'm sure if you questioned the quality, be it right or wrong Woolworths would always do the right thing. Staff have always been polite and helpful. Again my main point would be to respect the intelligence of consumers.
LIARS AND THIEVES.
Had an annual subscription for unlimited delivery.Due to expire, and not sure wanted to renew it. checked date, clearly noticed account states woolies will advise me BEFORE auto renewal. (as you cannot REMOVE your credit details from the account to stop auto renewal) Says this gives YOU the OPTION of not renewing.... NOPE! NO advice given, NO option. Money just TAKEN from my account. Have unsubscribed.
Also, cost of delivery (withouth subscription) used to be visible on each order, suddenly my account does not show what the delivery would cost, or the other various options of delivery would cost. Making it impossible for ME to DECIDE if I want to renew or not. woolworths have become a disgrace in the shocking way they treat all from farmer, manufacturers to customers. So glad ACCC is keeping a close eye on their scam tactics at last.
Customer service for online orders is…
Customer service for online orders is an absolute joke - waited over 30 mins on the phone last night and 20 mins again today with no response. For a company this big and profitable, this is just not good enough to cut corners this way

when shopping at the warrawong store
when shopping at the warrawong store, i watched few times staff bullying customers going though bags which you can clearly see it's not from there store, still not good enough, i went back in after a few months watching this and the same thing happened to me, unbelievable you can't even buy from another shop the go into Woolworths, disgraceful, staff so rude, they even puts their hands in your bags when you tell them to stop it's not from there, if you only have the receipt transaction on your phone they take the stuff off you cause it's not good enough on your phone, last time i shop in that store, you never have troubles in Coles? I called head office, over a week later nothing still not even my goods back or a sorry?
Woolworths: Multiple empty shelves. Rubbish fresh food. Shame on You
Woolworths Redland Bay,both stores Victoria Point.
Countless empty shelves.Tired looking so called fresh food.
I don't know what has happened over the last 6 months but your stores are a disgrace. No more of my money will go through your registers. What is happening? I am also a shareholder but that too will go.
You should be ashamed and I sincerely hope you are.
Coles for me. At least there shelves are well stocked and fresh food is actually just that. Woolworths rubbish. Shame
Can't be bothered
I used to order home delivery from woolworths but the chosen store that they used was further away busier and with alot of unavailable items.I rang woolworths head office which they told me that my store was chosen due to my post code and computer choice
The store was over 10km away with 4 other woolworths in a 4 to 6 km radius which I thought was extremely ridiculous so I decided that I would take control of my woolworths store with products available so I selected the closest store on my woolworths app for click and collect Now I receive what I need and I have 1 of my carer's to collect it at my nominated time with no delivery fee which is a savings for me The new problem is the fact that the staff packing my groceries really Can't be Bothered I have vegetables and fruit thrown into the bottom of the bags without a plastic bag for them with my laundry and cleaning products sitting on top of uncovered fresh produce They are also packing with to many heavy products in 1 bag packed very unevenly making it very hard to carry overly packed weak brown paper bags as the handles rip off with the weight while carrying them it really is lack of training with no common customer care or service these days I started working for woolworths when I was 13. 9 months which we were trained to give greetings customer service and assistance how to pack the first brown paper bags that had no handles so we learnt to balance the weight evenly throughout the bag for customers to be able to carry their bags into their home more efficiently also the contents needed to be divided into the different bags for different products such as no protein or fresh produce packed with scented or chemical products I was awarded best register and packing service assistant as I got customer's through correctly and quickly while packing the groceries in a safe and organised manner
The training when I first started in the 70s was very customer focused and very repetative and routine for an overall customer satisfaction experience I don't feel that the staff are as courteous or stringent on how they work or serve in woolworths today considering the volume of customer they have I feel that greed is priority this is another reason that I don't feel self service register is acceptable as the cost of the food pays for staff to serve and pack for me thanks
I recently visited Woolworth at Macquarie centre…Rude customer service
I recently visited Woolworth supermarket at Macquarie centre and had a very disappointing experience. While trying to purchasing a gift card, I approached a staff member named Pranita who was sitting near the gift card display, instead of assisting customer she continued to ignore and play on her phone.
When I finally mustered the courage to ask for assistance, her response was incredible rude. I simply inquired about whether I would earn reward points for the gift card purchase, to which she curtly replied, “You can scan but you won’t get points “ . Her dismissive attitude was completely unacceptable.
Due to this negative encounter, I decided to take my business elsewhere. I visit Coles supermarket at Macquarie centre and was promptly greeted and assisted by friendly staff members, Nick and Ranjita. Their excellent customer service was a stark contrast to the experience I had at Woolworth Macquarie centre.
To make matters worse, I discovered that the same gift card was available at Coles Supermarket at a lower price! I strongly advise shoppers to avoid Woolworth if they value respectful customer service and competitive pricing. Coles offers a much better overall experience.
I like to shop Woolworths good deals …

Woolworths and Wilson Security continue to fail, miss the mark regards prioritising genuine customer service satisfaction.
Unfortunately, after very recently, number of times contacting both Woolworths and Wilson Security for a contact email address of the CEO's still to no avail, awaiting which is disappointing and seems to further highlight what appears to be a clear,deliberate,non-transparent dismissive culture within.
Basically, simply due to the overall unsatisfactory responses regards genuine customer and feedback is there any genuine reason why preferable communication with the actual heads, leaders of these 2 companies are being withheld considering the seriousness, gravity of the initial incident 19 September,2024?
Unfortunately, the normal, proverbial clicked "we take all customer feedback" is merely lip service.
Even further unfortunate one has to now pursue externally due to what seems has and continues to be internally denied.
Woolworths and Wilson Security need to do better.
Woolworths,The Strand,Coolangatta and Wilson Security's State Operations Manager,Qld both have my email address details which can be contacted on and have recently requested on a number of occasions now for a direct line of communication with the CEO's however to no avail, still being denied.
Can the CEO's please explain and why what seems could be genuinely great, open, transparent communication can be easily professionally achievable only if far too many unnecessary, deliberate, systemic created barriers, etc that only creates passing the buck, dismissiveness, delays, etc to genuinely deal with.Genuine customer satisfaction, feedback, resolve is lost, absent here due to that lost personal touch which instead is a direct consequence of the impersonal customer needs negligence too frequently demonstrated, provided.Basically, rather not, don't want to know, too hard basket, pass the buck, sweep it under the carpet mentality, attitudes which can only be an internal reflection which eventually as a consequence is externally reflected as observed going my the many reviews.
Unfortunately, this also seems indicative that "internally a lot is still not being conciously, decisively willingly heeded, acknowledged learned!"
Can Woolworths and Wilson Security please prioritise genuine customer.
