Refunds

Why bother your rewards system is getting worse, not only that how disgusting is it that you go to get a refund and now your handed a credit slip and forced to use your money in their store. Money is not refunded back onto your card.

You only refund faulty or damaged items. What a farce. As a consumer I have the right to have my money refunded the original way I purchased. Shouldn't matter that I found the product cheaper at Coles, you still wouldnt refund my money and now I'm stuck with some stupid slip that I am forced to spend in your store. Your online team was no help and neither were your store staff. Hence to say wont be shopping with you anymore and we are also changing our car insurance because of this and we really don't care about your 10% discount off shopping once a month either. Get it together woolworths what a joke.

I had to return an item but since Innaloo has changed their checkouts there is one lady looking after the Service Desk as well as a checkout. Not fair on her as it was very, very busy at 11am with a long queue. I asked for help from the staff member who was looking after the Self Service section but she couldn’t help me and was very rude about it. As a lot of the customers in the queue at the checkout were elderly I didn’t want to push in so had to wait a very long time to return my item. Do better.

Company is Bias and Judgemental

Since I was 24 years old, I've attempted to apply for roles in this company. Each and every attempt was knocked back. I have no idea what the issue with the recruitment department is but having someone apply who's had experience in majority of the departments in the supermarket - Service, Deli, Grocery, Meat, Dairy/Freezer - you would think they'd jump on someone who's had a broad range of roles and is versatile to assist in any of those roles if needed.
To top that off, nine years in aged care (So I've worked a lot with people of all fronts and six years as a Security guard in both the PUblic and Government services)
But no, not woolworths.... I've been shot down repeatedly to the point now that I just will not apply for the roles anymore. The most recent was just last week, three roles were advertised for Team Members and "I was unsucessful" for each one. I feel at this point in my life they're Agist (I'm 49) or there's something else going on. I've had no issue with ISA or Coles where I got majority of my experience from.
They are also tied with Big W (Also repeatedly rejected by) so the whole Group is bias.

Disgraceful untrustworthy company

Disgraceful untrustworthy company! Keep blocking account for no apparent reason after taking the annual delivery subscription. Customer Service chat are highly incompetent & cause more problems & might be AI due to the ever increasing incompetence. Stick to phoning Customer Service where the humans are half decent. Always technical issues shopping online or redeeming everyday rewards. As someone who is physically disabled & unable to shop instore solely reliant on deliveries the experience I've had with woolworths online is atrocious. No wonder they rated number 1 as most distrusted brand by Australian consumers according to Choice. Oh well will shop with their competitors & they both deliver now!

I gave this a 2 Star Rating rather than 0 or 1 as the person I chatted with online was as helpful as possible owing to Woolworths' reasons. My problem is that I live 1km from my local store and 4.1k from the next store; guest where my delivery comes from! ... yep, the store 4.1km away which is a much smaller store thus I'm constantly being advised when ordering online that many of my choices are unavailable. The reason I order online is that I'm elderly and it is convenient, or was supposed to be. Looks like I'll have to do Click & Collect; too bad for those incapacitated or without a vehicle.

Did you know when shopping online with Woolworths

Did you know when shopping online with Woolworths, They can take the payment twice due to adjustments? I have had this happen to me three times in the last 10 days. It has taken 10 days for the funds then been available to me again. I spend about $600 - $700 a week at Woolies. (Large family and 4 pets). Unfortunately I can not afford to wait for my money to be released from pending for this long. I have been using Woolies online for years, and this has only just happened in the last month. Just wanted to make others aware as it has out my account in negative, and has also made direct debits fail.

Woolworths must really be scrounging…

Woolworths must really be scrounging for floor staff workers now XD, I collected my groceries from Woolworths Maddington this morning, a rednecked woman in her 50s turned up shortly after I clicked "I have arrived" on my phone, she did not say anything, so I said hi and she mumbled hi or something like that back to me, as she was loading the goods into my back seat I pointed out that I don't allow direct to boot workers to put my groceries into my boot any more, because some of them close the boot too hard and that it causes peoples brake light globes to break, she became very flippant with me from this moment forward, she told me that the workers are not actually allowed to close our boots ( Yet they have closed the boot each and every time for me) I responded saying "Okay, so I'm actually meant to close the boot? they never asked me to" She then told me that the workers are also not allowed to go inside of any customer vehicles and then proceeded to toss the food items across my back seat into the containers instead of placing them into my car as she had been doing before she said it, I told her neither of the rules she has stated have ever been followed in my experience so I'll stick with the broken rule that doesn't break my tail light globes

I would contact Woolworths about this bad behavior, except for the fact that I have previously emailed their office on a similar complaint, they don't bother to reply so apparently the poor workmanship extends right the way into their office workers

What greedy and horrible companies both Coles and Woolworths are SMH...

My review is about a wonderful young man called Tye. His manner and attention at our checkout was the best I have seen. He smiled, offered assistant, packed our groceries perfectly and found the time to talk to us. This young man is a credit to his workplace. Look after him.

Misleading information

Woolworths are heavily advertising that they are lowering prices. Today, at my local Woolworths (Lake Haven) I went to purchase the Home Brand Dollop Cream, Friday's price $4.60 today's price $5.20 what justification is there for a 13% price increase (60c)? No more home brands, no more Woolies.......

I question the category "lamb" chop

I question the category "lamb" chop. Bought up eating sheep. I question if these are not a lot older than lamb i.e mutton based on how tough the meat is. Not fat trimmed.

Woolworths cheat customers

I purchased car insurance through a promotion going through the Rewards app for Woolworths 15,000 points. I linked my rewards account to the car insurance and guess what? They are not giving me any points because there was a promotion code somewhere even though I went through the app and linked my rewards they are not honouring. Very slippery. I would consider using Coles if you’re chasing rewards from this dodgy outfit.

I’m giving it 2

I’m giving it 2, it would be higher if I hadn’t self excluded but being an alcoholic I continue to go there and continue to get advertising emails from there. What really p’s me off is there is only ever one person certified to sell alcohol. As I’m sitting here now waiting there are at least 4 people waiting for the sole salesperson to get back from their break and there’s still 20mins to go. Obviously neither the company or store give a shite as this has only been an issue for about the last 4 years. Yes that’s a long time, but I’ve lived here a long time and prior to Covid there was always a staff member from the store that could cover the bws person while they were on their break. It’s a real roll the dice moment when you walk in the store to see if the bws is open.

Woolworths Meat ALL FAT AND BONE

What an absolute joke Woolworth's meat is nowadays!!! Obviously they no longer have butchers working for them. An insulting, cost cutting action that spits in the eyes of their customers especially combined with the associated, outrageous price hiking of their meat. The lamb chops are noticeably NOT fat trimmed at all these days no doubt as another profit margin booster. Their forequarter lamb chops are full of bone and fat. Many of these chops should only be sold as dog food. I am a butcher by trade (done a hitch with WW a few years ago) and I would be embarrassed to try and offer this standard of meat. Woolworths you should be embarrassed, disgusted and hang your head in shame trying to sell this overpriced, profit grabbing crap.
