The organization of the entire cruise is at a very high level. The cleanliness, the food, the entertainment program. There are not many activities for children, especially those who do not speak German or English.

I love Willy the clown and Jacio from discotek deck 6. They had to deal with a lot of sh*t but never a problem for them.
Elisa from volleyball (i think four elements) was great too. Nice, friendly, and always on time. The guy we had last year was always late. Not Elisa, always there.
Chiara from everywhere, multipurpose girl, multilingual, energetic, the devil is prob scared of this one, she’s a goat.
There is more crew members who made my trip amazing like always with aida but I don’t know all the names. Thank you guys!

There was alot to do on the ship, destations were nice, staff were very friendly, food was excellent.

The itinerary was absolutely perfect: Seychelles, Mauritius, Madagascar and Réunion are all stunning destinations. Every stop was beautiful, and the route itself made the trip unforgettable.

Unfortunately, the AIDAStella ship was a disappointment. On board everything is only in German, and there is practically no communication in other world languages such as English, even on request. For an international cruise line, this is unacceptable.

The food was good, however it was very strange and frustrating that even drinking water was not available during certain periods (between 2–4 PM). This should never be an issue on a cruise ship.
The pools and the 2 jakuzzies are small, cold and overcrowded, and the entertainment programs were low-quality and uninspiring.

If you choose this cruise for the destinations, you won’t be disappointed. If you are looking for a truly international, high-quality cruise experience, AIDA is not the right choice.

Perfect cruise for me and my wifey. We did Kiel-Bergen-Stavanger-Kristiansand-Oslo-Kiel in late November 2025. TY to AIDA Prima and all crew members!

This was our first cruise and it was great. Absolutely everything worked flawlessly, the staff was very friendly. The cabin was clean, tidy and the bed was great. The food was great.

Aida is a great company to cruise with. There's plenty to do on board. The food is good.

After 10 cruises, we still haven't had any poor experiences on board any Aida ship. May this continue for another 10 cruises.

Shit company can’t even refund money when they are the ones who cancelled the cruise 😂

I was very happy overall with my trip. It was my first trip on a cruise ship. I traveled with my girlfriend and pretty much the only very annoying thing we encountered was that they used two mattresses with a separation in between instead of a single mattress on our bed. Plus the rooms are really tiny! But the service & hygiene is spotless! I traveled within Europe with Iranian passport and student residency permit in Germany. They asked to keep my passport and residency permit during the trip which was absurd and made me feel bad but it didn’t affect the trip experience.

AIDAblu – Good food and service, but disappointing cabin and entertainment

We had a good time on our AIDAblu cruise overall – the ship is clean, the staff is extremely friendly and helpful, and the food is absolutely excellent. Especially the Steakhouse and Rossini restaurants are worth every euro – the quality and presentation were very good.

Unfortunately, there were also a few things that didn’t meet our expectations. We stayed in cabins 604 and 605, which I would not recommend (also not 603). They are located at the very front of the ship, and although they have balconies, you can only see the sea if you stand up — there’s no real view while sitting down. In addition, they are very close to the anchor, so it can be quite noisy when the ship docks.

The entertainment was a bit disappointing, especially for teenagers – not much variety and not very engaging. The pool area was also underwhelming: small and with no slides or real attractions, which made it less fun for families with older kids.

And lastly, their App is a disaster. The boardportal works fine, but the App is very bad.

On a positive note, the massages were excellent – very professional and relaxing.

In short:
✅ Great food (especially the à-la-carte restaurants)
✅ Very friendly and hardworking staff
❌ Poor cabin location (604 & 605)
❌ Boring entertainment, not suitable for teens
❌ Small pool area
💆‍♀️ Excellent massages

We still had a good holiday, but next time I’d choose a different cabin and maybe a ship with a bit more to offer in terms of entertainment.

My very first experience with Aida Perla is a memorable one, would only recommend.

Excellent experience on our Family AIDA cruse, looking forwarding to taking a cruise also outside the Mediterranean sea. Hopefully the ports and future offerings from AIDA can make this happen. Excellent ship, design and personell.

If you don’t speak German DO NOT book. Extremely German cruise. From menus to staff, excursions, everything is in German. And not a single warning if you want to book it.

All just great.
