Totally disorganized – never again!
Our experience on the AIDA Cosma was a complete disaster. From the moment we tried to book a simple ticket, we were sent from one counter to another — 10 times in total — without any clear instructions. The staff seemed completely overwhelmed and instead of offering help, we only got snippy and dismissive comments.
The situation in the restaurants was just as bad. They were completely overcrowded, and if you’re lucky enough to find a seat at all, it’s usually still dirty from the guests before you. There was no system, no order, and definitely no sense of service.

Not really for English people as all communication is in German. Otherwise a great company with lovely staff, a nice ship with fantastic performances from AIDA Stars.

Never More … this was the worst experience in a cruise
We do every year a cruise and this time we choose an Aida (first time)
It was so full that everywhere there were fights. Service people did not care about anything, everywhere was full and always long queues …. It was terrible.
The kids club had no space so always full, the restaurants full, the swimming pools full, etc

First aid visit costs a fortune
We were enjoying our cruise on the Aida Blu until my wife was stung by a huge bee, on the deck. She went to First aid to get the bee's hook removed. She was in there for less than 5 minutes. The same evening we received the bill, 183€ . That's a complete rip off. Nobody warns you not to touch the door of First Aid. It totally ruined our holiday.
It was not possible to file a complaint at the reception." It is what it is Sir." that was the answer we got. We asked for information at the First aid desk.Sorry, it's Private healthcare, sir., different costs. People should be warned for this!

The wait at Kiel was too long
The wait at Kiel was too long, 6200 people on a ship was for me too many so everywhere were lines to wait even at restaurants. The room was great and the service as well. Everything was in German so had a bit of problem with that as well. People were very nice and helpfull, but don't forget your app otherwise...
Dissapointed!!
We were quite disappointed about this cruise. It was our first cruise, we booked through an agency to make sure we were well prepared and informed. Booked the premium all inclusive package to make sure we would have a relaxing holiday. Unfortunately it was far from that. The ship was way too crowded for the facilities on board. Big and long cues everywhere the whole day! From elevators to restaurants, seating place or bars. Drinks (not all and not everywhere!) were indeed included but activities or for example an ice cream are all with a big upcharge and prices on board are extremely high. There is also no decent internet available unless you pay a lot for each person. This makes that you cannot phone or text each other on board. So finding each other or communicating on this big ship is a disaster especially with kids who can go around by themselves! Entertainment is also very limited which means that most of the evening you need to entertain yourselves or spend money.

Discriminatory Treatment Toward Asian Guests on AIDA Mediterranean Cruise
I am a Chinese guest who traveled with my 8-year-old son on an AIDA Mediterranean cruise in May 2024. On the very first day, we were stopped by a blonde female staff member from entering one of the pools on the upper deck. She told me it was for adults only (18+), but when I asked where that rule was written, she just smiled and said, “That’s just how it is.”
We left the pool, following her instruction, and never returned. It wasn’t until the very last night that we passed the same pool again and found a posted sign stating that children must wear life jackets — not that they were prohibited.
I reported this to the front desk immediately and was told I would be contacted via email. To this day, I’ve received no response.
As an Asian guest and a mother, I felt discriminated against, misled, and dismissed. My child lost an experience he had been excited about for no valid reason. AIDA should treat all guests with equal respect, regardless of race or nationality, and their staff should provide clear and consistent information — not make up arbitrary rules.

We spent a week on board the Aidacosma
We spent a week on board the Aidacosma. It was a fantastic experience for the whole family. The staff is extremely friendly and very helpful. The ship is huge with 17 restaurants of different styles. Special thanks to László and Gábor (F&B department), I am very happy to have met them.

Disappointing Aida experience. Crew don’t bother to react on complaints.
After more than 1 good experience with cruises (also with Aida) the last cruise was not a pleasure. We had neighbors in the next cabin who made a lot of noise from 1500 until 1900 everyday and the same early in the morning. We tried several times to talk with them but they didn’t care that the screaming and running of their kids bothered us and made our holiday less enjoyable. We complained at Aida Reception 4 times but they weren’t effective In solving the problem. We just had to accept the noise.
The Aidaprima is a beautiful ship with a lot to do for kids and a large playground. We don’t understand that parents and Aida crew accept that a cabin is made a playground, running, jumping and screaming. Not all guests appreciate that. Reception crew tried nothing to make us happy. So never again Aida.
Also the information provided was too late or inefficient. And the food was less than last time but that is is less important than a crew who tries to intervene when there are complaints.
The route and the ship are beautiful as were Dubai, Doha, Oman and Abu Dhabi.
